I sometimes have auto work done in Nogales Sonora with excellent results, so I take the Tufesa bus from Phx to Nogales which is a 3 hr. trip - it's comfortable and efficient. ONCE years ago I had a street dog that adopted me and I canceled my flight to take the dog with me - we were stranded for a day in Tepic because Tufesa refused us service because they don't accept pets. I had to wait at the Tepic Bus Terminal half a day before I found a driver that would take me and the pet (in luggage). I was grateful, but that bus stopped at every city all the way to Santa Ana where I had to change buses for Nogales. The dog had major abandonment issues, so yipped often esp. when openning luggage - she made it and has lived a blessed life with us and, also, she gets to visit her home town of P.V. when we driver there most summers. This dog is always with me and has survived her issues, so I have been blessed with her - I do hope she lives forever!!!!

NO...do not use. In Kingman AZ this bus driver was driving reckless with no regard to passenger or public safety.

Bus driver was driving reckless trying to pass and cut off vehicles that were backed up for emergency response vehicles.

Friendly service and decent prices for trips to Mexico and other US stops. You can also purchase tickets over the phone.

“However, the bus charter is a Mexican Bus line, we were the only english speaking people on the bus (except the bus driver was bilingual).”

We rented this bus for my sister-in-law's 50th birthday party and it did not disappoint. Sound system was great as we rocked out to our personal Spotify playlist. Absolutely loved and utilized both stripper poles. Probably not wise considering all of us were in our 40s and 50s. Once in a while, you gotta toss caution to the wind and just go wild. They had plenty of water and ice on board and they greeted us with birthday balloons and a carpet for the birthday girl to enter the vehicle. There were only 10 of us along with a cooler that we brought and some food but it could've easily have accommodated 18 to 20. This business could not have been any easier to deal with. They responded to all of my questions timely, and sent pictures of the party bus when asked. Jacob Transportation, thank you so much for making our day absolutely memorable! Birthday girl was happy and so were we!

We could have squeezed a few more but this left room for dancing lol They provided the plenty of mixers and glasses for us as well as candy. We did bring some of our own liquor and I believe they provided some bubbles for us oh and ice! The owner was so accommodating and worked with us when planning for our event. We were picked up, taken to dinner, out to a bar and then rode around for a bit. The driver even let us stop by the house when we forgot something and someone needed to go home. I can't recommend them enough esp for big groups. We had an amazing time and I'm so glad you were available on such short notice! Hope to work with you again if we're back in town.

I have done this Valley Metro/Sky Train combo a couple of times now. If you ride the Valley Metro…read moreto the stop at 44th street and Washington, you can exit and take the escalators to the Sky Harbor Sky Train which will take you to the terminals. I only live a couple of miles from a Valley Metro light rail stop, so I can lift or uber over for cheap if I need to use this system last minute. Usually when I am doing a 2-4 day trip, I park over at one of the airport shuttle locations outside of Sky Harbor airport and ride in. If I am going on a long trip overseas, I will ask someone to drop me off and pick me up. This light rail option is my last resort option if no one is available or if I just don't feel like paying to park at the airport. The nice thing about the Valley Metro/Sky Train is that it is cheap. It is only $2 to ride the light rail. Yes, you are dealing with the interesting characters that ride the light rail if you go this route. But it is a small price to pay to make a budget friendly trip. The bad thing about using this is that you cannot leave your car overnight at a Valley Metro park-n-ride. So leaving your car there and going away for a few days is not an option. Unless you want to come back and find out that your car was towed. The other thing is that it can take awhile to get to the airport on the light rail. So you have to plan ahead to make sure you arrive at your gate on time. Both the Valley Metro and Sky Train run 24/7. The Valley Metro runs less trains overnight.

The SkyTrain is my jam! I didn't use it for many trips to AZ and I'm not sure why. Did it not exist…read moreyet? Was I just clueless? For those of you that don't know, it's completely free unlike the NYC SkyTrain. And once you get to 44th Street Station and off airport property, you can get an Uber or a Lyft for like half the price. I always call it from the Crowne Plaza across the street so I have an A/C spot to sit if I need it to wait for my ride.
