Do we need reservations for 2 for Friday, 7/18?

No you do not need reservations! You order at the counter and they give you a number then find a table and they will bring your food out!

Does this restaurant have real meat options (beef, chicken, pork and/or fish)?

They do not

Z?lf ok no

My truck accident case was resolved so quickly and professionally by United Attorney that I was amazed at their efficiency. Their attention to detail and dedication to securing the best outcome exceeded my expectations and gave me much-needed peace… Read more

Where are dogs allowed? Is there a patio? How many tables are dog friendly?

Puede pedir que les pongan mesa afuera. Igual los perros si son permitidos dentro del restaurante. Aman a los perros. Yo he ido con el mio.

Is there a liquor license and if not, can I BYOB!?

I don't believe so! I don't know with 100% certainty, but they don't sell alcohol and I've never seen anyone drinking.

Do you serve breakfast all day?

Not really. If they have ingredients for something later in the day, they will sometimes make it. But, in my experience, this is hit or miss.

How well is the sanitation, especially during this pandemic?

Visited the restaurant couple of days and I feel they were taking good care maintaining the precautions due to covid. The restaurant was very clean, , staff and patrons were wearing masks and tables were cleaned after the table was used.

Do they have gluten free options?

Yup almost anything can be made gluten free with a corn tortilla or even no tortilla. They are very mindful of all allergies

What kind of prices ? Do they have lunch specials?

Very reasonable pricing. Menus change daily, so every day is special.

Is Tumerico large enough to accommodate a party of 9 or 10? I don't want to overwhelm or take up all the tables.

Yes, Wendy would be happy to serve. We hosted a 25 person event there and she is delightful to work with.

When is the brunch menu available?

The brunch menu is available every day upon opening.

Assuming this is mostly a lunch place?

This place is for breakfast lunch and dinner!! Breakfast is awesome! Dinner is only on weekends sadly.

They have two large fans above the shaded outdoor area which kept things at a comfortable temp even though it was in the high 90s at the time. As usual, their food was delicious. We ordered 4 pizzas and all were good. We particularly liked the Chiles and Cream Pizza, Everything Pizza, and the Pesto Pizza. Some in our group had the Penne Pesto Pasta with chicken and my wife and I shared the Penne Arrabbiate with meatballs, and both were fantastic, and the server automatically split the dishes for us. The dessert, Lemon Posset, I still remember from last time and have longed to try it again, and it was a hit. We were sad though that they only had 3 left since our group of 9 would have had more if they had it. Delicious!

The menu also features salads and pastas and a nice wine list. We've ordered the Margherita pizza several times, and it consistently is delicious. Though the pizza is definitely the main event, the salads and pasta are solid as well. We've had the Caesar salad which is pretty good, but recently tried the Piastra (chilled zucchini noodles in housemade pesto) which was a light and refreshing start to the meal. We also shared the hazelnut gnocchi which was unique, umami and creamy in flavor. For dessert, we shared the panna cotta which is served in a mason jar - great way to end the meal.

We made a reservation well in advance and even then there were limited time options. The atmosphere of the restaurant is slightly upscale while still being cozy. I love all the plants! Our server was very knowledgeable and was able to give several recommendations. We ordered the grilled and chilled beets and the steak skewers for appetizers. The beets and everything that came with them was very fresh! I love anything with pickled onions. The steak appetizer was excellent and my dad could not stop talking about them. Next, I ordered the swordfish special and my dad got the pork chop. Everything was cooked to perfection and flavor was everywhere! For dessert we split the dark chocolate ganache. The ganache was very rich but paired wonderfully with the whipped cream and other flavors. I don't drink, but my dad also loved the cocktails he ordered! If Tito & Pep has been on your list do not hesitate any longer. I very much regret not coming here sooner and I highly recommend giving it a try!

Suffice to say she absolutely raved - placing it on par with many of the Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurants she has sampled back east. And, we agreed, when Michelin publishes its first-ever SouthWest U.S. edition later this year (2026) I recognize getting a star is a mighty fete but if Tito/Pep does not at least make its S.W. Bib list I will know the fix is in. We started with the Queso Fundido ($13) - with chewy cheese, sauteed mushrooms, and beef chorizo it was a perfect blend of meaty/savory/fatty. We also ordered the Grilled Octopus ($17). What a surprise this was, the crunchy roasted pepper flakes and unusually soft grilled octopus it kicked the pants off of "calamari-style." We inquired and the way they remove the typical rubberiness is by poaching the octopus tentacles for 5(!) hours before grilling. You Go chef Martinez! For our entree we opted for the day's special: deep fried whole Red Snapper for two ($85)... as did about a half-dozen other tables in this intimate 20-tabled venue. See pics as a written description is inadequate. The crisp was excellent and the tender moist fish just beneath, exquisite. The roasted jalapenos were other worldly - somehow only mild heat and with a subtle sweet/acid presence... totally and entirely edible. As fantastic as the vinegar slaw was atop our self-made fish tacos, the tomatillo puree was ridiculous - so fresh and not sour that its scent was nearly as strong as its flavor. We asked again, how?! and were told they first cook the tomatillos for 3 hours. Folks, the effort involved to present this kind of meal would be nearly impossible to do at home for even double the cost. We concluded with the ganache dessert ($12). While so richly decadent it was possibly too rich, only by virtue of its size... it needs to be shared! We were deeply torn over that or the olive oil cake and will opt for the latter... next year, Lol. For drinks we ordered two glasses of their "red blend" (really good for a simple blend) and then the Pie Allen after dinner cocktail ($13) - an interesting combination of prickly pear liquor and port. The staff were amazing - not just in timely attentiveness (a minimum requirement at this level) but especially in terms of being able to field our deep curiosities about several of the dishes. Due to our "layers" of ordering we stayed an easy 2+ hours and were never rushed. Parking will get tight at peak times but everyone will be accommodated. Pre-tip we were at $165 - a special occasion outing for sure but, we both agreed, an (almost) bargain. At this level of quality and degree of effort in Chicago or Miami (places she recently lived) would be closer to $250 for two. Small note: three years ago this began, now it's the norm - restaurants are calculating the tip based upon a total that's After the tax has been added. It's a minor but, nonetheless, unconsented-to, inflation of the tip. Just an fyi :)

I went with the beef short rib ravioli and my husband had the fish and chips. We enjoyed some complimentary bread and oil as a little app before dinner came out. The ravioli was so flavorful (maybe a tiny bit too much cream sauce on the plate) - it was delicious. The fish came out crispy and perfectly battered, and flaky and moist inside. From an operations standpoint, this location runs smoothly. Service has been quick each time I've visited, the employees are friendly and professional, and the space feels clean and well-maintained. So many higher-end expensive restaurants serve bland, tasteless food, meanwhile this amazing mid-ranged restaurant is serving some of the best dishes I've ever had. The smashed chicken was probably the best chicken dish I have ever had at a restaurant. The skin was perfectly crispy while the meat was juicy and well-seasoned. The ginger and herb salsa verde was so fresh and aromatic. The cilantro rice complimented the lemongrass aioli perfectly. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and I'm usually one to reach for the salt shaker at most restaurants. Smoked olives are a concept I have never considered before. It's a concept that was executed perfectly here. So savory, flavorful, and complex. I'd love to have a few with a dirty martini. Speaking of drinks, my Casino gin cocktail was great. Perfect level of sweetness and tartness. I knew I had to order dessert after how good everything else was, even though I am usually not a dessert person. The oolong tea cake was nothing short of incredible. The tea flavor was subtle but paired well with the fluffy and light honey buttercream. Not too sweet at all. Of course, the service was great too.
