ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE Turnkey Vacation Rentals requires reservation holder to register every single guest on their portal. Upon arrival, the guard did not have the list of our guest names and would not allow my guests to enter. Dealing with this company has been a headache from the beginning, as due to our work schedule my wife would have arrived earlier at the property than me and Turnkey Vacation Rentals rejected my request to register her as a secondary reservation holder. The level of customer service and flexibility to provide a smooth path to a short vacation was horrible and absolutely unacceptable. Their responses are mostly canned automated responses that do not offer any help or solution. We were embarrassed in front of our guests would NEVER EVER use this or any other corporate-own property again.

Gunk in cabinet I assume was syrup from previous renters.

AC Andrea Canton 2 reviews A minute ago 3015 Wears Overlook Lane 3015 Wears Overlook Lane Seiverville Tennessee I rented this large house for my family for the week of my daughters wedding. UNFORTUNATELY THE HOUSE WAS RUNDOWN, NOT RUSTIC. We had a fire on the stove do to the fact the pans under the electric burners were so coated with burnt food and crud it ignited. Flames reached the exhaust fan. The house was filthy, the floors were so dirty when we wiped up spilled water the towel was black, as were our feet. There were cigarette butts and ashes on the decks, NONE OF US SMOKE! Garbage thrown off decks lay in the woods behind the cabin. There was black mold around the vent in bathroom and inside it. I found roaches in the bathroom too. The sulphur smell from the water was disgusting. When I reqested compensation for this I was refunded $200. This rental was $3000 for 5 nights. Had it not been my daughter's wedding which took over my time I would have stopped payment as soon as I walked through the door. Do not use properties from turnkey, I read reviws UNFORTUNATELY after I came home, NOT GOOD AT ALL. I hope this save someone else from the very expensive stress I dealt with. EditDelete Share PL

We booked a rental through TurnKey Vacation Rentals in Napa, CA. The pictures online photographed a "luxury" property with a beautiful outdoor lounging area, pool and jacuzzi. The location reported it was ideal for wineries as well. Driving to the property was a huge challenge, up winding roads that are unsafe especially for non-locals. This was not mentioned in the description. When we arrived at the property it was evident that the property had not been visited in quite some time- there were leaves and brush all over the outdoor area, the hot tub was visibly untreated, cob webs all over the frame of the home. The outdoor space was completely unusable. When we were finally able to get inside (code to door was not working, we had to call multiple times for entry), the home smelled of cigarette smoke. There were spiders and spider webs everywhere, bugs in corners, and hair EVERYWHERE... all over the bathroom floor, shower, and all over the beds. The house had clearly not been cleaned and was completely unacceptable. When we refused to stay and showed TurnKey photo evidence, they refused to refund us and said they would have a cleaning crew perform a "deep clean". Why was this not done prior to our arrival? After much back and forth, TurnKey decided they would offer us a refund of about $1,500 ( our stay was over $4,600). Do NOT book with this company. They do not accurately portray their properties online and then refuse to correct their errors. It is also impossible to communicate efficiently with supervisors. They should have done the right thing and refunded us completely. Instead we were left paying for this property AND a hotel in Napa.

Because of that history, I never expected to be treated this way. We experienced a genuine family emergency that forced us to leave early and requested a refund for our unused Sunday and Monday nights. These were weekday nights not a weekend or holiday, and the hotel kept 100% of the charges for both nights despite us not being there. What made the situation even worse was the amount of time we had to spend going back and forth during an already stressful family emergency. The front desk staff repeatedly told us they understood and agreed a refund was appropriate, but the owner instructed them not to issue one. For several days, staff members seemed confused about the situation, while the owner/manager refused to respond to phone calls or text messages. We were left waiting, following up repeatedly, and receiving no direct communication from the person making the decision. I understand businesses have cancellation policies, but there should also be room for compassion and reasonable discretion, especially for LOYAL, repeat guests who have spent thousands of dollars over the years and have personally referred many others to stay here. Unfortunately, this experience erased years of goodwill. Customer service is tested when something unexpected happens, and this hotel failed that test. We will NEVER stay here again, and after this experience, I can no longer recommend it to friends, family, or clients. What a HUGE disappointment Cottage Grove. Not the way you treat your loyal customers.

However I would never stay here again. The hallways and stairwells didn't appear to have been vacuumed this year. A remodel has been started but not finished. There were partially completed projects through out. The couch in our room was stained. The mattress in the sofa bed was in its original plastic covering and the covering was ripped and there were stains and what appeared to be body hair on the mattress. There was a hole in our bathroom door and other rooms had post-it's with the room numbers. Now the good- the AC unit was ancient, But worked. It stinks upon entering the door, It looks shabby in the lobby area, not at all welcoming to weary guests who arrive late at night. It's not in a scenic area either, so the views aren't iconic. It had the usual in-room facilities, but wasn't what I'd call a pretty, or cozy room. The hallway also had a very strong weed smell, it seemed really strong centered around our room. And it's a non smoking hotel. I guess weed's different. I chose this one as they had a hot breakfast included, which one reviewer on Trip Advisor had said was very good. I'm going to assume that was an old review. The breakfast situation was disappointing. Dubious looking sausages, that looked somewhat deformed, as did the egg. They were warm, but not hot. Luckily, toast saved my day, and if you like waffles well you're good. Cereal and a few bagels were there, some fruit, yogurt. Just not all that exciting to me. I had to go back out into the lobby to get coffee and hot water or tea. The hot water was not hot, and i was able to fully submerse my finger in it. I slept, so the bed was comfortable enough (I had brought my own pillow though) as i don't like hotel pillows, i have a certain cooling memory foam gel pillow, and hotels rarely offer a pillow choice, so it's just easier to take my own. I wouldn't stay here again. It has a lot of issues that need addressed.

The rooms are obviously stocked with the cheapest everything, which is understandable, since guests probably abuse the items and the need to be replaced often. The grounds and stay was acceptable. However, the single star is for the awful sales team and their evil tactics. I was staying with two owners who were being harassed, made to make a deposit to see a sales pitch, and then threatened and lied to. Why I ask would anyone who is not an owner want to become an owner when this is how owners are treated?!? It's insane. Why they think these methods would make people want to get in deeper with them, is beyond me. Please don't trust these fear mongering sales people. I haven't a clue how they sleep at night, but it makes the company and this location look repulsive. If I were Worldmark, I would reconsider my strategy and treatment of share/stake holders. Because who would want to join a "club" of people who are being treated this way, and the only benefit is staying at mediocre locations. You can find better places to stay who actually care about their customers and don't harass them.

For instance, we were in the pool when it was happy hour, so they brought us a glass of wine and plate of hand-made nibbles at the pool. They offered to make reservations at a good Italian place for us (Tra Vigne). When we came back to the Inn, there was a bottle of Schramsberg Blanc de Blanc on ice for the guests to share as a nightcap. They are perhaps the most thoughtful innkeepers we've ever encountered. The common area is modern and spotless, the rooms are inviting, the beds are great, and the HVAC has been updated (a good thing during Napa summers). Best of all, the breakfasts are incredible. They brought delicious and artfully presented plates of sausage, fresh juice, poached fruits and thick bread with house-made jam, and a sorbet at the end of the meal. And so started another epic day of wine tasting...
