Several members raised the issue, but management did not offer a refund, credit, or reasonable solution. On top of the monthly fee, they charge $15 if you cancel a booked class. However, when the studio fails to provide one of the classes included in the membership, customers receive no refund or credit. That feels very one-sided. For nearly half of the summer, the studio also had no air conditioning, making the classes extremely uncomfortable. Members were still expected to pay the full membership price despite the conditions and unavailable services. The two instructors who provided challenging, effective classes are no longer regularly available--one left, and the other now teaches only once a week. The remaining classes feel repetitive, with the same exercises being done over and over. I gave the program several months, but the conditions, quality, policies, and limited class options did not justify the price. I have now canceled my membership. Customers should receive the services and suitable environment they are paying for.

Gerrick does a really good job at incorporating partner/team workouts to promote camaraderie at the gym. Every time I walk into class, I feel like I am welcomed by family even though I have never met some of the people there before. Gerrick is also very knowledgeable and is extremely dedicated to helping each of his clients reach their goals. In the middle of a full class, he is able to target an individual's weakness and help guide them to finish the workout safely and successfully. All of the workouts are programmed to fit any fitness level. Although the workouts are pretty challenging, he is somehow able to keep the workouts fun and still functional. I began training with Gerrick back in 2016 at a gym that was less than two miles away from my house. Now that he has opened King in Cranford, I am willing to drive upwards of 45 minutes every weekday in crappy weather just to train with him. My wife and I both had personal training sessions for extended periods of time and they benefited me greatly in half-marathons. They are constantly upgrading and adding new equipment. Most of the staff will greet you upon entry and departure. Their hours are good and there's plenty of parking most of the time. There seems to be a lot of turnover with the employees. Any downside? Yes. Playing rap music on weekends or other times when the workout crowd isn't that audience. Sometimes with very questionable lyrics. I used to shower there before I went to work but I've noticed there are to many people on their phones taking pictures of themselves posing or of each other. Very uncomfortable environment. Also, the amount of people walking around completely naked or shaving while they are naked is appalling. Disgusting. Again, a very uncomfortable environment. Why do people do that? It's not your home. So, I don't shower anymore at the gym and go home instead.

I've tried a few crunch locations and it's been the same experience almost every time, with the gym being very crowded as a result of machines being so unavailable.
