So we continue to look on the property just to get ideas of what we wanted to plant. They do have a good variety of plants and trees, which helped a lot to give us an idea of what will survive in our area. Although this trip did not result in any purchases, at least we know this place we can come here and hopefully they'll have some of the plants and trees. We were interested in on sale so we can oh no, no no shit come back and purchase some items.

First off, as a customer service representative myself, I know that you are always supposed to put guests first and not ask them to move. You are supposed to be the one that moves around them. January 25, 2020 4…read morestars (for now that is). Nice smooth experience at this Home Depot in Prescott Valley, AZ today. Excellent service in the paint department and then walked right up to a helpful (and human) cashier to pay. Fantastic. Patronize this Home Depot location while you can still enjoy the service experience before they convert this Home Depot over to 100% self checkout stations just like the Home Depot stores have done where I live (Southern California). Yes, that's right, not one single cashier anymore. All self checkout. No one to help you at all. Nothing. Zero. Nada. You are on your own. The HDCI (Home Depot Corporate Idiots) believe that eliminating cashiers and having only self checkout stations is a great idea (for them) and will eventually convert this Prescott Valley Home Depot location as well. It's only a matter of time. They don't care about inconvenience for you. It's all about profit. They hurt our economy (eliminating employees), they don't care, it's all about profit. Customer service? Forget about it. I despise self checkout and refuse to use them. I'll leave the shopping cart full of merchandise and walk right out the front door. Let the employees they no longer have at these stores put the stuff back on the shelves! Once this Home Depot (in Prescott Valley) converts to all self checkout stations, I urge you to take your business elsewhere. Lowe's, Ace, anywhere but Home Depot! See my photo below of the future Prescott Valley, Home Depot "Employee of the Month".

We were completely WOWED by the beautiful, hand-made furniture on display. My husband was immediately drawn to a gorgeous dark roll-top desk displayed prominently in the back center of the store. He has wanted an Amish roll top desk for a while, but the high price gave us pause. Dan of Amish Home Decor told us about the desk, a consignment piece made by a skilled craftsman. Then he offered to discount the desk and we were sold! My husband was so happy that he was getting the desk that tears came to his eyes. Dan and Deb were so nice and personable, explaining the origin of every piece we admired, and gave us a brochure on how to care for the furniture (use water only! No Pledge!). We also bought a gorgeous sofa table. The desk was promptly delivered 3 days later by Fireman Movers, and fits perfectly in my husband's study. He is a very happy camper. The Amish furniture in this shop is so well made, it makes regular furniture look like Ikea stuff. One day I want an Amish dining set! It's all VERY pricey but that is because you are getting super high quality made by skilled craftsmen who do things right.
