Really great company and service. They were very prompt--got us in the next day!--and did a fine job. The carpet was pretty awful; it's old, white and we have pets. He explained exactly what he would do, then got to work. He even used a black light to make sure where the urine stains were. He did a very thorough job and we even pretty fast about it. In a few hours we had a remarkably CLEAN carpet. To be honest, I would have been thrilled with "better" but the carpet looks like new. I am not complaining about actual work done, BUT DO NOT HIRE them!. They do not put things back together. They left my oven drawer out. I have severe health issues with my arms. When I asked them to come back. The worker told me to go to hell and then proceeded to tell me to never call them again. NO PROBLEM! Just warning the rest of you to never call them to start with. I'd like to add after looking around after it dried, whatever they used left a fine layer of white crystals on it- now I'm going to have to have the whole thing redone- DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE Also please note I'm the ONLY one to review their tile/grout cleaning! I also just discovered that they NEVER CLEANED THE 3 Walk in closets. I paid for 2000SQF and they are about 200SQF, you owe me money!! AND yes One of your employee did ask for a tip. I do want to say Omar was a very good employee, it was his superior who had the issues, right from the " I don' t move furniture before even thru the door!". Perhaps when booking an appointment you should start with that comment about furniture, I would have called around to find one that did,if I hadn' t moved out the heavy things yesterday , we would have been at more like 1500 sqf. Right from the initial contact things were not explained properly, so it not unreasonable to loose my temper over some thing as simple as an oven drawer that I physically could not handle. I hired Tucson Carpet Cleaning for a job on Friday, but we changed it to Monday which worked out better. The house belongs to a friend of mine and the carpet was in terrible, terrible shape. I knew that anyone that worked on it was not going to be able to get up all the animal stains (that had never attempted to be cleaned up), but if they could get the carpet and the stairs a bit nicer I would be happy. Frank expressed his doubts what he could do with such a contaminated carpet, but he went to work. He estimated an hour and half to get it cleaned up. After he a bit he called me up to look at what he had done so far (this is the scrubbing of the carpet in their dual process technique), I was amazed how much came up. He then then was going to treat it some more and do the regular carpet cleaning with extraction. In a little over an hour he had the bedroom, steps, and a small area done. He busted his butt over this, knowing I would be living in the room. I was amazed how much of the stains came up, in fact most of them came up. This carpet was a disaster! Now, it is far from new but this company gave it their all so if you think your carpet is beyond help, give them a call. You could be as surprised as I am. Lee Tinnin read more

My son just moved into a house near the University of Arizona and I called this company this morning. They were able to come today, clean the carpet and do it for a very reasonable price. When they started, the carpet looked like a mess. When they were through, it looked like a brand new carpet and my son's apartment is now liveable. This company gave great service, cleaned the carpets for a fair price and they came at the time they said they were going to come--so I didnt have to wait all day for them. Brandon just left after having spent 30 minutes cleaning my living room carpet. He did a great job - no complaints there. When he saw the space he told me that their minimum was $100 but he couldn't honestly charge me that and told me he'd do it for $60. We agreed on that. He went outside and came back in and told me that "the boss" said $75 was the minimum. I don't appreciate one person saying one price and then being overridden with another price. That's not fair practice. On that point alone I am not recommending them. On a good job and friendly service they're great. read more

I worked as a carpet cleaner long long ago. Leased my own equipment and made great money at it. Strange hours when you do it commercially. Thanks in no small part to the other two yelpers that reviewed this business, I chose Tucson Carpet Cleaning. Though the bill was about twice what I hoped for the old adage, you get what you pay for applies. Fair priced and unlike the guy that cleaned the carpets 9 months ago, when they dried this time the carpets were actually totally clean! We had some piddles from the min pins and one area that was in bad shape which offered him a challenge. I highly recommend these guys and am very pleased. read more

We had one bedroom and 2 small closets that needed carpet cleaning. I made an appointment with Tucson Carpet Cleaning. They quoted me a price ($80) over the phone but said it may change depending on the size of the room, which would be determined by the worker(s) upon arrival. They gave us a 3 hour window, 12-3pm, and showed at 2pm. There was only one guy, a pleasant young man. Even though there was little funiture (1 king bed) he would not move anything and told me he'd clean around the bed; so I we ended up moving it while he dragged his hoses from the truck thru the house to the bedroom. Note that the house door has to be open during this entire operation - and watch out for the truck exhaust as it does enter your house - depending the which way the wind is blowing. I would have thought that the cleaner might start by vacuuming the room, but that was not the case. Overall he took about 30 minutes steam cleaning the carpet which did look clean after. It took about 4 hours for the carpet to dry. We opted for the special "guard spay" as a final touch (for an extra $40), which we hope will be worth it. So basically $120 for 35 minutes or work, plus the time to "get the equipment ready" for a total time on 1 Hour. Main issue: they do not move any furniture; so if you're not ready or don't have the ability to move furniture around, you will get only some areas cleaned for your $. read more

I had Tucson carpet clean four rooms of carpet, two which were very stained, and a hand made Navajo Indian rug. The owner did a beautiful job. The Navajo rug had to be had washed, and he made it look like new. I highly recommend this company, and I will use them for all my future cleaning jobs. read more

I moved from Tucson to California and was coming back to Tucson to close out my lease. I needed the carpets cleaned on short notice. Out of many companies I contacted, JD was able to help me out and squeeze me in. He was very helpful! I did not get on the road until late morning and I had to cancel the appointment. JD was so kind to squeeze me into and I felt terrible!! He was very understanding and made me feel relieved. I ended up renting one of those Rug Doctor's machines which did not work, but that is another Yelp for another company :-) Thank you JD for being there when a gal needed you. TCC did same-day cleaning of my carpets after another (recommended) company had shown up, and all of a sudden wanted twice what I had been thoroughly quoted over the phone, leaving me in a very panicked situation. Tried to sell extras which I didn't buy and maybe I should have as it left a great deal to be desired and also left bulges in one room which he said would go away but only lessened after it dried. After reviewing JD's website, and Video, we purchased his cleaning service for our home. He arrived in an old beat up white van, nothing like the equipment represented on his website; did not place any protection along our doorways, corners to protect them so the hoses would not chafe the paint. When we mentioned the "One free room cleaning, when you mention this video" on this website, He dropped his head, was clearly put off that we even mentioned it. Clearly he was not motivated for keeping regular customers happy or any repeat business. Less than mediocre cleaning service. I thought I'd leave some honest feedback, because I read the reviews before I called them, and I wish had known what my experience would have been like. First, I will say, they were courteous on the phone and in person, on time, and reasonably price. However, I just was not happy with the results. Our carpets are actually pretty clean, but we do have four kids, so we have a few spills and areas of high traffic. After the tech had cleaned the carpets, I noticed some areas that still looked dirty, he went over them again, and they looked a bit better. There were a couple "stains" that I noticed, and I was told that I had "permanent issues." Within ten minutes of him being gone, I had totally taken care of the "issues" with a five dollar bottle of supermaket carpet cleaner. One red stain was washable marker, I could have gotten it up with a damp cloth. There were about small three spots of milk from my daughter's bottle that had dried on top of the carpet. I easily got that up as well. I guess I was just frustrated that there was no attempt made to get up the stains. read more

After being given quite a story of how amazing his cleaning is and setting up carpet cleaning an appointment, I was then informed they will no longer be servicing in my area because they are just too busy. He was a nice man at first, then upon rescheduling it seemed to be an inconvenience and now to cancel less than 24 hours from my appointment, YES, this is a way to have the exceptional business he speaks of. I contacted this company to see about having them come out to clean our large living room (which is always considered two rooms by carpet cleaners) and apply odor removal for a few pet accidents. I was told the price of the odor removal and it seemed very fair. Regarding the price to have the two rooms cleaned, he would not quote me. It took me about five minutes of explaining that we only had two rooms to clean and asking what it would cost for him to finally tell me it was a three-room minimum of $99. Before he finally got clear with me he was telling me to just have the guys come out and tell me what it could cost after they did it. This was unacceptable to me and he was not happy about that. I don't appreciate getting the run around, especially regarding something so cut and dry. You have one room to clean, the price is 'this much', two rooms to clean, it's 'this much', and so on. What put me over the edge is when I told him thank you and I would call back if I could not find another same-day service and he said, "Well good luck with that". Throughout this frustrating conversation I had never once been rude to him. This lack of respect for your customers won't get your anywhere with me. I will never use this company. read more

Due to Paul E's review, I decided to call TCC to clean my carpets. I figured that someone who knew the business, would know what he was talking about. TCC did an EXCELLENT job cleaning my carpets. I moved in a year and a half ago, and thought the carpets looked clean. They were more soiled than I realized and after TCC finished, they became a shade lighter! They were Clean, clean, clean! And the carpets dried within a day. I had the deluxe service done, and paid extra for them to move furniture and replace them with styrofoam underneath, except for the permanent heavy pieces, because I wanted the floors cleaned to the wall and UNDER everything. I also requested carpet protectorant, for which I paid extra. I didn't mind, because their product doesn't just lay on top of the carpet, but bonds with the yarn and will help repel dirt and stain. They next time I clean the carpets, I won't have to pay so much, because I will just have them cleaned. The technicians were polite and accommodating and gave me excellent results.--AND they were on time. read more

Frank with Tucson Carpet Cleaning was horrible to work with. He came into my home and started telling me stuff like, I will need to charge you extra for these dirt stains and it will cost an extra $35. I agreed to pay the extra money for two rooms but when he started telling me that since I had cats, he was going to have to charge me extra for that because it will get all over his machines and on himself. He told me I needed to vacuum to save money. It just didn't seem like he wanted to work. I was upset and told him I didn't know about the extra price ahead of time and I didn't like extra charges being sprung on me when he got there. I had all my stuff off the floor and he told me he was going to leave and not work with me. I couldn't believe he walked out, leaving me with all my furniture and everything off the floors like that. I was stunned. The owner did call me and apologize and was mortified that their employee treated me that way. read more
