So Glad I Found C.Lee of Simplify You!…read more C.Lee is a real gem. Working with her during my home renovation was incredible - she had such a great way of envisioning our space and suggesting things that I never would have thought of on my own. Every idea she suggested was spot on, practical and very clever, and perfectly fit how we actually live. She came up with the idea of turning an inaccessible corner of our kitchen into a cozy pet food nook in the mudroom, which was a great use of what would otherwise be wasted space. She also suggested converting our old coat closet into a pantry when we expanded the kitchen, and it's been a game-changer. She encouraged me to rethink the original plans for stove and microwave placements, which was 100% the right call. All those considerations and smart suggestions have made such a huge difference in how our home feels and functions. Now that everything's done, I can honestly say this renovation exceeded all of my expectations. The kitchen, especially. It's beautiful, it flows perfectly, and it just works. C.Lee really listened, and her ideas helped make the whole house feel more intentional and comfortable. I promise, if you are doing a major renovation, using her "plan review" services will pay off tenfold. Highly recommend!

My family spent 2 years living abroad and to prepare for that trip we dumped our entire 3 story townhouse into a 10 sq foot storage unit. Since getting back, we've spent the past 5 months taking out boxes, processing them, and sorting them into our new smaller apartment. The frustration of this experience was ever present - as soon as we got the apartment in a good place we'd go get 10 more boxes and restart the whole cycle, leaving us feeling underwater and overwhelmed. We also have a 5 year old and a 6 month old, so the time we were able to invest in the house was always limited and at the end of an exhausting day. Before hiring C.Lee I would have guessed we had another 2-3 months of clutter hell before we would be in the clear. Then we hired Simplify You, and everything changed immediately. When we hired C.Lee we assumed there would be 2-3 day-long sessions to get the last mountain of boxes down and our home finally FINALLY orgainzed. Instead, C. Lee came with one assistant Amy, and in just 8 hours of hard work between them, me, and my wife, we managed to process and store the final 25 or so boxes from our previously bottomless storage unit, AND sort all the things we still had lying around, AND completely reorganize our kitchen, master walk in closet, bedroom, and kids bedroom. There were a few niggly things left over from that monster session, which C. Lee easily solved in a quick 3 hour follow up. So instead of spending 3 more months in box clutter hell, we instead spent 11 whirlwind hours with C.Lee and got the job done - meaning 1 hour of C.Lee + assistant time equaled about one WEEK of effort from just me and my wife alone. In addition to all the above I could write a volume on C.Lee and Amy's professionalism, upbeat attitude, ability to keep us going when processing difficult childhood memories, and raw organizational talents, but if I keep going on for much longer people will start to think this review is a plant or something. If you are at all struggling under the weight of clutter or disorder at home, then you should hire Simplify You. For a fair price you will reap extraordinary value and shed a mountain of stress, anxiety, and frustration. I cannot recommend C.Lee and her staff highly enough, and will be recommending her services to anyone who sounds like they feel even remotely like we did before her whirlwind day changed our lives.

I had no idea where to start to try to get the place under control, and their arts and craft supplies were spilling out all over the house as well. Becca provided us with an estimated timeframe and even came in under it. She not only decluttered the space, but separated items into trash and donate bins, reorganized everything we had, labeled it all, and came up with some really innovative solutions for my kids' markers and craft supplies. Truly the best money we've ever spent. My husband kept saying we could do it ourselves, but honestly -- who has the time or emotional bandwidth for that? And Becca came up with solutions we never would have thought of. Our space has been operating smoothly for several weeks now. It's so easy for the kids to access their things and clean up afterward, and everyone is happier. Items are actually being used instead of getting lost in the jumble, and they're being put away quickly. It has eliminated so much clutter in our house, and that makes all of our brains happier! We're already planning to have her come back to work on a few more projects in other areas of our home, and we've recommended her to all of our friends.

We turned to Mindful Organizing and have had an incredible experience. We have worked with Sue to tackle several areas over the past several months. Each time, she makes a project that feels overwhelming seem possible from the get-go. She doesn't push rigid methodologies, but rather helps create sanity and order while adapting to an approach that works for us. And wow, is she efficient! We get more done in a four-hour session with her than we could accomplish in a day or two if we tried to tackle it on our own. She's helpful, motivating, and practical, which we love. Most notably, she is non-judgmental. Her approach has always been shame-free and blame-free, which makes the whole process so much more comfortable and productive. We have loved working with her.

Pam and her helpers got me going and the effects have lasted for four years now. In fact, my basement has remained almost spotless since there was a place for everything I had left. I will admit I still have two boxes of papers left upstairs, but that's it and one day I will sit down and scan them. Why am I keeping paper anymore???? For my attention challenged friends, here's the short version:…read more If you need help purging, finding the right home for your items, creating systems that actually make sense, and adding labels so everything stays that way, hire Room to Bloom. If you are overwhelmed and craving the peace that comes from less clutter and everything having a designated place, it is worth it. Long version: We bought our home in 2020, and it was a full gut renovation. We are still living only on the first floor, while the upstairs remains mostly unfinished except for a small office. Our house currently has no linen closet, and we are sharing one small bathroom as a family of five. Because of this, we have been storing items in places that do not really make sense, simply out of necessity. At one point, I bought a large IKEA cabinet and put it in one of the kids' rooms just to store towels and sheets. With a family of five, we do a lot of laundry and accumulate a lot of stuff. We also have a side entrance that slowly became a dumping ground for anything we wanted out of sight. Every six months we would clean it, only for it to turn back into a junk room pretty quickly. Since we are not using the upstairs yet, we largely ignored the problem. Over the summer, I had a vision for the space with a custom bench/hall-tree and storage, so I bought multiple IKEA cabinets. A few family members had passed away or downsized over the years, and I had inherited many seasonal items and kitchen items. The volume alone felt paralyzing. We got the floors done and the cabinets in place and even after multiple passes of purging, I still felt overwhelmed by stuff and stuck. One of our kids has special needs and she often goes into the younger kids room and dumps out baskets and empties the book shelves. It's hard to keep up and I felt totally defeated. I decided to ask for help and I'm so glad I did! One of the most helpful parts was having an impartial, logical person there to talk through decisions without emotion or pressure. Krysta helped me move items out quickly so I did not second-guess myself, and she reorganized spaces in ways I never would have thought of. She also consolidated items so things that belonged together finally lived in the same place. She brought her trusty label maker, which made all the difference in creating systems that will actually last. We have a long dresser in the dining room that also turned into junk drawers and randomness. After collected all the baskets and storage bins we could use for the foyer, we began gathering items that didn't belong in other rooms and got to work. We already had a craft cabinet in the foyer, so she said it made sense to move all craft supplies out of the kids' room and into one centralized location. It was her idea to switch out which cabinet was designated for crafts and games and it ended up making much more sense. She also solved the recurring problem in the kids room by bringing arts and craft related items out and storing other items away safely so our other child couldn't access them anymore. We designated drawers for non-Christmas gift wrapping, bday party supplies, paint, games, flashlights, candles, light bulbs, beads, crayons, markers, etc., shelves for kitchen items not used daily, paper, everything has a home! While I'm not sharing pics of the kids room, I do have many of the foyer (I still have to paint the cabinet doors and get them hung- it's on the list lol) and the donate pile. If you have been considering hiring a professional organizer, do not hesitate. Krysta accomplished in one day what I had been trying to do for months, honestly closer to years. I am so grateful for her help. Thank you, Krysta!!!
