Ron helped me build a solid foundation for my system starting with dedicated electrical circuits and exceptional filtering with Running Springs Audio components. Ron then helped me address my new found Vinyl obsession upgrading my entry level table to a more sustantial Clearaudio turntable fitted with the outstanding Maestro cartridge. When appropriate Ron introduced me to high quality tweeks like Black Diamond Racing isolation components. Placing these under my new table had an astounding effect. Next we addressed my phono pre-amp with an upgrade to the extremely high value PS Audio GCPH. Though Ron could have suggested many more expensive phono pre amps this model is at the highest end of the dollar to performance scale. Did I mention I have two kids in college and do not have limitless funds to persue this great hobby. Ron always allowed me to set my budget and never pushed me in to unwanted purchases. He has worked within my financial limits to squeeze the maximum performance from my rig. Not much of a digital guy, we decided to go for maximum value in my digital front end. You can not do better than OPPO for value and performance. We linked that to a PS audio DAC and had a fully satisfying digital front end even for a vinyl spinner like me. After 3 years and one of my kids out of college I managed to go for the biggest system improvement yet an upgrade to my cayin tube amp. Ron worked with me for months to explore all the high value, high performance tube amps available. His long standing relationship with Dynaudio allowed me to pick up an Octave V70. Check the reveiws this thing is unreal. As I sit in my chair at night spinning vinyl and being sucked in to the music like never before I know I owe it all to my relationship with Ron and his excellent service and commitment to bringing his clients closer to the music. Staffers here are always welcoming and willing to help (if you are trying to find something specific). Wide range of music here from Movie Soundtracks all the way through all the genres. Theres always something playing over the stores sound system to make the experience a fun and full vinyl browsing experience.

Quickly discovered that they do NOT make anybody available to resolve issues by phone -- you have to leave a number and wait/pray for a return call. At the time I had the specific e-mail of an associate I'd dealt with earlier, and he jumped in & helped immediately. It appears they've plugged that loophole now. 2nd order: Shipped open box product where new product was advertised/charged. Same old story: nobody available to speak with you. Either leave a # or e-mail. They ended up issuing a $50 refund, but this should not have happened. 3rd order: In a panic I ordered a $150 TOSLINK cable, but found out later the issue was elsewhere. Again: nobody available to assist with the return. In response to e-mail, they did approve the return, but charged a $15 "return label fee." Grrr. Hopefully I'll have my wits about me next time & remember to avoid these shady people who only half-heartedly provide customer assistance!

Three consecutive days of scheduling failures…read more I rearranged my schedule for the initial appointment and was asked to reschedule due to their workload. I adjusted again, and they were a no-show. After calling, I was told there was a mix-up and staff out sick. We rescheduled for 3:30-4:00 PM the next day, which I confirmed because I pick my son up at 3:00 PM. An hour before the appointment, they called asking to arrive at 3:00 PM instead. I explained that wouldn't work because I wouldn't be home until 3:20 at the earliest. The technician arrived at 3:20 and left as I was pulling up at 3:30. I attempted to call with my ETA and called multiple times afterward, no answer. This was a clear breakdown in scheduling and communication. I was genuinely looking forward to working with them on a solution, but instead, this experience has cost me time, money, and confidence in their reliability. After three missed opportunities, I cannot recommend their services.
