One of my absolute favorite spots on Decatur Street! This is a good place to watch a game (the Bourbon St location is even better for watching games as they have more TVs) and grab some delicious food. Don't pass up on the 20 oz. ribeye steak for $16! Their cooks always cook it as ordered and it is amazing!! They also have awesome wings and pizza! Very friendly staff, a bar with lots of beer choices, and delicious food. Highly recommend!! read more

Came here for a quick dinner with my dad. Seemed like a fun place to just stop in for a meal and beer. Our server was pleasant enough and the food came out quick enough. Why the 2 Stars? Well as we were leaving we saw a giant rat in the bar area. We let the one server working know, and we weren't trying to be rude about it. We just wanted to let them know for future reference. When we told her we expected her to jump at fixing the issue, seeing as a rat in a restaurant is not good for business. Instead we were met with an eye roll and a snarky response of "Well we are 20ft from the Mississippi, what do you expect???" I expect pest control in a good establishment. Get it together before someone gets sick. read more

Meh! Although we got our food incorrectly (my wife ordering: a bacon cheeseburger please. The order taker: "bacon cheese burger?". My wife: "yes". ). My wife walks to the restaurant, lady says she will check that order is correct and complete. My wife get back to hotel. No Bacon. People suck. read more

One of our new finds the last time we were in the Nawlins roaming around the French Market area. Highlights: - One of our favorite hurricanes in the city: super fruity notably using pineapple juice and coconut rum and garnished with cherry, orange, lime, and lemon pieces. Cheap too--I think around 3 bucks. So good we came back for another out last day in town. - Nice chill bar with a pub-by yet eclectic vibe. Wood-type booths on one side and the bar on the other along with exposed beams mixed with paper star lanterns. Also a courtyard area we didn't even check out. - Friendly bartender: didn't get treated like a tourist but more like a welcome guest in a local bar - Apparently the food is Zagat rated: everything from bar appetizers to sandwiches to pizza to crawfish boils... Lowlights (my flip side to highlights): - We didn't get to spend enough time in here--was just a short stop to cool down, rest our feet, and get a cool beverage. We'll come back here next time and maybe spend more time and try the food. read more

my experience was horrible, I wasn't properly greeted and our food took hours. my friend fell asleep waiting on the arrival of out food. which we would soon realize would never come. and our server / bartender never tried to acknowledge or pay attention to our needs. everyone around us was served and we orders hours before them. there is also no manager to take care of the issues at hand. it's like a backwards circus run by incompetent employees read more

Best little fun, dive, sports, good food and drink spot in the Quarter! Have been going here for a couple of years, and always felt right at home. My guests from out of town enjoy the food and atmosphere as well. Steak, pizzas, burgers and nachos are awesome! Love a bar with a juke box and good sound system, and Turtle Bay has that covered. Shout out to Eric, Corey and Aaron, but everyone there is cool. read more

I'll be honest walking by I was a bit hesitant, there seemed to be many other "fancier" places around, but the guy standing at the corner of Snookers trying to drum up business for himself actually recommended this place, so we said why not. BEST chicken sandwich I have ever had!!! The chicken was so juicy and everything so fresh - the bun, the dressing, and all the apps we ordered. I'm not usually one to write reviews, but had to make an exception for this place! I'd been here once a few years ago to watch a sports game and searched it out this past weekend when we were back in town. A group of 3 friends and I had been in town for 3 days and were so pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff here! Both Naomi and Eric made it a point to speak to us and make us feel like guests as opposed to some of the other bars where we felt the bartenders and staff were too busy or bored to even say hi. I went to this joint because Coop's Place (a NOLA classic that always has a line) was too busy and my friend I were too hungry to wait. Turtle Bay wasn't a bad alternative. It's a small place that will serve you drinks and food--nothing special but it gets the job done. I went with this pizza which was pretty delicious: Hangover Helper Breakfast Pizza - Made With Mozzarella & Cheddar Cheeses, Bacon, Canadian Bacon, Sausage, and Eggs I liked the cooked egg yolks on the pizza. So, this is a place you can go if you're already in the area and need to consume something. Otherwise, this is not a place you go out of your way for. read more

Love this place! I came here on a Sunday (I heard they had nfl Sunday ticket) to watch the browns game. The bartenders were super friendly. Drinks were good and strong. The pizza was SO good. They had enough TVs to play all of the 1 pm nfl games. I'll be back next time I'm In New Orleans! read more

Not sure I would describe TB as a "dive bar" as it is listed on Yelp. I'd say it's a neighborhood bar with a touch of NOLA. It's definitely a bar with good drink prices with an all night kitchen. Steak night is always good in price and taste. read more

Not recommended - all my years of visiting Nola, I'm very disappointed. We placed 3 orders of chicken wings, they were completely undercooked. A cockroach was crawling on the wall we were sitting against. The waitress was very kind and understanding, but absolutely disgusting place read more

It's been here a long time, and they nail that late night spot, when you need something other than red beans and rice. So, it's bar food, but still in the classic New Orleans dive bar setting, with a bunch of beer on tap, and food 24 hours. It's a place to have in your toolkit when spending the night whooping it up, and need some food. read more

Easily one of my favorite pizza joints in NOLA. Turtle bays crust reminds me of crackers it's thin and crispy. I usually don't eat thin crust but this with the cheese, sauce, and everything on top just goes well together. I love this pizza too bc I don't feel to stuffed afterwards.
