When I tried to return it to Nordstrom, I was told it was outside the ABLE return window and they had no authority to override the policy. They suggested I contact ABLE directly. I did and was told Nordstrom, and their system, was the problem and I should contact them. ABLE's response puts me--the customer--in the middle and makes it impossible to resolve this issue. And, after many years of excellent customer service from Nordstrom, I suspect ABLE and not Nordstrom is the problem. To be clear, I was responsible for knowing the seller of the item I purchased and their return policy. I did not; my fault. But, when I contacted them, if ABLE had confirmed their policy and graciously refused the return, I would have been unhappy but I would have respected their response and continued purchasing their products, being more careful in the future of their return policy. As it is, I will avoid their products; customer service is everything.

Both employees laughed it off. My sister had already purchased an item before we heard this exchange which she did not hear. Since then, Friday April 10, 2026, we have shared this information to discourage other "stupid" shoppers from giving this store any business. Shame on them for their LOW CLASS treatment of consumers. Boots are nice but definitely not nice enough to endure such poor customer service. I don't understand their business model as anyone who can afford to shop there expects a minimal level of customer service and will happily spend their money elsewhere. Instead you get a bunch of lazy and snobbish employees who couldn't themselves afford a pair of Lucchese boots yet treat customers beneath them. You know the ones..."37206: Over the river and through the hood"; "37206: Do you know where your lawnmower is?" That sort of thing. But in addition to cutesy bumper stickers, they also have hand-made bracelets and necklaces, hats, women's clothing, wallets and more. There were some really cool wool felt hats for just $20 that I would have bought were it not for my massive melon head. Bil (the guy who runs the place) makes leather items, from sandals and jewelry to belt buckles and guitar straps. There are some great snap coin purses and wallets, and while some of the items are a bit pricey, the craftsmanship is clearly top-notch. This is a good place to browse around if you have some money to spend and nothing specific in mind to purchase.
