I'm only giving these incompetent people 1 star...because I have to in order to give them a review!…read more I have never dealt with such complete incompetence at a business before. I recently moved into a condo...to find that the sink in the kitchen doesn't work properly...and that the rain shower doesn't turn off. So my real estate agent was kind enough to help me out...he called Tri-M Plumbing (he had never used them before) to have a look at the situation. It was a long weekend and not an emergency...so an appointment was made for Wednesday morning. A plumber dropped by...checked everything out...said he would need to order some parts before he could do any work...someone in the office would call to make an appointment. A girl from the office called me later that day to make an appointment for the following week to allow time for the parts to come in...Wednesday between 3 & 5. So the following Wednesday I took the time off of work to be at my house between 3 & 5...no one showed up...so I called to see if they were stuck in traffic or something...they didn't have my appointment in the books (remember they called me to make the appointment!) and my parts weren't in! I was so angry...but seriously...it gets worse! So after an exchange with the office girl about sorry not paying my mortgage when I have to take time off work for their people to be at my place doing the work...I got the old "I'll have my manager call you!" The manager called to say how sorry he was and that he would have someone there the following week to make the repairs and that I would only have to pay for parts...and he PROMISED to make this right. This made me happy because again I was going to have to take 2 hours off of work for them to come do the work. We made the appointment for the following Tuesday between 3 & 5. Tuesday rolls around...around noon I get a call from the office girl to confirm the appointment for later that day...Yay...finally it's all going to get fixed! NOPE!!!!!! About an hour later I get a call from someone else in the office saying that they can't come out to my place to do the repairs because the parts aren't in yet! CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS???? I JUST GOT A CONFIRMATION CALL AN HOUR BEFORE FROM YOUR COMPANY! DOES ANYONE THERE KNOW HOW TO COMMUNICATE??? I asked her if she was joking and was looking around my office for a hidden camera! Seriously...what a joke this company is! So we left the conversation at...the parts aren't in...can we reschedule for next Monday (Seriously....a month has gone by) Same time between 3 & 5. So I'm thinking thank god this will finally get done and I can do some serious cooking...cause right now my kitchen sink spews water in every direction if I wash dishes by hand! NOPE!!!!!! Today I got a text from the Real Estate agent (the person who contacted these imbeciles in the first place) saying that they will no longer be doing the work and I'll have to find someone else! WHO DOES BUSINESS LIKE THIS???? NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE! EVER! THEY DON'T DESERVE ANYONE'S MONEY!

On the morning of the appointment, they called to say an urgent job had just come in and they'd…read morehave to cancel my appointment. OK... sure. Rescheduled it for the following week. I had to arrange to get home early from work for this. I waited for 2 hours and they never showed up. I called, and turned out my appointment was never in their books. 1/5 for reliability. 1 extra star because at least they pick up calls and call back when they say they would.

I had Poly-B water supply piping throughout my home and I wanted to deal with it on my terms before…read moreit became a problem. I contacted about eight different companies for a quote, including Rick at Tri-City Plumbing. Rick came out within a day or so and got me a detailed quote a couple of days after that. In fact, Rick was one of only three companies that actually got back to me and quoted the job. I took time to get all my quotes together and by the time I decided on Tri-City, Rick's quote had "expired". He said there would be no problem, he would honor the price and we booked a time to begin the work. The technician arrived right on time and early enough for me to review things before I left for work. These guys are plumbers, they don't cut drywall and they certainly don't patch it. I had done some extensive exploration on my own ahead of time and had things opened up enough for him to do his job. The entire project took three days to complete and at the end of each day any mess was cleaned up and I had running water. As a tradesman myself I not only notice but also appreciate quality work. No disappointments here. Pipes are run straight and parallel and are secured neatly. This was no small job and it certainly wasn't cheap, but it was a price I fully expected to pay. There were no surprises and I paid what I was quoted. A job well done.

Within a few minutes upon meeting Marc I could tell he knew his stuff and he gained my trust. We…read morecalled TriCity Plumbing as we knew we needed a little work done for our kitchen reno to fix some problem areas done by a previous owner. I explained to him that this was going to be my forever home and so I wanted to do things right--especially while the walls were open. He assessed the work and made recommendations and gave the reasons why he made those recommendations in language I understood. In the end we redid the whole home! Marc was an excellent communicator throughout the project. Kept me informed but also didn't disturb me while I was on work calls, and for areas where he needed feedback from me he ensured he used my time effectively. This is important to me because I do have many meetings throughout the day. He kept the work area tidy and his work was so precise. My husband and I really cannot say enough great things about him. Even our dog loved having him here. One of the other amazing things Marc did was we had a gas fitter run a gas line to our kitchen for a new stove. Marc noticed that the fitter made a mistake and made sure to make me aware but he did this in a very professional way that didn't call down the other contractor. This really sat well with us and that issue is now being resolved.
