My dad and me in his 84th birthday

Ok this is our favorite place to eat and unwind! The food is wonderful, I recommend the hickory burger or the ribeye and salad bar! The staff is top notch and a lot of fun! Brought my dad here for his 84 th birthday

Steak was tough. The baked potato and steamed vegetables were cold. On the up side, the dog ate well!!!

The 'shaved thin & piled high' French dip sandwich.... Laughable. Only gave 2 stars because our server was sweet!

Sasquatch Burger. Very delicious.

Shared the tumbleweeds appetizer and the Sasquatch burger. Both very good. Serving size was exceptional and taste was spot on. We got there just as their summer staff had left to go back to college and you might have thought that would have caused issues. But the staff worked together to take good care of us. Appearance style is rustic and fun. They are located on beautiful Lake Eufala and offer great ambiance. We will definitely go back.

Big nice bar - not crowded now!

Great location on the lake. Service was very prompt and the food was great. If you are looking for waterside dining, this is a good choice.

Hot, a hint of garlic, w packets of butter. We each had tre. For our salads, both of us had them w a balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Very excellent. Both of us loved our entrees. My husband showed me a photo of the pizza and said, "How's this look?" "Looks good!" Eufaula is a nice little town with restaurants, shops, and typical small town businesses. There's even a Eufaula Museum across from Mama Tigs. We sat at the window facing the street. The table was made from a slice of a tree with the bark visible, but it was shellacked, of course. There were about a dozen options for pizza or you could create your own. There were some other menu options but we were there for the pizza. We chose number 5 ("The Erin") which had sliced meatballs and fire-roasted peppers (sweet not spicy). SO GOOD!! It reminded me of pizza we get from a Brooklyn Italian family-owned restaurant in our small town of Haslet. The cheese and the crust... We also got a side salad with house made ranch. This side salad had leafy mixed greens, sliced cucumbers, radishes (which my husband loved!), shredded carrots, and grape tomatoes. We almost missed dessert but decided to get a cannoli. It was delicious as well. Everything was simple and so tasty. The owner, or who I assume was the owner, was serving another table and asked if they were passing through. They live in Northwest Arkansas and Mama Tigs is their usual lunch spot (there are a few other locations). The owner said most people are visiting the nearby lake or passing through to Branson, when I said "That's what we're doing." We chatted a bit more with the owner and discovered they had lived in DFW at one time. Small world. Great place! Friendly staff! Excellent, wood-fired pizza! Be sure to stop in. It's far better than a drive-thru burger. (I didn't think to get photos of the food. I was focused on enjoying it.)

I've been meaning to try this spot for a while, but I don't visit Eufaula often (it's my hometown)…read more So today we stopped for a late lunch/early dinner, and the place was empty. It looks like they offer a buffet sometimes because there's one right as you walk in. I noticed a little advertisement on our table for a sushi roll option 3 rolls for $13.99, which seems too good to be true. Well, it was. I asked about it and the server went to the kitchen to ask, and they just said they couldn't make those specific rolls. So then I was confused because were they out of ingredients or they just didn't want me to order from the advertised menu? So he then clarified that I could just order from the menu. Ok fine, but don't have that on the table as advertisement. I got the Ironhead roll, which ended up being delicious and worth the $12.99 for 10 pieces. My husband ordered a bento box, which was unique from any I've had in other sushi restaurants. It had a great sushi roll they call avocado, but it had crab and good stuff too. Then it had lo mein with chicken & steak, an egg roll, a wonton, and some little chicken skewers. It was a great deal for $13.99. It was supposed to have soup & salad, but we had to ask because the server forgot. Also they offered ranch... The interior decor is definitely still the exact same as it was when it was a Mexican restaurant too. If you want the most hillbilly Mexican version of a sushi restaurant, this is your spot! I very much enjoyed my sushi roll. And I'd still eat here again. It was just a bit of an odd experience.

The other beginning with a C with Hit and Miss service and then you have here which most of my visits as well as my co-workers have always had nothing but raving talkatives about this establishment. The ambience is wonderful and here is where you want to take a date. From the almost Edison type lights that are on top to the brick wall with a nice historical accent and the ceiling tile of decorative nature. I've tried the hamburger here as well as well as the eggs benedict and they have been on spot. The hamburger is not fried on the grill you can actually taste the charness on it from a grill and the yolks on the egg to Benedict is not overcooked it has that nice runny yolk that we all like and a buttery dream hollandaise sauce that's hard to beat. Price is medium to medium high but look at the ambience of this place you will not get too much of that in this small town enjoy it while you are here. Parking might be a little challenging at peak times because you are parking on the street. When you are tired of the mediocre to bad service as well as the food at the other Steakhouse come over here and find yourself not being disappointed. This is coming from my point of view as well as about four other co-workers that have been to both places. OH, I forgot their address I decent looking bar with a nice setup for your tasting pleasure.

The first thing I wanna say is that I really want our local business ventures to succeed. With that…read moresaid... I must be honest about our first experience at Watson's chophouse on third. To overshadow everything... I do need to say that Megan our server was absolutely incredible even after a very difficult day where we found out she had worked almost 12 hours on New Year's Eve day. Now to the review. We arrived 30 minutes early for our 8 PM reservation with hopes of being able to listen to a cellist that had been advertised on Facebook for New Year's Eve. He was to be there until about 8:30. When we arrived, the cellist was not there. Really... No big deal. We asked the maître D if we could sit at the bar while we waited for our reservation and he said that he would have to clear off a couple of spots at the bar then we could. Well, he was so busy clearing tables instead of being able to check people in and take care of the needs of people upfront that that never happened and someone walked in talked to the bartender and they went up and took our seats. Again... Not a dealbreaker. We waited until 8:30 before we were seated, and during that time, the restaurant had about a third of the tables empty. The line was out the door and people were getting a little contentious. We hardly saw the maître D and was unable to ask him questions because he was bussing tables which I believe should've been someone else's job. I realize people call in on special days like that because they don't want to work and possibly that's what happened because they were obviously shorthanded. The place seemed to be in utter confusion amongst the staff. I would have expected someone who seemed to be the owner or manager to come out and take control and that never happened. No one seemed to be in control. We were never approached the entire evening at our table by a manager or anyone that even resembled one. Now onto the experience at the table. As I said before... Megan was incredible and was running her legs off. We started off with an iced tea and an old-fashioned which by the way was one of the best old fashions I've ever had. She made sure we had plenty of bread, etc. while we waited for our food. We had ordered shrimp cocktail, which we never got, and when I kindly told her not to worry about it when our food was brought to the table, I think she threw herself under the bus by saying that she had forgotten to turn the order in. I think that screwup was in the kitchen. Listen folks... We're not picky people, but when I go into a place and I'm paying $90 for a steak I really think there should be perfection all the way around. The baked potatoes were very good, but I think the asparagus was overcooked and charred to the point where they tasted burnt. The star of the show which was a $90 porterhouse table steak was a complete disappointment. We love our steaks, medium rare. A medium rare steak should have a little bit of juice and blood on the plate. This was not the case with this one. It was medium to the point of almost medium well. The only reason we didn't send it back was our server had been running her legs off and we were not about to do that to her 30 minutes after they were supposed to be closed. So... We didn't say anything. I just think there should've been someone in charge and it just didn't seem like that was the case at least out in the dining area. Again... If you are understaffed in a restaurant that small, especially on a holiday night, it should be obvious that someone in charge is jumping in to fill the gap and we did not see that. Sorry guys, but we'll probably not be back. I just don't have a lot of grace when I pay $90 for a steak and have that kind of experience. Texas de Brazil and Bull In The Alley will continue to be our go to's. Really disappointed cause I thought we would be able to get a really good steak at home.
