It looks like they offer a buffet sometimes because there's one right as you walk in. I noticed a little advertisement on our table for a sushi roll option 3 rolls for $13.99, which seems too good to be true. Well, it was. I asked about it and the server went to the kitchen to ask, and they just said they couldn't make those specific rolls. So then I was confused because were they out of ingredients or they just didn't want me to order from the advertised menu? So he then clarified that I could just order from the menu. Ok fine, but don't have that on the table as advertisement. I got the Ironhead roll, which ended up being delicious and worth the $12.99 for 10 pieces. My husband ordered a bento box, which was unique from any I've had in other sushi restaurants. It had a great sushi roll they call avocado, but it had crab and good stuff too. Then it had lo mein with chicken & steak, an egg roll, a wonton, and some little chicken skewers. It was a great deal for $13.99. It was supposed to have soup & salad, but we had to ask because the server forgot. Also they offered ranch... The interior decor is definitely still the exact same as it was when it was a Mexican restaurant too. If you want the most hillbilly Mexican version of a sushi restaurant, this is your spot! I very much enjoyed my sushi roll. And I'd still eat here again. It was just a bit of an odd experience.

The server was so polite and offered great alternatives if you wandered about mixing and matching menu items. My food ended up taking a while so they gave me an extra piece of fish and let's just say that I was certainly pleased with that gesture. I didn't eat it all In one setting, so I was able to take some home and actually have lunch the next day. The place was such a relaxed space and easy spot to consume your food. I like grapefruit (I peel it like an Orange and eat the wedges without sugar) so right up my alley. Even my wife (who doesn't like grapefruit) loved this drink. Had the Ceviche app. Really good. I am kind of a ceviche expert (have been eating it and a similar food called kelaguin all over the world) and this may be the best we have had in the States. We shared the lobster ravioli and a pecan crusted red snapper (the monkfish was sold out) and both were great. Ravioli was exceptional. Three pieces, shrimp and perfect sauce. Lots of lobster in the filling. The snapper which again was the substitute for the monkfish was light with a more subtle flavor but was served with really good mashed potatoes and broccoli. Unfortunately the ravioli came out first (had to change the fish so slight delay) so the strength of the ravioli flavor would have been better as the second shared entree due to the subtleness of the pecan crusted snapper. The lemon slices were big and non-uniform--they looked like they belonged slotted on the rim of a glass of water not on a sushi roll. Instead of providing a nice hint of tartness, the lemon just overpowered any other flavor. Beyond that, they were just carelessly strewn across the top of the roll, so the coverage for individual pieces was laughable. Horrible experience. Up until this time, I would have been recommending Blu over Junto, but now I'm not even sure it ranks higher than Sushi House. Don't plan to be back anytime soon.
