Avoid at All Costs - Unreliable and Dishonest…read more I hired King Ellis for sodding and tree trimming based on what appeared to be positive reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of a nightmare. After taking a deposit upfront, King gave me multiple dates for when the work would begin--and each time, he was a no-show. No courtesy calls, no updates, just empty promises. Eventually, he completely disappeared. No responses to texts, calls, or messages--just full-on ghosted me. It's clear now that he had no intention of doing the work after taking the deposit. This is unprofessional, unethical, and borderline fraudulent. I strongly caution anyone considering working with him or his company. Do not trust King Ellis. He took my money and vanished. I have since reported him on Thumbtack and recommend others do the same to prevent this from happening to anyone else.

I was so relieved when Metro Atlanta showed up and did an awesome job for a great price! The biweekly lawn service includes more than any other service I have signed up for - edging, mowing, bush trimming, and bagging sticks, etc. as needed. I have been using them for over 2 months and they have provided consistently excellent service. Not only do they show up when they say they will, but they also communicate with me regularly by sending emails or texts to check in on how things are going. I was able to meet Marian, the owner, to get a quote on some landscaping projects we have in mind and she was kind and helpful. We haven't moved forward with the landscaping projects yet but will definitely go with Metro Atlanta Lawn Care when we are ready to proceed. Can't recommend this company enough!

When I spoke with the owner and questioned the price, she went on at length about rising gas costs and the challenges of running a business. They charge $175 per hour and assured me their team works efficiently and doesn't waste time--but that wasn't my experience. In the end, I paid over $350 just to have my front and back lawn cut and some leaves blown, and the quality of work didn't justify the cost. Kids in my neighborhood charge less than $100 and leave it looking better than these guys did. When I raised my concerns, they completely stopped responding. Overall, the service was overpriced and mediocre. They know the work they did does not match what they charged me. And when I said something, they went ghost. No way I'd use them again.

It was full of weeds and my garden areas were not flattering at all. Donnie came out and I told him in a broad sense what I wanted and he came up with some design ideas and a lot of structural things that I had no idea about. They planted new sod, new shrubs (hydranga's, azelias, bamboo (for a natural privacy fence) and some other stuff I don't know what it is but complements everything very well. They also put in stone borders and a paver stone pathway to my back deck. Anyway, it has been a month since his team came out and laid the sod, put in plants, etc in my garden areas and have completely renovated my lawn. My house now has unbelievable curb appeal! His guys were professional, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. He also followed up with me on the care of the plants and sod to ensure it's health. Their prices were fair (even cheap in my opinion for how things turned out!) for what they did and I can not recommend them highly enough.

Y'all... yawl! My back yard, has been in such disarray. When I tell you that it was a disaster, I…read moremean it with a genuine heart. We had gotten so far behind in managing the, and the storms made it worse. There were branches, leaves, cut up trees, brush, Ivy, and even satan himself was there. I first contacted the person who use to do the back yard, but he had started doing a different business. So, I got on Yelp, searched, and Yelp did its thing! I got many estimates from different contractors. I decided to go with this company, because this is where my spirit led me. Mr. Alex, came out and did an estimate. All I can say, is that for what needed to be done, and what Alex charged, was not worth it. This man, and his company, deserves a million dollars, for the peace he brought me. We were unable to start on time, because of these pesky storms. Like, why did it have to rain, when the number 1 contractor, was coming to make our yard, look like a ray of light, filled with sunshine and daffodils? Whyyyy? When the rain stopped, Alex was true to his word. He arrived on time, was respectful, had great communication, and was/is a hard worker. He is trustworthy, and honest. Alex and his crew worked through the heat, all day.....until a storm, yup another rain storm, rained them out. Alex and his crew came back, within two days, to finish the rest. Let me tell you what this company did for my family and I. He removed a big pile of disaster. The pike had trees, leaves, and wood. He removed vines from our trees, he removed Ivy, a big doggone swing set, a bunch of shrubbery, and removed little trees. Y'all, he hauled it away too. Thank ya Jesus!!! But, but, that's not all..... he made it to where we can open our gate in the back yard. Dirt was preventing it from opening. Don't yall know that thats not it? In the midst, of cleaning the abyss, yes my yard WAS the abyss, Alex killed 4 poisonous snakes. 4 poisonous snakes, that could have sent any one of us to to the hospital. This company, made everything so easy. It eased my mind, and didn't break my bank account, that had been dry and drought like. Many wanted to charge so much, that we would have had to wait and save up, thus slipping the back yard further into the darkness. We thank you AT Landscaping. We will see you soon, for the fence, and hopefully many many more projects. Book and hire. This company is worth every penny and much more.

OK, enough of the flowery stuff. There are four members in the crew, and each is skilled in a particular aspect of the field of cutting down trees. I've seen a lot of tree crews, and these guys are top notch. They showed up on time, I had to get the utility company to do a power drop, and then the members swiftly got to work, dropping the trees that could be a problem for my power line first. By noon, those trees were gone, and I called up the power company to say they could reconnect the power, which they did at about 1 PM. (Hidden praise for Walton EMC buried in here. Based on past experience, I wouldn't begin to expect the same level of service from the power company that has the word 'Georgia' in their name. YMMV.) I was so pleased I paid them a bit extra and gave the crew some of my stash of hash. No, that's not quite right. Fudge. Yes, that's it! Fudge, that I had purchased the day before in St. Augustine. I had a total of four trees taken down and absolutely everything was to my satisfaction, a thing that is quite rare these days. There are 3 pictures attached below. I have more, but posting them online might give the government hints as to where I am, and that's just not on. It might involve the hash, mentioned before. :) Cheers, to one and all Satisfied Customer.
