I dropped off a massive amount of laundry for their wash and fold service and they had it all done in a matter of hours.

Your driveway is disgusting and…read moreappears that you've got homeless people living in a corner of the parking lot up against your building. I get it, you can't control whether the homeless camp out on your property when you're not there, but you CAN clean up the mess. I came in to wash my sleeping bag and the large washer that I was putting my sleeping bag into smelled like mildew. I immediately pulled it out and tried to use another one but it smelled almost as bad. I was surprised after paying $8.25 for a large machine (which indicated up to 30 lb, which my sleeping bag weighed much less than that), that it came out dry in spots ~ clearly not 100%. One of your employees said he would let me rewash at no charge, however, it was late and I have other things that I need to tend to so I opted not to do that and waste another 30 minutes. He indicated that he could not refund my money but that I could call the owner. He gave me a business card. If you can physically see that something is still DRY as a bone in areas of the garment or blankets/sleeping bag do the right thing and allow your staff to refund my money on my credit card. I'm not trying to scam the system, you can see when a customer shows you the dry spots. We shouldn't have to jump through hoops and wait to speak with the owner to get refunded on our credit card for services that clearly don't work as they are intended.

I used to work for this company in Kent, WA. At first, I thought, "Wow, this is an easy job." But…read moreit didn't take long to realise things weren't quite right. From my experience, the company leans heavily into locking customers into long-term contracts that may start off cheap but gradually increase in price over time, often without much transparency. That led to a lot of frustration from customers, and unfortunately, we were the ones on the receiving end of it. I was regularly dealing with complaints about incomplete inventory deliveries, constant price changes, and overall inconsistency--none of which were within my control. There also seems to be a high turnover rate. Employees, including management, don't tend to stick around very long. The longest-tenured person I saw had only been there about three years, which says a lot. That said, I do want to give credit where it's due--Evan stands out as someone who genuinely cares and understands how to manage people. From my perspective, though, he's stretched way too thin and doesn't get the support he needs from higher-ups. That lack of support trickles down and affects both employees and customers. I wouldn't necessarily say "run away," but I would strongly encourage anyone considering this company--either as a customer or employee--to do their research and make an informed decision. Also, the company really pushed employees to get customers to leave reviews... so here's mine.

Please listen to me clearly. Do not use New System Laundry. They made a major error on an order and…read morethen denied it. Not only this, but the quality of their service is the absolute worst I have ever seen. I then tried to leave the contract for their breach and they attempted to bring legal action against me. All of this created a massive amount of stress. Do not use them. I have never been treated so poorly by a vendor in all my life.

The seamstress here does a horrific job. She is either highly inexperienced/unskilled or does not…read morecare about the quality of her work. I brought in three tank bras and a brand new silk dress to have the straps shortened. She completely butchered my silk dress (which was not cheap). It's asymmetrical now, with a crooked hem, and lies funny (there's a hump on my upper back). She cut the straps (but not in a symmetrical way) and simply brought the back up higher, so the crooked hem lies awkwardly high on my neck). You can see that she sewed the hem a couple of times and had to take stitching out and redo it, so there are holes in random places in the areas she was working on. Yes, the fabric is probably really difficult to sew, but she could have told me she was not able to do it. Instead she did a botch job, and it's unwearable. As for the bras, she simply sewed a hem across and left the bulky remains, so they are unwearable. When I picked up the items, she said it was too thick to sew down. She did try to sew down the bulk on one but didn't even try for the others. All of them are unwearable, though, because the bulk should have been cut off (would have taken two minutes to do it that way). An inexperienced seamstress would have known how to solve this problem. She must get lots of complaints because she makes you pay for her services up front. I just walked out the door and didn't check her work until I got home, so I had no chance to ask her to fix it. Of course, I'm never going back. Don't bring anything here that you care about. It's not worth it, she'll only make the clothing even more unwearable. She probably expects you to complain and won't do a good job until you ask her to. Don't waste your time.
