Supposed to be a Big Tater. The order looked small, was cold, skimpy on the scrambled eggs, and looks like it was slopped into container.

Called ahead to order and was told 15 minutes. Arrived at the drive thru about 25 minutes later and was told order wasn't ready and to park and they would bring it out. Waited another 15 minutes and they finally brought the order out. I had ordered the Big Tater but it looked more like a Small Tater. There might've been half of a scrambled egg in it, potatoes were cold, and the gravy was so cold it had a "skin" on it. It also looked like it had been slopped into the container. Food tasted mediocre at best. Very disappointed.

Several beers to choose from, but heavily stocked toward Pale Ale and IPA, not my choice. Served quickly. Waitress/bar tender was very attentive to our beers, but not overly so. Food was very good and reasonably priced. It was raining for our visit, but they have a nice outdoor area for drier weather. Worth a visit!

So we walked a few businesses away and discovered The Broken Axle. We were quickly seated and provided menus and discovered, it IS his restaurant, he's AXLE! Hilarious. We met his mom and dad who are the owners. My group of five ordered various items. Tacos, a hamburger, sliders, a chicken wrap and the fried buffalo chicken mac wrap. Along with our mains we had various sides; chips, fries, onion rings and Tetris shaped tater tots. With the amount of variety I fully expected a delay in receiving our order. NOPE!! All the food arrived at the same time and everyone's meals were hot! We all agree that this was the favorite meal of our road trip. We found out later that they sponsor a yearly music concert with headline names!! WOW! This year is Joe Nichols. Fantastic.

I have a lot of wonderful memories tied to this place. Back not too long ago, this was a curb-hop service, where ladies came out, took your order, and hooked a tray onto your car window with all the goods. Lots of memories of my Grandmother taking me here in her old dark blue Monte Carlo (The car with ash trays still built into the doors). There's a lot more items added to the menu, but my go-to's are still the slaw dogs and fries. West Virginia slaw dogs are hotdogs topped with coney sauce, minced coleslaw, and mustard. Delicious. Nobody makes them better. Nobody. My brother and I stopped here shortly after we buried my Grandmother to relive some nostalgia from our childhood and dedicate one more Parkway dog to her. Our server was attentive, and very kind. We were a little scatter brained, so I appreciated her patience. The building has changed a little, and it now has indoor seating, but it's still the same old food. By the way, the mozzarella sticks here are amazing. I don't know what else they deep fry in their grease, but the sticks came out with a hint of sweetness to them, almost like they were hand battered in donut mix. It was a delight to the taste-buds. Thank-you, Parkway for the wonderful memories. You're not fancy, gimmicky, and may not even be the best in the state, but you're still great in my books.

We sat at the bar and read all of the reviews about an hour+ wait on food. Ours took about 35 mins to arrive and it wasn't busy at all. Be prepared to be on that southern time. The food was good, though. My boyfriend loved his chicken Philly. I thought the buffalo chicken cheese fries were pretty good. The chicken pieces were square and had a slightly strange texture, to me, but the fries and sauce were good. My fried chicken sandwich wasn't anything exciting, but it was hot and tasty. The entire ceiling and surrounding walls are covered in dollar bills that people have signed over the years, plus some local sports memorabilia. The parking lot isn't too big, luckily we walked from across the street and didn't have to worry about it. Trail rider friendly and they have a decent local beer selection plus domestics.

The staff treated me like they had known me forever -- super friendly, attentive, and just genuinely nice. The food surprised me in the best way. Everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned, and the portions were perfect. You can tell they actually care about what they serve. The drinks were great too -- strong enough, but still really balanced. What I liked the most was the atmosphere. It's the kind of spot where you can go for a casual dinner, grab drinks with friends, or just unwind without feeling rushed. Good music, good energy, and good people. If you're looking for a place with great service, solid food, and a comfortable vibe, Keith's is definitely worth going back to. I'll be returning for sure.
