Chi is a miracle-worker. I've suffered from digestive issues for most of my life. Sharon will ask you a lot of questions about everything - digestion, excretion, menstruation, and ask you to quantify things (fog, for example, as in thinking) which is tricky - but all in the effort to provide top notch personalized acupuncture treatments. After having an exhausting relationship and negative vibes with my previous practitioner, I did a lot of research online and found Sharón. I am so glad I did and switched practitioner, Sharón is always full of energy and positivity and she tells you like it is - she doesn't sugar coat and make false promises - she also doesn't force you to spend $500+ on supplements on your first visit. I was prescribed some herbals after a little over a month and I think they really help for my conditions, they were affordable as well. After weekly sessions (almost) for 6 months, I feel healthier mentally and physically. I have hyperthyroidism, and my medication dosage has significantly decreased after just two months. Let me mention that I am deadly afraid of needles, and Sharón always make sure I'm doing ok. It really doesn't hurt, it's all in my head. I've had some pretty good naps from my sessions actually. I was initially referred to acupuncturist Sharon Bacigalupi by my fertility Dr. and was very, very anxious with the "thought" of acupuncture. I decided to give it a chance and now I can't say enough positive things about Turning leaf acupuncture. First and foremost its extremely clean. Shoes are kept outside the office door, temperature taken upon entrance, hand sanitizing immediately. Calming soft music, beautiful scents of the essential oils and the warm welcome you receive from your practitioner Sharon or Chi-Sun (depending on who you have a session with)  both put you at complete ease the moment you walk in the door. It is a spa-like experience. The practitioners go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. During each session Sharon sits down to talk to you and truly listens to how you are doing that day. She talks to you about your nutrition and exercise routine and even suggests tips on what you can do to help work towards your goal. The focus is on your breathing during acupuncture My goal of the initial session with Sharon was to be able to get me to relax internally in order to get a menses. Within 24 hours I got one, it was a miracle. I had another session where the goal was to get me to ovulate and boom 24 hours later I had a flashing positive smiley face on my ovulation stick. I have only seen Sharon twice so far but I am already seeing some amazing changes. After I leave her office I feel so relaxed and rejuvenated. At my last appointment I had mentioned how I twisted my right knee at yoga the night before. It didn't really hurt to walk but it hurt when I bent it.
