Eventually, their Denver office dismissed me, claiming they no longer service my camera system, despite having replaced the cameras just three months prior. They even texted me that my camera system would be available soon. Now, they say they have no cameras because my system is "too old," even though it's a brand new Lorex system installed in 2023. After a month of inquiries, I received a sarcastic comment from the person responsible for ordering cameras, stating that they no longer service such old models. Why provide me with misleading information for an entire month? How can you claim not to service them when you just did three months ago? I strongly advise against doing business with them; you will only encounter frustration. I have text message evidence of our communication and wish I could have recorded our phone call, as it was both disrespectful and unprofessional.

I called for his advertisement on Thumbtack for installing a Cat Line. He answered his phone promptly and was polite on the phone. His AD says he will install a Cat line for 95 dollars. (First Scam) This is just a scam to get you to call. Then once he gets your number he will start texting you with questions. Cat is the standard cable and most all REPUTABLE businesses use it. After Fleix booked appointment and assured me he would show up on time the text started. Do you want Cat 6 or Cat 5 cable. The he tells you how so much more expensive CAT 6 is. Look up Cat 5 vs Cat 6, it is 10 dollars more for 500 feet of cable, hardly a deal breaker. So from him $95 ad he went to $150 a line if he used the better Cat 6. Second Scam Later he text he will cut me a deal and do both lines for 250 in Cat 6 cable - Third Scam So then last minute before appointment he text me with excuses. He says Oh I was driving when you called and just mapped out your address and it is two hours away so I have to add on a $30 drive Fee. Forth Scam So he makes an appointment without know the facts then after booking he starts telling you all the facts that cost more money. Very bad taste in my mouth, this has total scam written all over it and not trustworthy. He may do a good job but the nickel and dime game to try and see how much he get an uninformed customer to pay is just bad business. After I cancelled job and fed up I got a call from Feliz's Wife/business owner. She was very apologetic and said they would waive the fee, did not want me feeling bad and was will to do the job professional and for the price quoted. I explained that this was no so much a money issue as a trust and ethical issue. I did not trust them in my home or their work if they was willing to do what they did. She apologized and said they would be available if I changed my mind. I hope they learned that playing the low bid low ad game and then trying to make up money with BS may work on some but in the long run it will not pay off. On a side note, I had planned to pay him more for the job for showing up being nice and doing a good job, since I knew he was driving, but after the extortion type games, I just did not want them in my home and did not want to support their business. I wish them luck and hope they learned from this.
