When trying to make a date, she would take days or weeks to respond. When she finally gave me two date choices, I told her I would take "Thursday," and asked what location she would be seeing me in. Several days later, the night before the appointment, I still hadn't heard back so I write her a letter letting her know I was considering the appointment cancelled. She got back to me the next morning saying "I didn't write back because In your response below, you did not specify what day you were confirming for. " A. I did list a day, and B. even if I wasn't clear, any professional would write back and try to clarify the situation. She generally was dodgy and dishonest or ignored me calling her out. After I had enough of slow responses, excuses, disrespect, etc. I told her that I just wanted the value of my payment back, she ignored that and tried to get me into the office in spite of me making clear I didn't really want to work with her. ... There are many other very qualified professionals in the area, I would recommend seeing them instead. I thought she listened to me, was thoughtful and knowledgeable. I felt very much at ease with Jesse. I am an acupuncturist myself and I'm not too fussy about needles anyway, but thought she had a very light touch and the needles felt very comfortable. I really relaxed with her treatment and felt some relief for my neck. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to return since, but look forward to another appointment soon!!!

Here I am, updating my reviews of this wonderful place. Admittedly, I stopped going for acupuncture…read morefor way too long. No reason really. However, since my last review, I've undergone two spinal surgeries...not fun. My spine condition is chronic. My Orthopedist Dr Kim (I wrote a review on him here) told me before putting me under for my second surgery that I'll never be the same as I once was and my spine (disc issue) will always be present. After my first surgery I felt healed...brand new even. I decided to see a Chiropractor every other month to keep me in good spinal shape. Well, my last visit with the Chiropractor left me with a discomfort in my lower back that would not subside. I ran to Dr Kim, who gave me an X-ray and suggested Physical Therapy. I chose a therapist that was suggested to me by a friend. It went horribly and he re-herniated me. Since the second surgery in August 2015, I've had several steroid injections and a boatload of oral steroids, which will make your bones brittle and thin. I decided to go back to acupuncture. Looking back, I should have gone back to it after the Chiropractor incident. I did give it a few tries after the second herniation, but my condition was way too advanced. Normally I get about three months of relief tops from steroids since the second surgery. This past September I made the best decision to go back to acupuncture. I have been seeing Lisa Keyes since September and guess what? No steroids ever since and I feel tons better. No pain at all! Lisa is nothing short of amazing...and I do not use that word loosely. I've been living my life pain and steroid free since September because of Lisa. She has done wonders. My husband has been seeing Anne for the last two months for other issues and his praises for her match mine for Lisa. People of Boston, you should all try acupuncture for whatever physically or mentally ails you and thanks to my review, you know where to go. The five stars overall on this place are totally legit.

Dr Wong was a traditional American doctor and retired to take up TCM. He felt the call to help people out with better techniques. He uses herbs and acupuncture. It's easy to get an appointment with him and you will leave with herbs to heal your body from the inside out. His prices are better than an other herbalist I been to. The herbs you have to boil down and make teas with. He explains in detail how to do so. They do smell horrible and taste the same but it's a small price to pay for having your body restored to health. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr Wong and his practice. If your tired of being unhealthy, and want freedom from American pharmaceuticals I highly recommend coming to Dr Wong.

So, as you can imagine, acupuncture is not something I was thrilled about doing. But, I knew much it had helped me growing up and made the decision to try and get past the phobia. I went to Nicole and, after my first session, it was clear I had found the person to help. To start with, her intake is incredibly thorough and comprehensive. She spent a significant amount of time trying to get at why, exactly, I was there and what I was hoping to get out of it. I really felt like she was listening to me and no question or thought was too silly or off-base to discuss. The breadth and depth of her knowledge is insane and the things she surmised from my answers, my pulse and whatever else were right on target. Then the session started and, to my amazement, the needles didn't hurt at all. Either I've gotten tougher (unlikely) or she is such a pro that she knows exactly what she is doing. As she put them in, she explained the different points and what she was trying to do. I had hopes the acupuncture would help with pain and immune system which it has. What I don't think I was prepared for was the depth to which the session would help me relax. We're all so busy, and the opportunity to take some time just focusing on my breathing and personal wellness is such a gift. Ok, I've gone on long enough. Let me just say that, based on the couple of sessions I've now had, Nicole is going to be seeing me regularly for quite some time. I can not recommend her highly enough and I'm so grateful to her for making such a difference in helping me achieve my health and wellness goals.

Dr. Wang is a miracle worker. Back in July, I broke out into a very severe rash. I went to the…read moredoctor several times to try and identify the cause to no avail. They gave me steroid cream. They drew blood for allergies tests. Everything came back normal even the test for lobster, which I happen to know I am allergic to. When I eat lobster, my breathing becomes affected. Perplexed by the results, I called the doctor to tell him that I thought the tests were wrong. He was looking at my records and said to me, "Well, you're seeing the allergist on the 17th. In the meantime, you can do your own allergy testing." "What do you mean, Doctor?", I replied. "You can eat some lobster", he said. Dumbfounded, I lost my ability to speak for a moment. Then he said, "What happens when you eat it?" I said, "I can't breathe" to which he replied, "Oh. Don't do that." He then wished me luck and the phone call ended. So did my confidence in the medical establishment. During this whole debacle, my friend told me about Dr. Wang. A long time ago, she broke out into a serious rash and Dr. Wang healed her. After the phone call with my doctor, I decided to pay a visit to him. I went to his office mid-afternoon on a Tuesday, signed in and was seen almost immediately. Dr. Wang did a pulse reading on me, asked me some questions, and confirmed some things about my health (he said my lungs were weak which is true - I have asthma). We spoke for a few minutes and he asked me if I was able to drink the tea. I said yes. He mentioned that it did not taste good. That was okay with me. I was beginning to look like Jeff Goldblum in "The Fly" so I figured the taste might appeal to me or I would endure it out of desperation. He gave me the instructions on when and how to take the tea. Patients have the option of brewing the tea themselves or buying it pre-made; I opted for the latter. I had to wait for about 90 minutes for the tea to be ready which was totally fine with me. I ran some errands while I was waiting. The pulse reading was $20 and is free if you buy the tea. The tea, I am happy to say, is not the worst thing I have ever tasted. Based on some of the reviews here I anticipated it would taste like vomit. It is quite bitter and basically tastes like a herbal remedy. I probably would not chose this brew at Tealuxe but I have been able to drink it with no problem at all. I have about three teas left. The best part this whole thing is that the itching has subsided and my rash is almost completely gone. Dr. Wang is a true expert and healer. Some of the complaints on here are directed at the fact that he does not spend a lot of time with you. He doesn't have to. He is an expert and can accurately diagnosis within a very short amount of time. What I love about his approach is that it is truly holistic. He got to the root of the problem instead of just trying to get rid of the symptoms. Dr. Wang is a very nice man. I will go back to him in the future for other treatments. He healed me and I am very grateful to him.

She asked me what I want and I told her I'll look around. I could not remember the name of the supplement Dr Tang recommended to me last time I visited, so I pulled my phone to look it up. She rudely told me "no pictures at the store" - so I had to explain myself....once I found Yantai Sanpien pills picture, I showed it to her and she pulled full pack of it from under her counter. HOWEVER she told me I can't buy it using card, this one for CASH ONLY. I asked her how much - she said $70 cash and I felt totally extorted - last time I paid around $35-40 for it at this store and used my card, no problem, and got a receipt as well. What she is doing is shady and illegal. I don't know if Dr Tang is on it as well - he was not there, the store was empty, but this is outrageous. I will never go there again, and will advise anyone to stay away from this "business".
