It was good before, because the chinese medicine doctor was there. As of September, he retired, and they do not have anyone there. Too bad.

This place has a lot of herbal remedies for sale and the prices aren't too bad but the counter help is none too friendly.

His prices are around $70 for a visit, plus the cost of whatever herbs he prescribes for your particular needs. I have known him for over 20 years and can vouch personally for his honorable and ethical character. His office is at 572 Washington St., Brighton MA. 02135 #617-254-5805. Make sure and leave a detailed message, and he will usually call you back the Monday after your call to schedule an appointment. This is a life changing experience! But you must have patience for these are not drugs but medicines that can actually cure you.‍

I believe he has the intuition and sensitivity it takes to tune into a paerson' constitution, temperament, metabolism and more. His consultation is brief. His charge is affordable even for people with limited finances. ?It is a very good investment in one's health to use herbs even as preventative, like tune-ups, so one does not become ill. The herbs Dr Wong prescribes, and need to be cooked at home in a non-corroding ceramic or enamel pot, are inexpensive, effective and have no side effects, unlike Western alopathic pharmaceuticals covered by insurances.

Anyway, I went to Dr Bhutti for a chronic sinus infection and after two weeks of fever and respiratory problems that did not want to go away. She was strongly recommended to me by three friends, after I had started panicking since I was getting worst and worst. In 48 hrs I was back on my feet, fever finally gone, and after few days my nose was totally clean. I do not know the connection but in few days also my skin looked much better: tight and bright and I eat much less than before since I have no more craving. I am steadily losing weigh; although I did not mention my craving/weight problem to Dr. Bhutti at all. I think there is a re-balance in my total health. So, yes I strongly suggest Dr. Bhutti to anyone wants to improve its health. She has been studying, teaching and practicing Tibetan Medicine since 1960 and she worked for the Dalai Lama for many years. Finally, her prices are more than honest and fair. Ciao.

I've been coming here for 5 months and had kidney stones completely disappearing. Body aches that is going away. Dr Bhutti is an amazing person, she has been doing this for over 50 years. She cares for each patient like no doctor I've ever had. I drive 3.5 hours just to come here. The herbs that she gives you don't taste the greatest but that's to be expected. I don't even comprehend every aspect of eastern medicine but I'm a firm believer in it. If you are worried about eastern medicine not working trust me it does but takes time to kick in. One day you're in pain and next thing you know it's gone.

Su Cousineau the owner of Taproot Healing, and a trained Shiatsu practitioner, herbalist, and…read moreChinese Medicine specialist, is truly amazing. She gives a full, individualized plan of how to cope with muscular and/or emotional issues in a whole self, mind-body way through herbs, massage, and lifestyle choices. In the first session, she does a full intake, and gives the best one hr massage I've ever experienced! I fell asleep twice, and woke feeling rested, relaxed, and clear-headed. Su was also able to give me suggestions about my Chi (Chinese medicine term for energy), was correct in assessing medical problems I already knew about: tendency towards Anemia, low blood pressure (not really a problem), and my tendency towards feeling cold (I have Raynaud's Syndrome), just from asking questions, looking at my tongue, (yes, she does that -- something about Chinese Medicine), and then from the massage. Her work is very thorough, and I got the sense that she really knows what she's talking about. She offers a sliding scale or barter for services, and so, even her rates are "tailor made" (as she writes) to fit each person's needs. This does not preclude going to the doctor or Western Medicine, but is really an adjunct to it. And, I've felt better for days since my massage! I felt so rested and cared for! I'm definitely returning for a monthly massage from her, and also to get a full assessment and herbal tonic (which she creates) to decrease stress, increase immunity, and decrease allergies. The space is in the Cambridge Health Associates building, a kind of house with multi-levels, much light, a wonderfully quiet and clean space of massage therapists and psychotherapists. And, her office has a (free) parking lot in back, to boot! Su is 5 (really 10) stars. Her work is fabulous, her prices are very reasonable, and I highly, highly recommend her.

However, once I stepped inside the gorgeous studio space I felt reassured that I had made the right decision in coming to see here. The decor is Thai themed with rich red and orange, with copious quantities of natural light from the four windows. Mary was warm and welcoming, getting me some water flavored with a hint of fresh ginger and lime juice as I filled out my intake form. After that, we sat and talked for awhile about how I was feeling, my history with bodywork, etc. I feel like she got a really thorough understanding of where I was at and how to best address my needs. As for the massage, I had never had a Thai massage before, so I didn't know what to expect but I think Mary made a convert out of me! It was totally different than anything I've had before. It started with me laying on my back, on a shiatsu mat on the floor, then Mary proceeded to not only massage me but also place me in a variety of stretches that were both challenging and deeply relaxing. By the end I was in a dream-like state, feeling calm and restored, ready to go back into the world. I never feel rushed, and am always invited to hang out, have some water, and chat until I'm ready to go. She makes sure I get the amount of massage time I came for, sometimes running over. I have since come back for more 90 minute sessions, especially if I know I'm going to have a rough week ahead of me. After Mary is done with me I'm pretty sure I'm a little taller than when I first walked in the door.
