There's a huge maple tree in the 'adult only' sun terrace (its nice not having screaming kids interrupting your lunch) and from the front garden you get a lovely view of the South Downs. This establishment is in the AA pub guide so can get busy at weekends so if you're in a large group, it may be worth booking in advance.
