Paid $629.39, got nothing…read more I hope you read this review before ordering from U-Brand, and avoid my mistake of believing that Peter has the client's best interest in mind. Hired U-Brand to print t-shirts for my school. Peter has received the design in EPS file, true to size, I also stated the size I want in the email. For some reason he enlarged it 3 times. When I came to pick up the t-shirts and discovered the wrong sizing, I asked to fix the issue, instead of the apology Peter blamed me, refuse to cooperate or correct the mistake. A couple of days later, he sent me an email confirming that he had made a mistake, and demanding that we pay more for the reprint of the order. He did not refund me either. Dealing with customers this way is truly concerning. Be careful.

$20 to embroider my graduation stole is not worth the rude customer service I received! I found…read morethis place on Yelp and decided to give them a call. The guy that answered the phone was very sarcastic and passive aggressive. I had many questions and he did not seem to appreciate them. Me: "Do you do walk-ins?" Him: "No, we just do appointments. But I'm pretty occupied.... so..." Me: "I see. What hours are you available?" Him: "Well... when are you free?" We tried working out a time over the phone and he was pretty considerate about working around his personal schedule, but I wish he just gave me a general time frame to work with. I asked if 4 PM would be too late in the day to stop by and he responded "ummmm... yeah?". So sarcastic! After the strange phone call, I later texted him if it would take a while for the embroidery to finish. Would I just drop off my graduation stole and come back? or would it be done then and there? I had never gotten embroidery done before, so I had many questions. He responded "It will take less time than this conversation." How rude can you be? I'm not showing up to my appointment I scheduled with him.

When it came time to order graduation stoles, I knew exactly who to go to. I needed 12 graduation stoles embroidered, each with different wording. Although his shop is small and tucked away off the side of the road, don't let that fool you. Cam is incredibly genuine, detail-oriented, and takes pride in his work. He asked plenty of questions to make sure he fully understood what I wanted and even created a quick mock-up when I dropped off the stoles so we could visualize the final product. During the embroidery process, he also called to confirm the wording and placement one last time to ensure everything came out exactly as I envisioned. His turnaround time was quick, and he called as soon as everything was ready for pickup. I would recommend bringing your stoles to him as early as possible during graduation season since he has many orders to complete. I paid half upfront when dropping off the stoles and the remaining balance when I picked them up. The embroidery only costed me between $12-20 per stole depending on what was embroidered. The embroidery itself was excellent. The stitching was clean, professional, and didn't warp or distort the fabric at all. Even the backing was trimmed neatly, so it wasn't uncomfortable to wear. Overall, I highly recommend Cam's embroidery services, especially for graduation stoles. He's located just a couple of miles from the SJSU campus, making him a convenient option for students looking for high-quality custom stoles at about a fraction of the price of what the university charges.

I did see on the receipt that sales are final, so keep that in mind. I will definitely be back for gifts in the future!

The quality of their work is excellent, and some of the shirts they made for me years ago are still in great condition today. I've tried a few other companies in the past, and in my opinion, they don't even come close to the quality and service I get from Graphic Effect. Edgar, the owner, is always very responsive, professional, efficient, and easy to work with. He gets everything done in a timely manner, and he always makes sure the finished product comes out looking right. Their pricing is also very reasonable, especially for the quality of work they provide. They're conveniently located in the North Valley area of San Jose, near Independence High School. The day before I was supposed to pick it up, they called me and told me they had "lost" my stole. Instead of taking accountability, they told me to go buy another stole myself and that they would embroider the replacement "on the spot." I ended up taking time off work trying to deal with this mess, and to make things worse, I could barely even get ahold of the store while trying to figure out what was going on. When I asked if they could at least reimburse me for losing my stole, they told me they couldn't because they were "no longer making a profit" off my order. There was little to no apology, no urgency, and absolutely no professionalism. Then after all the back and forth, they suddenly "found" my stole and told me to come pick it up at 5:30. It became pretty obvious that they never actually lost it -- they just lied about it to buy themselves more time. This was one of the most stressful customer service experiences I've had, especially considering this was for a major life event. Really shitty service. I would not recommend trusting them with anything important or time-sensitive.
