I paid Tuff Shed a 50% deposit on 8/17 to install a garage on 10/7. They didn't show. They rescheduled for 11/10. They didn't show. They're unresponsive and won't answer phones or email. It occurs to me that after we signed our agreement the material costs increased due to COVID so now their margin is much smaller on my project. They want me to cancel so they can, in effect, sell my materials to another client at the inflated cost. Look at the BBB website and see for yourself. BEWARE. 11/21-The response from Tom S below is somewhat true. They offered me a shingle upgrade if I paid them another $5500 before they would do any work(Yeah, not falling for that again. BTW, that would be a total out of pocket of $14k so far. $11k to Tuff Shed and $3k for cement and STILL NO GARAGE). This also comes after I repeatedly called/emailed his office, another office in MI, two out of state offices and the HQ in Denver over the course of three months and got NO response. All I wanted was to know what was happening, why I hadn't gotten my building and where was my money?...Again, the delay is not the issue...the complete lack of post sale communication is problem. Also, by "work together" do you mean for me to keep giving you money while your company does nothing and ignores it's customers? At least he replied to something though and if Yelp had fractional stars I would raise my review by 1/16 because the communication has been non-existent for so long. Every bit of this situation is the fault of Tuff Shed and Tuff Shed only. Don't act like you're doing anyone a favor when they're paying you and there's a contract. read more

I decided I needed a shed for more storage so I proceeded to the internet and came across Tuff Shed and realized I could design my own shed. After my efforts I really didn't know what I needed to build or the skill. I decided to call the company and to my surprise I spoke with a human. The salesman I got was Robert Sheridan. He was amazing. He helped me step by step to build my perfect shed. Of course when it came time to build it something came up and construction had to stop. Yes a little snag but as I reached out to Robert he assured me that it would be straightened out and it was and a few weeks later I had my perfect she shed by Tuff Shed. Really pleased with Tuff Shed...Robert knows his product, offered some good suggestions, created easy to understand drawings and schematics. Once ordered, install/factory rep were in touch about install date. Installers were very conscientious, actually they were not happy about quality of some wood components, insisted on higher quality replacement pieces before continuing the work. The factory provided these in less than 24 hours and the build continued the next day, finishing pretty much on schedule. Very pleased with the whole experience...likely using them again a year or so from now for a Studio building. read more

Robert, the sales person in Grand Rapids was very prompt in contacting me and replying. The design and ordering process was easy. The shed was built and delivered in sections. Jim and Mel were very efficient and professional in putting the shed where I hoped and wanted. Very good craftsmanship. There was a small hitch in the delivery, and the production supervisor Devontae called me personally to explain and make arrangements. Robert Sheridan was great to work with and very helpful in designing my new shed. While the shed was supposed to take 6 weeks to install, they called me and offered to install it one week after ordering! I couldn't make that date but got it installed the following week.
