They called to cancel my appointment days in advance for an emergency (in the English dictionary an…read moreemergency is immediate, not days away--they should have said "a conflict") which felt deceptive at the outset. I moved around 3 other appointments as I too am a busy professional. Yet, I got there, got the tests and drops and then was left waiting for 45 minutes and after they let others see the doctor who had come in and gotten drops 20 mins. later than me, I said something. The young lady was too busy eating and gave me a dirty look which was smug for a young lady. This is either poor practice management (no excuse when AI and other tools allow for accurate scheduling), a general culture of disrespect, or simply a young male eye doctor's arrogance. Dr. Khan seems to have lost control of his schedule and staff. This type of mismanagement may be acceptable to you. I am sure he is a good doctor, but I am good at my profession also, but would not treat clients this way. They want you to be on time, but they are not.

He sent letters announcing his retirement. Good! I would never go back to that office of…read moregossips, meddlers, and busybodies; and he talks out of school and violates HIPAA. He removed one of my natural lenses. I would never let him do the other one, He claimed it needed removing. 5 years later another ophthalmologist tells me it DIDN'T and still doesn't need it. He is obnoxious, abrasive, unethical. The morning I showed up for my cataract surgery, he was disturbed and upset. My surgery turned out to be a mess: It diminished the vision in that eye, and years later I am still dealing with flashing and blurred vision in that one abused eye. Two other patients who were scheduled that morning did not show up, the nurse told me. And Cahan was angry. I wish I hadn't shown up either. Those two must have learned something and gotten a warning I did not get.

I…read morewent in because I wanted contacts and told Brenda that when I sat down with her the first time, only to find out later after being there for an hour (mostly waiting) that they don't even carry the contacts. The staff wasn't very welcoming, I could hear them talking about me from down the hall as I was waiting. Very unprofessional. They charged me an extra $50 for "contact fitting" and didn't explain why since I didn't actually get any contacts with them. After the appointment was finally over, I had to wait some more in the lobby to get my prescription. I had an appointment set up later in the week for my boyfriend that he went ahead and cancelled. Save yourself the hassle. Just avoid this practice.

I have been waiting with my son for 3 hours. When I arrived 15 minutes before my 9:30 appointment I…read morenoticed that the waiting room was filled, to the point that some people could not find seating. After hours the babies started crying and the older children lost patience. To over schedule like this is extremely inconsiderate of peoples work and school schedules and Dr's that do this type of practice do not deserve patronage. No specialist in town has made us wait half this long and I would never come here again.

He is so personable, as is his assistant, and answers questions patiently and thoroughly. I would most certainly rather have a plastic surgeon do my work than a technician which is what my last place offered. If you think, because he is a plastic surgeon, that you will pay an arm and a leg, you are wrong. His prices are reasonable. I plan to go back soon for laser treatments.
