This company is amazing - I have a very old well on some property in eastern Washington. The well was not working, my husband had believed that the pressure tank was defective. I called Tumwater for a service appointment to replace the pressure tank. The technician found that we had a broken PVC pipe and it was not the pressure tank at all. They repaired the pipe, got the well up and running for us for a lot less money than I thought it would cost us. A power surge caused my pressure switch to fail. After I replaced it, I noticed the pressure would go to 60 psi then drop to 40 psi after about 20 seconds before the pump would take it back up. My thought was either a bad check valve or leak in the galvanized pipe above the pump - something I could not fix myself. I called several firms. One never responded. Another called after I had already arranged with Tumwater Drilling for the repairs. The competitor said I would not go wrong with Tumwater. Kellie took info from me and requested photos of the well set up so they could better assess the issue. She was able to schedule me 2 days earlier than originally scheduled. Josh and Jared checked the system, pulled the pump, found the 25-year old pipe above the pump had a leak, replaced the pipe with 120 psi with an added check valve, flushed the system, and restored the system to operation. Time from arrival to ready to depart was 1 hour. Price was very reasonable. If I have a well issue again, I will contact Tumwater Drilling. read more

Excellent, Prompt and Knowledgeable Service We have been in touch with Lance and his knowledgeable staff regarding several projects, including two of our homes in Leavenworth. The office staff is very professional and friendly and the service is prompt. On two occasions I have needed immediate help with an old well and on both occasions the issues were resolved by the next day. Not only was Tumwater the most honest and up front but they were on top of things from start to finish. Communication was a 10/10. Service was 10/10. The driller Brett meT me on sight to make sure the rig could get in to where I needed to drill. WhaT a great guy. They called one day and said they had a window of time to work. I'm super happy with Tumwater Drilling, and especially Tim, their water quality expert. I have a problem with iron bacteria in my well, and reading up on the issue online and talking to a plumber about filters only added to my confusion about what exact steps I needed to take. One site visit from Tim cleared up all my questions - he showed me exactly how to shock chlorinate my well, how to treat my hot water heater, and gave me a number of tips about how to improve my water quality. I recently used Tumwater Drilling and cannot express how great the staff is to their customers. Lance had to talk to me several times during the drilling process because of the depth we had to go. (Council me is more like it) Don't get me wrong this is the most stress I have felt in a very long time. The advise and professionalism from Lance and the staff was tremendous, Brett was the driller and his knowledge and expertise is what help get us through this adventure. Kelly managed my calls into the office and was always kind and attentive to my needs and questions. The price was fair but the service was off the chart. If you are considering a well you cannot go wrong with Tumwater Drilling. Just remember they are busy and if you can give them some time it will be a much better experience for all.
