I just had a shed built in my backyard. It is my second shed purchased from Tuff Shed. I am so very pleased with the Clearstory model. It has exceeded my expectations. That said, what truly impressed me was the efficiency and speed the men took to build the shed. They wasted no time to unload and begin building immediately. Although building the shed went very fast, that did not mean that the skill and craftsmanship was sacrificed. The builders, Eddie, Will and Frank were excellent communicators and kept me informed of the progress even as I watched. What truly impressed me was the attention to detail. After the trim was nailed and caulked, the installers went around the structure and touched up areas where the paint was scuffed up or had a visible nail. Top Notch! I also want to call out James Crawford who offered excellent customer service. When I called Tuff Shed, I wasn't sure I articulated what I wanted. James listened to me as I described what my needs were for the shed. He helped me (virtually) build my shed based on what I needed and wanted. And after I put in the order, I decided to modify the initial order and add another element (Transom windows), James was quick to accommodate my request and make the change. Lastly, James also recommended the company who installed the stone gravel pit where the shed would be placed on. THAT team were simply great. They arrived on time and took no time in building the base where the shed would go. The attached photos is proof of the collaborative efforts between myself, James Crawford, and the building team. I can't recommended these guys enough. If I were to move and needed a new shed, I know who to call. Thank you. read more

We were desperately in need of a shed and I knew the only option for us was Tuff Shed - they've always had a great reputation and almost every shed I see in good condition is a Tuff Shed. I was online looking at models and design options when Tuff Shed Rep James Crawford called me to ask if I wanted any help with the process. I'm so glad I said yes because he ensured I understood all the options available to me, what benefits they added, and that I was staying within my budget. The order process was a breeze and so pleasant thanks to James!! Then came scheduling delivery, which was just as easy with such a quick turnaround thanks to the Tuff Shed team. Installation was also fantastic. After arriving and confirming they had all the right details ready to go, William and his colleague got the shed together in record time, checking in with me along the way to ensure the location and even height of the shelves were to my liking. Once they completed install, William went through the details of the shed with me and made sure I knew of each feature. I was already convinced that Tuff Shed was the brand for us, but this service has blown me away. I won't stop recommending them!! If you need a high quality shed, this is your sign to go with Tuff Shed! read more

James C. is a great sales person. I trusted him to recommend certain designed features and he was patient during a point I wanted to changes some of the features. He worked tireless over one weekend communicating with me on a regular basis. He was extremely responsive each and every time I reached out with questions. The shed was delivered yesterday and installed by Fernando and his helper. Both arrived on time and kept me informed several times during the install on their progress. Everyone has been extremely professional and courteous. I now have a beautiful shed built to my specifications as a home based business workshop. I'm overjoyed and very satisfied with everyone involved. The entire process from customizing my shed online, getting financing documents created and approved online, working with James on the final design, and having the shed installed in one day was a very positive and pleasant experience. I highly recommend this company, and especially this local Maryland-based crew and office. read more

The entire experience with Tuff Shed in Baltimore (Catonsville) was terrific. Our Sales Design Consultant, James Crawford, was professional, friendly, and accessible. Everything you want in a salesperson. He worked through several design changes before we arrived at the final design. Once the shed was ordered, manufacturing was done quickly and installation was scheduled promptly. The installation team, led by William, was on time for scheduled installation. They were friendly, professional and quick with the installation. They did a complete cleanup of the site when the job was done. The installation team took the time to explain the installation and building features completely. They went above and beyond addressing some cosmetic enhancements that were not required in the contract. Going above and beyond for the customer. I would recommend Tuff Shed to anyone looking for looking for a storage building or detached office at home. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Tuff Shed. James Crawford made the transition very easy for me. He handled the beginning process for me, impressing me with his professionalism, his friendliness, and his willingness to make sure all of my needs were met. The crew who assembled the shed were just as great, assembling the structure with no muss, no fuss and were just as friendly. Those I dealt with to help get the necessary permits made the transition easy. And in the end, there was James again, helping me correct what I did not order and assisting in getting the necessary adjustments to my shed taken care of. I have already recommended James and Tuff Shed to neighbors and will highly recommend to anyone they deal with the professional and prompt service of Tuff Shed. Update: I'm so Excited. Three weeks ago, I met with James Crawford--see above. Today, my Tuff Shed arrived and was installed. The crew sent me an ETA and arrived on time. The two guys that did the installation confirmed everything with me first, worked flexibly with me to put the shed where I wanted it, and they were impeccable and worked quickly! The entire install process took maybe 3 hours and that included painting. At the end, they walked me through it and made sure everything was what I ordered--it was! Later, after the work crew was gone, James checked in to make sure I was happy with everything and to review next steps. I'm elated and so privileged to have worked with James Crawford from start to finish! This entire experience has been gold star (infact-five gold stars)! read more

Had chosen Tuff Shed for quality construction. Spoke with James Crawford about what I had designed using online site. He was quickly able to help lower the cost of shed thru questions that clarified my access location to install space & nearby access to electrical plug. The sales process was not intense or pushy towards upselling me into other additional items. Even though I called back after discussion with spouse, with additional questions, James was friendly & courteous. We called back same day for third time to buy our Tuff Shed - James Crawford made that whole process more pleasant then experienced in other past product purchases. Would ask for James Crawford again but don't expect to need to buy another shed! read more

My wife and I had the pleasure to meet James Crawford. He helped us with the purchase of our new shed 10x15 feet, choosing the design and the color. Working with him and his crew was amazing. They are professional. We are very pleased with the job they have done building the shed. I wanted to also thank Eddy, which is one of the installers and his co-worker. They worked hard on building the shed as it was going to start raining. Everything was done at the time and day they had anticipated. Once again we are pleased with the job. The installation was a success, we are enjoying it. We strongly recommend Tuff Shed and James Crawford. He can help you chose the right shed you need. You will not be disappointed. read more

I had an extremely positive Tuff Shed experience, which spanned the design and ordering process, the final product, and the design consultant James Crawford. I would recommend Tuff shed wholeheartedly and intend to employ them again for future projects. I had a planned delay between ordering and installation and during this pause they were active in checking in on me, making sure I had everything I needed, and maintained an open and active line of communication. After the shed was completed and a few issues were identified due to weather on the day of the install, they were quick to respond and send follow up crews to make the necessary fixes. read more

The gentleman was very nice and answered all our questions going above and beyond to show us why visiting them was the right decision over going to a less specialized store. We were greeted quickly, despite him being on the phone when we came in and he got to us in a timely fashion. Showed us why their product is superior to anyone else (including the Amish.) And their estimated delivery time was incredible. We will definitely be placing our order as soon as our landlord gives us the green light. They even take care of all the permits and HOA stuff. Truly the best shed company. read more

I would definitely recommend them. I spent a month checking local availability, then I stumbled across Tuff Shed. The idea of completely customizing grew on me very quickly. Unfortunately, it was difficult for me to make the decisions with all the options they provide. I dealt with James, he had to make me several designs, and send me multiple quotes.
