This was a really strange experience, and they still have one of my favorite dresses. Tumble, if you're reading this please give it back. I had to call numerous time for an invoice that I wanted to pay and never received it. Honestly, if they'd just return my dress we can move on, but they aren't picking up when I call, and don't call back. It's been six months, I believe, since i placed this order. What a nightmare! Service was awesome. I had 6 bags of laundry including my bedding. Pick up with prompt. Great communications. Drop off was also very accommodating. I left my ID and card in one of my pants pockets which they picked up and they were able to drop it back off with my clothes way earlier than expected time. Clothes were nicely packaged and folded. I was recently in Portland without access to laundry facilities. I was so relieved to find a contactless service - because I was kind of freaked out about COVID. Turns out it was so convenient. They picked up my laundry basket exactly when I requested online and returned it SO fast (for a little extra charge). Really quick and professional. Needed to get a few items dry cleaned and never had time to take them to a cleaners. Found them via Yelp and there was a deal, awesome!!! Picked up my items and a day or so later dropped them off making sure I was going to be home, on a Saturday!! WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. Their online scheduling program is faulty at best. I was contacted by the business to reschedule a pickup and told to leave my clothing out and they would pick it up. I understand the risks involved in leaving bags out on a covered porch, but it was within 30 min of when they were meant to be picked up. I came home, bags were gone, and I figured all was well. I got a text the following Monday, days later, that the pickup had never happened. They never thought to contact me on the scheduled day to let me know it hadn't happened. Presumably my clothes were stolen, and because it wasn't technically in their possession according to them, they can't help me. Of course I have no proof they didn't pick it up aside from notice days later. Now my clothes are gone. It's not even a bad neighborhood. Do yourself a favor: use someone else! read more

We were in the middle of our hiking honeymoon taking a few days off in Portland planning to do desperately needed laundry but on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend no laundromats were open or offering laundry services. TumblePDX saved the day by quickly answering my frantic texts and immediately arranging for picking up and dropping off our laundry at our Airbnb. I recently moved into an apartment with no washer or dryer. With all the unpacking and cleaning, I was majorly dreading hauling all my stuff to the nearest laundromat (a mile away), spending two hours there, and then hauling everything home. While searching for a closer laundromat on Yelp, I saw an ad for Tumblebag. I put in my request for a wash/fold around midnight and they called and texted me the next day asking when I would like my laundry to be picked up. As a spoiled millennial, I love that the business communicates through text messages. We scheduled a time for pick up and they told me to separate my darks and whites. Their employee showed up a little earlier than expected and I hadn't had time to separate my colors from my whites, but he was really nice about it. The way they charge is by weight, 1.65 a pound. For two huge garbage bags full of clothes and cleaning towels (which were totally gross from apartment cleaning) I was charged 19.80. With a tip it came out to 25.00. For the amount of clothes they took, the polite and fast responses via text, and the superb washing and folding job the price is way more than fair. I will definitely be using them again and encourage everyone else to as well! read more

Be warned! I used this service for the first time this past weekend. Several of the items were damaged. Curtains that were made of two different fabrics were shrunk, leaving a 5 inch difference between the two. In addition a comforter was returned not clean and the fill is now matted and shriveled, so it appears to have been laundered rather than dry cleaned (it had been dry cleaned previously and there were no issues). I was originally quoted with dry cleaning prices. I was told that the items needed to be inspected and when I emailed asking more details the email bounced back. It seems that text is the only way to connect with Tumblepdx. If the company had been more upfront with the obvious shrinkage or the stains not getting fully removed, it would have been an entirely different situation. The supposed ease of the delivery service is not worth it if you are looking for dry cleaning services. I would recommend going with a reputable business that lists an address and accurate information. read more
