I called Worldwide this morning at 8:24 am and was told that someone will call be back today in 10 to 15 minutes and as of this posting (4 pm) no one as called me back. Just heard from Worldwide and we have another appointment date setup. Worldwide had a crew come out on August 13th and crew leader Larry did a good job and within 21/2 hours completed the work needed to my basement.

Wanda heard my plea that we needed someone right away, and sent a worker out that same day to survey the issues. Mike was timely and knowledgeable. He pointed out issues and make logical conclusions about them. It started to rain hard while he was there, and we got to watch his theories play themselves out in real time - it was like God wanted us to have assurities that we were heading on the right path with the fixes. The team moved other projects around and started that very same week on ours. Due to supply issues (thanks to Covid) they couldn't get all the PVC piping they needed and had to spend the whole Friday morning searching for supplies, so they didn't finish at the time they said they would, but I was just so grateful that they were working with us so diligently to help our sale close on time. The key broke off in the lock to the lower level access door, and Charles, the project manager, replaced that without being asked! Charles and Wanda (who scheduled the project and helped me on the phone) had great follow up and truly demonstrated a care for our needs. This was a stellar experience for me, and a real answer to prayer on what could have been a disastrous experience for me as a Realtor, and for my seller. I requested an extended warranty because the driveway was so thin on one end. 2 months after the warranty expired the front walkway started to crumble.

In terms of overall satisfaction, I rate them the highest for any contracting service for my home that I have used. A friend of mine has used him for his current and previous homes roofing. First, they are low pressure, helpful, and thorough. They took care of a problem on my old roof four years ago by writing a letter to my insurance company that I had no structural problems with my old roof it was just algae making my roof look like it had depressed some areas form the air in need of repair. They did not charge me for this so when it was time to re-roof my house they had built a lot of good will. In August, Robert Hamel, the owner, inspected my current roof, and attic explained my options well including improving the poor ventilation in my soffits. He also inspected my gutters for wear and proper slope. Second, they are a small local business that has been in business since at least the early 80s so you get personalized service. Bradley Company is not an out of the area company that hires a lot of temporary people when they get busy that may not be as good as their regular workers. The foreman on the job Tony has worked with Robert for years. You have much confidence that they will be around in the long-run and that their business and customer base is local. Third, best price and warranty. I got estimates from five roofers and they were the best both in terms of price and installation quality. Robert Hamel is a four star shingle master roofer and he gave me a 15 year workmanship warranty on my CertainTeed roof. No other offer that I received included a 15 year workmanship warranty. I checked with the Maryland home improvement commission and they have not had a complaint since 2005. The record of no complaints for 12 years with excellent personal attention, pricing, and workmanship shows me an exemplary record of customer satisfaction. A great company to do business with. My new roof looks very nice.

Joe responded after a few days saying that an availability opened up and should be able to wash my deck in a couple of weeks. He kept me informed the whole time. I was given all the instructions and what to expect before their visit. On the scheduled date, their crew came and power washed the deck thoroughly. Next day, they promptly showed up and stained it. Also, they were to power wash my deck and seal it. The windows needed special attention because spiders build webs in the windows then poop all over them. It's really gross, and I especially hired Grime Busters to take care of this problem. I specified this as the reason I was getting my house pressure washed. As such, I was told to remove all of my window screens to ensure the best results. So when they were finished, imagine my anger when I looked in my upstairs window and it looked as if water hadn't touched the window at all. OK. We all make careless mistakes. I called and someone came back out to inspect the job of the previous person. Agreed they didn't do a good job, but he didn't come back with a pressure washer to fix the problem! He asked me to use my pressure washer...uhh, WHAT? That's not all. The original washer also left whole areas of my deck unwashed then sealed over them. You could look and tell the angle he washed the stairs and balusters - imagine the sun casting a shadow is the best way I can describe it. So of course when he sealed the deck, whole areas of the deck didn't get sealed, because they weren't washed properly. I was also told the seal would last (assuming proper washing, of course) for 3-5 years. Even on the areas I felt were properly washed, rain water stopped beading on the deck within weeks. The last thing is they were to restain my white deck railings, and they did this, but sloppily. I have white wood railings on white (pvc? plastic-like) balusters. The white stain for the wood can be seen on the plastic -like balusters. In all, while I appreciated their attitude and they were very respectful, I paid $2500 to have a job done well and it was not. And returning without the equipment to correct the problem was pretty inexcusable.

The new appointment was for the next week. When the day came, NO SHOW. I called and the lady told me that their other estimator was in Florida and asked to reschedule again. I said no thank you. How can they not even get estimations scheduled right. It's your first impression with the customer. Also, if someone is dealing with a basement flooding issue, this is not the kind of response you'd want to deal with. Do not recommend.

Received an estimate and paid over $10K to waterproof basement (foundation leak) in February 2016…read more Biggest sell was the "Lifetime Guarantee" for materials and workmanship. Flooding immediately from the garage door. They refuse to fix it because Anne Arundel County installed the grate in front of the garage door, with a drain pipe leading to a sump pump just inside the garage. After 6 years of floods, I finally recognized the problem: Action had removed the drain pipe and replaced it with drain tile that cannot handle heavier rains, causing the grate to overflow and flood the garage. Action never documented their visits, so this summer I tried something different: I made an appointment saying I had additional work, not warranty work, done. When the inspector showed up, I let HIM identify the problem, pointing out the issue was the drain tile that replaced the County's pipe can't handle the load. The inspector then refused to honor the warranty--again--but offered to have an Action foreman and crew come out and "fix my problem" for $1,000 cash. Still nothing in writing. Wondering how "corporate" was implicated (was this unofficial policy--avoiding honoring Lifetime Guarantees, potentially saving tens of thousands in repeat work?, or would the owners be upset that its employees were performing unpermitted and unauthorized work for untaxed income?). I received a text with the name of the foreman coming on the weekend and waited. They arrived in company trucks and uniforms. I took pictures and told them to leave. I went to the police station and tried to file a complaint but they said to report it to the MHIC first. I did and, again, waited. Today, the MHIC rejected the complaint as being 3 years past the original work. Time to file that police complaint and hire an attorney. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
