Sharon has been absolutely wonderful! I was referred to her by my doctor when my baby was almost breech at 36 weeks, and I immediately made an appointment. Just a couple of days after my first session, the baby flipped! I've continued regular appointments since then and have felt more refreshed, relaxed, and overall much calmer throughout my pregnancy. Sharon is truly amazing, and I can't say enough good things about her and the benefits of acupuncture. read more

I have been seeing Sharón almost weekly for about ten months as a part of my fertility self-care routine. When we first started, I was in a really challenging position with doctors having little hope we would be able to have our own children. Sharón has not only helped improve my fertility health, she also referred us to the doctor who was a game changer for us. We now have four genetically healthy embryos after two rounds of IVF and are planning for transfer. I look forward to my visits every week and I have endless gratitude for the hope and potential she has helped create for our future family. read more

I wanted to post an updated review- I was able to conceive naturally and now have a 6 month old daughter who is truly my miracle baby! I continued to see Sharon for acupuncture all throughout my pregnancy up till my due date. Sharon continued to provide nutritional and lifestyle advice that was pregnancy oriented and very insightful. I had a relatively smooth pregnancy, without morning sickness and no body aches and felt well up till I delivered, and I do believe that Sharon's support throughout my pregnancy has played an important role in a relatively smooth and enjoyable pregnancy. I am so grateful for Sharon's support throughout my journey to conceive and through pregnancy and couldn't recommend her enough! read more

I starting seeing Sharòn just a week or so after a devastating loss. We had been trying to start a family for 3 years, and had been through 3 grueling IVF cycles. Sharòn helped immensely as I emotionally dealt with such a tragic time in my life, and also helped my body heal. Our goal was to get my body regular again, and hormones under control. After just two months of seeing Sharòn on a weekly basis, my husband and I naturally conceived our miracle rainbow baby. Sharòn is a special acupuncturist. She not only is brilliant with Chinese medicine and herbs, but she also understands the science of fertility and hormone levels. She knows more than most PCP's! I plan to see her throughout my entire pregnancy and beyond. If you're struggling with fertility, give TLA a try. I'm so grateful to have found this amazing practice that has played such a vital role in our miracle! read more

I have been getting acupuncture at Turning Leaf every few weeks for almost half a year now, and Sharón has been an absolute joy. She is so knowledgeable, kind, and patient, and she truly cares about each person she sees. I appreciate how gentle she is with needle placement. The space is very clean and calming, and the check-ins at the beginning of each appointment have been so helpful with monitoring the areas of improvement that we're focusing on and it's exciting to see change over time. Definitively give Sharón and Turning Leaf a try if you're looking to take the next step! read more

Very scrupulous and detailed and expensive for first visit and no follow up for another visit for a month!

Sharon is truly a miracle worker! As a first-time pregnant woman, I was incredibly uncomfortable with 24/7 symptoms, and was feeling desperate to find a solution for constant heartburn, nausea, etc. As soon as I met with Sharon, it was a night and day difference in my symptoms and quality of life. Sharon is truly a phenomenal human being - a specialist in her field, but also incredibly compassionate, kind, funny and thoughtful. In addition to providing exceptional acupuncture treatments, she also is an incredible resource and fountain of knowledge. It's truly a treat to have an appointment with her. It's good for the body and the soul. Thanks to her, I feel like myself again. And I can actually enjoy my pregnancy! It's been an incredible gift to have the opportunity to work with Sharon and I thank my lucky stars each day that I have been fortunate to receive her incredible care. She's one in a billion! read more

I have been seeing Sharon for about 2.5 years. She provided support while I was trying for our second child, supported me during the pregnancy after and has helped me manage ongoing anxiety too. My husband says I am a different person after I come back from Accupuncture and gets excited when I have an appointment I cannot recommend this practice enough! Seeing Sharon is good for the body and soul! read more

Chi is a miracle-worker. I've suffered from digestive issues for most of my life. The issues had become particularly difficult over the past 1.5yrs, to the point where my quality of life was severely impeded. I had tried everything to resolve/ improve the issues: doctors, intrusive medical exams, prescription drugs, OTC drugs, diet, exercise, etc. Nothing seemed to get me on the right track ... until Chi! I have been seeing Chi for ~7 months, and I feel like a new person. The benefits of her work became evident almost immediately, and continued to grow over time. My digestive system back on the right track, my mood is elevated, my stress is decreased, my sleep is improved... I truly feel like a new person. Could not recommend Chi enough!!! read more

I was seeing Sharon specifically for support leading up to a second egg retrieval. Her intake process is thorough so she really understands the full picture of your health, not just the specific issue you are coming in for. Her pre-appointment check-in allows you to communicate any changes or new issues which made the appointments run really smoothly as she clearly reviewed it every single time. My outcomes were phenomenal and I attribute it to starting acupuncture. Twice as many eggs were retrieved in my second round and the only thing I did different was acupuncture, my protocol was exactly the same. I could hardly believe it! My symptoms during my stim weeks were a fraction of what they were the first round. I was sleeping well and feeling great thanks to Sharon! Based on my overall experience and outcomes I have decided to continue to see Sharon for my overall health. I wanted to give my body the best shot going into my egg retrieval, but have found the benefits go far beyond just needed support during that time. I can't say enough great things about my experience. I'm SO glad I found Turning Leaf! read more

Sharon is the most fantastic acupuncturist. She is very good at her job and thanks to her my cycles regulated in just a few months and we now have a beautiful one year old thanks in no small part to Sharon and a full team of specialists! Not only did she improve my health and well-being, she is a font of knowledge and always knew the right thing to say in helping me keep perspective during my long journey from conception thru motherhood. It's an ongoing journey and I'm back in Sharon's capable hands and empathetic care as I try for a second. I recommend her to anyone in the Boston area trying to conceive. In general I have gone from somewhat of an acupuncture skeptic to a full on pseudo evangelist after working with Sharon, even suggesting to friends in other states to look into acupuncturists specializing in fertility as they embark on their conception journeys. I can't say enough about my experience with Sharon and will go back long after my baby-making days are over as she helps so much with my overall wellness and management of stress and anxiety. read more

Sharón is amazing. She is a calm, welcoming person and has a very gentle manner about her. I was instantly put at ease when I went to her office. She is thorough, knowledgeable and sympathetic to the issues you are having. I am using Accupunture for menopausal symptoms and cannot believe the change in a short period of time. I will continue to see Sharón and can highly recommend her! Oh and in case you were wondering, Accupunture needles do not hurt! Her office is located very conveniently to both the "T" and parking has never been a problem. read more

I've been getting acupuncture from Sharón since fall 2019. I started going for infertility and stress after a miscarriage. It was so helpful to check-in and every week or two and the sessions were always very relaxing. I'd never had acupuncture before. I was able to use my FSA to help with the cost. I think the best part was how thorough, kind, and interested Sharón was in my story. In addition to acupuncture, she helped me learn how to track my cycles more thoroughly and gave me herbal supplements to help with lengthening my luteal phase. Within 3 months of seeing her, I found out I was pregnant and have been so grateful and happy to have a healthy pregnancy (now in the third trimester). Thank you thank you! read more

Sharon is fantastic! She is also a board-certified fertility acupuncturist. She is extremely gentle when placing the acupuncture needles-- unlike other practitioners, I have had no bruising or pain during our sessions. She is extremely kind and knowledgeable-- she is worth every penny!! read more

I have been coming to see Sharon and Chi for over 18 months now. They were instrumental in helping me throughout my IVF treatment and pregnancy and now I see them as I prepare my body for another cycle of IVF. My pregnancy was not always easy and it was great to have the support of these two wonderful women as I went through not just the day-to-day elements of pregnancy but also through some pretty nerve-wracking times. They not only helped to keep my body calm and relaxed but also my mind. Their practice is beautifully clean and well maintained and I really appreciate the price they charge. It's reasonable and fair. They are not taking advantage of people. In fact I saw one acupuncturist sometime before I had been told about Turning Leaf; she charged an extortionate amount and was no where near as good. I felt overcharged and taken advantage of and it took me some time to want to try acupuncture again. My wonderful fertility doctor at CCRM recommended Turning Leaf and I have never looked back since. These ladies are the right choice for any acupuncture requirements. They go above and beyond to make sure they can see their clients for appointments. They love what they do, putting their hearts and souls into it and they really look after their clients. read more

I started seeing Sharón for acupuncture about a year ago, and have been a regular ever since!! I had never gotten acupuncture before coming here, and Sharón's calming presence immediately put me at ease. She is very knowledgeable, and did a wonderful job explaining everything to me and answering all of my questions before getting started. I have chronic problems with a pinched nerve and had tried PT, massage, and yoga--all of which helped a little, but it was acupuncture at Turning Leaf which made the greatest difference. I would highly recommend this place, whether you are looking for a targeted therapy or just for general wellness, you won't be disappointed! read more

I feel incredibly grateful to have found Turning Leaf acupuncture, and the extremely skilled, knowledgeable and kind Chi Sun. I have been suffering for a long time with severe hot flashes all through the day and night, as well as chronic lower back pain and migraines ... after just my first treatment with Chi, my daily life was tremendously better ! After each treatment with Chi I leave feeling so much better, with more energy and less pain, no more terrible hot flashes, and I sleep so much better now - what a blessing. I feel such a huge, positive difference in my daily life and always look forward to my next treatments! Chi makes the treatments peaceful and easy, and not only is she such a skilled acupuncturist, but she is very knowledgeable about natural medicines as well ... she is a very gifted physician. All in all, I am so grateful to have found Chi Sun, and look forward greatly to continuing my healing journey with her kind help! Also, the practice office is a peaceful, clean place! Wish I could give Chi Sun ten stars out of five! She has truly given me hope for a better future! :) read more

Sharon will ask you a lot of questions about everything - digestion, excretion, menstruation, and ask you to quantify things (fog, for example, as in thinking) which is tricky - but all in the effort to provide top notch personalized acupuncture treatments. I've been seeing Sharon regularly for 3 or 4 weeks, and she's help resolved the issue that brought me in and I definitely feel better for it. I've recommended Sharon to a number of my clients and they have also reported great service and results from her treatment - and don't be scared of the needles - their tiny, they sometimes ache but that's viewed as a good sign of effective treatment. My favorite thing is when I'm left to "cook" after the interview and the needle insertion with a warm lamp, low light, nice music and I lose track of where my limbs are... Try it - acupuncture works and Sharon is a talented practitioner. read more

I now have regular cycles, I'm happier, more relaxed, and healthier. Lisa listens to you like no other medical practitioner I've ever experienced. She's patient, thorough, and attentive. She was able to solve a problem other western medicine practitioners were unable to solve. I recommend Lisa to anybody that might have any issue that needs treatment. She is amazing. read more

I saw Sharón to prep for an IVF cycle and felt immediately at ease in her care. Her demeanor and space are calming environments, perfect for rest and healing. She is a great listener, and really takes her time to get to know you and understand how she can best help you. I especially liked her massage table that is covered in a cozy sheet and the nice pillow, also with a clean and cozy case during treatment. She will even use essential oils to help calm and soothe you while the needles do their work. I would recommend Sharon and her practice without any hesitation. read more

I started seeing Sharon while trying for our second baby. Two months (almost exactly) after my intake, I found out I was pregnant! Sharon is calming and SO knowledgeable. First, for those of you who might be scared, I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO JUST GO!!!! IT IS WORTH IT!!! I was soo nervous my first time, and I am sooo glad I went. It has been THE best decision I have ever made. Sharon is the absolute best! From the moment that you walk into her office, you can feel that she deeply cares about you and your well being. Her office is beautifully lad out, she has thought of all the details! Blankets, warming lamps, intricate wall decorations, comfortable chairs, pillows (for your head and feet!). She is very knowledgeable and a true expert at what she does, accommodating each patient to their specific needs. make sure to ask for the lavender oil that was always my favorite part! I always felt that Sharon took her time with me, I never felt rushed, I always left with a renewed sense health and overall feeling of calmness. I started going to acupuncture for migraines I found that after weekly visits for a month the migraines become less sever and frequent. I deeply believe in the healing powers of acupuncture, and I truly have Sharon to thank for this. She is the person to see if you are ever seeking acupuncture treatment. read more

After having an exhausting relationship and negative vibes with my previous practitioner, I did a lot of research online and found Sharón. I am so glad I did and switched practitioner, Sharón is always full of energy and positivity and she tells you like it is - she doesn't sugar coat and make false promises - she also doesn't force you to spend $500+ on supplements on your first visit. I was prescribed some herbals after a little over a month and I think they really help for my conditions, they were affordable as well. After weekly sessions (almost) for 6 months, I feel healthier mentally and physically. I have hyperthyroidism, and my medication dosage has significantly decreased after just two months. Let me mention that I am deadly afraid of needles, and Sharón always make sure I'm doing ok. It really doesn't hurt, it's all in my head. I've had some pretty good naps from my sessions actually. I highly recommend Sharón. read more

I want to echo many other reviews: Sharon is amazing and I can't recommend her enough. I started seeing Sharon because I have had eczema for years and my dermatologist gave me the most potent steroid prescription possible and told me I'd reach the end of the line in terms of treatment. My eczema is exasperated by stress and my general anxiety, so I came to Sharon looking for help. And within three (3!) treatments my eczema was gone. GONE. After 2+ years of itching and scratching. I can't thank her enough. Since my eczema is gone, we've moved on to treating my aches and pains and acupuncture has helped with that as well. Her office is so relaxing and she is so calming and wonderful to talk to. If you are going to try acupuncture for the first time, I definitely recommend Turning Leaf Acupuncture. read more

I was initially referred to acupuncturist Sharon Bacigalupi by my fertility Dr. and was very, very anxious with the "thought" of acupuncture. I decided to give it a chance and now I can't say enough positive things about Turning leaf acupuncture. First and foremost its extremely clean. Shoes are kept outside the office door, temperature taken upon entrance, hand sanitizing immediately. Calming soft music, beautiful scents of the essential oils and the warm welcome you receive from your practitioner Sharon or Chi-Sun (depending on who you have a session with)  both put you at complete ease the moment you walk in the door. It is a spa-like experience. The practitioners go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. During each session Sharon sits down to talk to you and truly listens to how you are doing that day. She talks to you about your nutrition and exercise routine and even suggests tips on what you can do to help work towards your goal. The focus is on your breathing during acupuncture My goal of the initial session with Sharon was to be able to get me to relax internally in order to get a menses. Within 24 hours I got one, it was a miracle. I had another session where the goal was to get me to ovulate and boom 24 hours later I had a flashing positive smiley face on my ovulation stick. They place essential oils on you if you like and place ear seeds in your ears if you want so the calming effect stays with you for days. I look forward to coming to acupuncture every week. I highly recommend Turning leaf five stars all the way. read more

I have only seen Sharon twice so far but I am already seeing some amazing changes. After I leave her office I feel so relaxed and rejuvenated. At my last appointment I had mentioned how I twisted my right knee at yoga the night before. It didn't really hurt to walk but it hurt when I bent it. Sharon put some needles around my left elbow and had me move my knee and to my surprise my knee stopped hurting! I was seriously amazed. Sharon mentioned something about vertical healing spots? Anyways I would highly recommend all skeptics out there give it a shot. I can't see myself stopping any time soon. read more

Sharon is amazing! She is a very well educated acupuncturist and I have received nothing but amazing results since I started my treatments last year. I went to Sharon to help treat my anxiety and depression. But, I had no idea how acupuncture would help many more of my health problems. Not only have I had relief of my anxiety and depression, but I've my migraine headaches have been resolved. I have suffered from migraines since I was a little kid, having at least one a month, if not more. Since I started my treatments with Sharon last summer, I have only had about two migraines. I've also had better sleep, more energy and a sense of calmness that I have never experienced before...I've been able to relax for the first time in my life.
