Due to the blatant raving reviews, we chose Zerorez to clean our carpets before we were getting a brand new couch delivered. Our technician was Brayden. We expressed concerns over the smell and Brayden guaranteed a more expensive treatment would eliminate said smell. After a day or two after treatment, the smell remained. When I reached out to the company, they said they could send him back out but if there was a lingering smell, we would be charged again to get rid of it. Mind you, at this point we were already $359 + tip down and the issue wasn't resolved. I felt and still feel this is a crooked practice as the original issue wasnt resolved with what was supposed to be a guarantee fix said by Brayden. Someone named Josh reached out from the company, wanted to know how our experience went, asked if we were told about a 'Plan B' when my fiance signed the papers but we weren't. Brayden told my fiancé he was just signing paperwork just to acknowledge the work was done. It's great that the community seems to benefit from this company based on the reviews but given that we now have to hire another company to fix what a 5 star company couldn't with $374, feels absurd. read more

I have used Zerorez Tucson a few times for both carpet cleaning and tile/grout cleaning. I like that they don't use a soap solution and there is no residue. They may use a pre spray for heavy spots. I was initially disappointed this recent last time, because some of the dirty spots in front of chairs a nd heavy traffic areas didn't come out. Althogh he did a great job on two area rugs that were very dirty. They always send out an evaluation email after service. When that came I responded with my disappointmet. I received a call and an offer to send another technician out to see if they could improve the carpet. They came out, readdressed the areas, and it came out great like it has in the past. No additional charge. May have been a problem with the equipment for the previous appt. Their grout cleaning is great, too. Makes the floor look brand new. So I commend them for their service check up and follow-up and wanting to get the job done right, to the satisfaction of the customer. Every technician they have sent out has been courteous, pleasant, and works to please. They have always been on time or early. I felt I was up sold, though the technician was respectful and explained the reason behind my quoted price doubling . He acted it was a health danger to inhale the urine. Since this was a newly purchased home we had no background on the occupants we went with the addition cost. The carpet is definitely cleaner but the product he used left a residue behind that leaves the carpet stif.The other thing is the wetness and drying time. I had my title cleaned and sealed that part of the job was fair but damaged the walls in two places. The damage was small near the tile but nevertheless damaged. I tried to same money and didn't use Steamy Concepts. I also had light colored sofa and one chair cleaned. They could done a better job cleaning the sofa and chair in my opinion. The carpet in had them clean took 6 week and when they bought it back it was folded which is hard on the backing. The worst part of the whole experience was the fact that the carpet smells like a wet dog after bringing it back. I am updating what was a bad review from a bad job but it seems to be an anomalous incident and was just that particular technician. The manager Josh reached out to us first thing Monday and he obviously really cares about customers and the company. He made it right today and came back out personally with one of his best guys to make sure it was done right and help out. The Tucson Zerorez went above and beyond to make us happy after a bad experience. My carpets look great now, they got the stains out and they look spotless and white again. Worse than than when we started. On July 9th we had Zerorez come out to clean our carpets. At the beginning, the service was good. It seemed that they were fast, and clean. We were wrong. Once the carpet dried we had new stains from their equipment. One stain even got in my bed. I'm assuming he let a machine rest there while he was cleaning. When we called to see if they could come back, and at least check it out, a chihuahua sounding lady denied any plausibility that that could have been them. I confirmed pricing 2x with Zerorez prior to cleaning my carpets. We'd been customers since 2019. The technician came, told me the price was nearly DOUBLE and that there had been an "error in the system". The technician was not willing to keep the original price quote, which I wrote down in a notebook I keep when booking appointments for service folks. I called the manager (who is not the owner as I found out) and he was not willing to keep the original price. He was not willing to keep the original price quote either. The owner, as I have now learned, is Scott Arkon, not Ryan Merrill as I was told by the first technician. The technician was somewhat rude, did a terrible job on my bedroom carpet (was only in the room 10 minutes), so I had to have it redone. In talking with neighbors in my HOA, I learned that Zerorez does this - "bait and switch". A neighbor who owns a large cleaning company said she will never recommend Zerorez to anyone from now on. Now all 169 homes in my neighborhood have been warned about Zerorez. Our HOA President sent out a notice to ALL neighbors. Hands down no from us. Total bait and switch, we were quoted $350 based on the square footage of the carpet we needed cleaned and disclosed we had some pet stains. Technician came in and said that we needed more than a 'level one' cleaning based on his assessment (how?! he didn't pick up the carpet or a corner of it ) and let us know that it had permeated to the subfloor and we needed a 'level two' for $700 to eliminate the odor which he said he'd smelled when he smelled the floor. He subsequently also 'couldn't guarantee' that if we didn't do level two the pet stains and the odor would not be removed AND the level one price would no longer apply. It was a clearly preproduced sales pitch to upsell us so if we then did the lower level cleaning it would only be 100 dollars less!! BS (NOTE: we have always cleaned up after our dogs and the mishaps immediately; we noticed no odor and have had other people in the house who also have not.) Zero stars for Zerorez. Short story, bad to no communication, shoddy cleaning, if you have a vacation rental where your guests review you as a host, this is not the company for you. Long story, I live in Montana in the summer and with vacation rentals and annual rentals I need to use a cleaning company when I'm away. I called Zerorez and was able to schedule an appointment. They ask up front what is important to you and I gave them a list. Understand when you have a vacation rental that is fully furnished your requests are known and immediate. You don't have to guess what your needs are. The first thing out of my mouth was do not disturb the woman in the main house. What's to be cleaned is the guest house which has a different and private entry. I gave them my list of concerns, the furniture, using the washer and dryer for the sheets etc, let them know that there had been a dog, I asked that they turn the a/c back to 85 when they left. I also asked if they would change the a/c filter. This was stated WHILE making the appointment. The appointment was set between 11 and 1:00PM and I would receive a 30 minute call before their arrival. At 1:30 I called to ask if they had arrived. No one knew and I never got a call from the cleaning people. What they had done instead of reading their directions of entry is to open the door to the main house and walk in absolutely scaring, as you can imagine, my tenant in the front house who screamed and told the intruders to get out. They never reported this to me, my tenant did the following day. The next thing I got that day was a chime from my credit card company making me aware that a charge of $291 for 2 1/2 hours cleaning. I called the company surprised because I didn't know they had shown up. I asked them for a statement that let me know what they had done and asked if they had turned the air back up to 85. I waited 3 days before I had a response that told me they had turned the air back to 85. Yesterday, I arrived back in town only to find that the property was left unclean. The laundry room was untouched. The 420 SF furnished rental was left with ALL lights on, no light fixture was cleaned, the furniture cushions were never lifted up and vacumned, the back of the appliances were left with dirt debris and dog hair, bathroom fan on, the cupboards in the kitchen were left untouched and so dusty, a/c was left at 76 since Sept 6. My inspection was done Sept. 18th. I called to ask for them to come back and the third call management said they would come back to vacuum. Since that is such a small part of the problem, I declined. If you have a vacation rental through AirBNB or VRBO you can not use this company. Your host review will reflect this type of filth on your reviews. If you want a half done job for any cleaning. Zerorez in Tucson is not a reputable company. My experience with them has been horrible. They were suppose to be at my home yesterday. After my husband and I moved everything for Zerorez to clean better, I received a phone call stating they are too busy to make it to my appointment. Can they show up at 4-5 pm instead. We decided to make it for the next day. Zerorez said they will be here between 10-Noon. At 9am I received a phone call saying they were on their way. Once the rep got here he started in on their estimate that was given. He wanted to raise the estimate. Everything was measured and agreed upon prior to his arrival, but he was told to change it. We just had him leave. These companies that give you an estimate then try to change it once they get to your home is an insult. I do not recommend Zerorez in Tucson. read more

Abraham did a wonderful job on my wool area rug! It looks great. It had been in my family room for over 15 years with more than one puppy growing up in the house (and you know there is so much you can do to clean it up). There were a few residual permanent stains after the cleaning was complete which Abraham had pointed out to me. As far as customer service goes- they were very nice and easy to work with. The tech showed up right on time and was friendly. I was having two area rugs cleaned. After the tech finished the cleaning service, I looked at the rugs and they appeared cleaner. However, once the rugs dried they were not clean at all. They were still dusty when I picked them up. Equipment issues delayed the service but he was still fast, professional and got the job done on time. He is also a pretty nice guy, which makes it even better. I used them for years but the last time I had them out they wanted to charge me, again, for a expensive job I had them do a few years ago. My argument was I was told if I paid a extra 300 dollars to get the pet stains out, was told it was permanent, but they came back, why do I have to pay again for this treatment. I was then told the stains could come back. Wait a minute..... Why did you tell me that they wouldn't then? Answer, it happens, the treatment was over a year ago, you have old carpets. I ended up asking the tech to leave adding they need to speak the truth about this issue and it's to bad they don't remember the golden rule of retail "The customer is always right." Short version, this is a bait and switch operation you should avoid. They are looking to get the one hook and move on with marketing their zero-residue witchcraft. Over the phone I was upfront about everything I had going on and got a $116 quote over the phone for a 10x14' area with a few dog urine spots (Baiting). The Tech arrived and said it needed what they call a Biological Cleaning - Level 2 Sub extraction ($75/gal) to get the urine out (Switch). The technician said with complete confidence it would work. The price was now $367 for a 10x14' area! I foolishly agreed. If you get to this point tell them to leave. I was shocked at what took place next as they literally turned a garden hose of alkaline water (called it their special, zero residues) on your carpet for about a minute at a time and then attempted to suck it out. Told me it was all taken care of after a little over an hour (20 mins saling the switch, 15 mins setup and tear down). Told me the carpet should be completely dry in 24-hrs. Asked me to sign to acknowledge if I wanted them to come back out it would be a minimum of $97 for just the Level 1 topical only no questions asked. Carpet took 3 days to dry and smelt of urine and had crust all along the edge of the wall. Called them back said they would come back out, never did. Called them again asking about it and they got a tech out who stuck to the if I clean it will cost. Here is what happened, they used cheap water to push the urine below the carpet and into the pad and subfloor so that the surface looks clean. but really they only extract a small amount of the gallons they pour out. The urine reached my foundation went to the walls and was never neutralized or extracted. Also this is not a zero residue cleaning as the technician brought out a big jug of a yellow colored chemical that was applied to with a sprayer onto my carpet. Really, I think their saturation of my pad and walls likely caused damage. Here are a few more hidden cost to expect: Carpet Area up to 250sq/ft = $45, Environmental Fee - $21. Waste of money Do not use this company. They are shady af. I looked them up because my sons room had a urine smell from our dogs. I input all my information online for 4 rooms at $45 each PLUS 2 rooms with the Pet Urine removal service at $50 each. The tech got here and walked around and said we needed level 2 service in all 4 rooms which cleans the padding blah blah blah. Mind you we just got a puppy and clean up after messes pretty quickly but we thought ok, we moved all the furniture out of all the rooms let's upgrade and get them all taken care of at once. The tech seemed to know what he was talking about so we trusted him. They appeared ok when he left almost 700 bucks later. I signed his device, which was a square where I could sign, I assumed it was for the credit card or completion of service. Well the smell in the one room we needed was still lingering. I went on their website and saw they had a 30 day guarantee so I called them 6 days later to discuss my concerns. Well they told me they would come out for $250 because what I actually signed was a waiver stating that if they needed to come back out there was a fee! So their guarantee is BS. For 700 bucks I couldve replaced the carpet in the one room we needed. They called me back and did offer a tech to come the next day, I asked for free and she said he would let me know when he got here. I am not paying them another cent and definitely not moving all the furniture out again for the second week in a row just for them to tell me they will do it for another 250 dollars. He did the large living room, master bedroom, office and 2 walk-in closets in about 45 min. He was friendly and knowledgeable about the products and equipment. Was thinking about installing new carpet, but after being cleaned by Zerorez, I don't think I'll be needing new carpet right now anymore. We had 2 bedroom carpets and a 15 year old large area rug cleaned by Zerorez. The appointment was set up quickly and just a few days from when I called. The man came to the house on time and was very courteous and knowledgeable about carpet. It took him about 2 hours and he was finished at 1 pm. We turned on ceiling fans to help the carpets and rug dry. By 5:30 pm the carpets were dry. We have a 28 year old parrot so we try to use services that do not use chemicals. We were very pleased how all the spots were removed and how clean they are. A special was applied and each bedroom cost $45 and the area rug was $100. Total cost was $215. He cleaned up everything before he left. We will use Zerorez next time our carpets need to be cleaned. read more

Just rented a place and needed to get carpets cleaned. Zerorez did such an amazing job! Tim was very professional, approachable and put up with my millions of questions! His nose is something else! He could tell based on smell that there was a caged animal (most likely bird) in the room that my boyfriend had allergies in. And no, Tim did not know about a bird allergy prior to. Zerorez is more expensive, but they really know how to get the job done and it's very impressive since they are a green company-which green products are not usually as effective as those nasty chemicals. Set up cleaning in advance, provided address, received confirmation email and a reminder email days in advance of the cleaning. I received a call the morning of the cleaning letting me know that they were canceling the cleaning because I am out of their service area! Based on their "area" as described to me, I was two miles outside that area. They were unwilling to proceed with the cleaning causing me to scramble because I had already paid movers to move furniture, etc. I think this is TERRIBLE customer service as they had numerous opportunities to see what area my home was located in. The owner, Scott Arkon treated one of his employees like a slave. I booked maid service with ZeroRez for a deep cleaning of my dtrs house because she is having a baby soon. When I booked it I was told it would take a team of three people and it would take them 3.5 hours. On the day of the booking only one absolutely lovely young woman came. She was delightful and embarrassed to say that she was the only one coming. I voiced concern that she could do the job herself. She said she could, but it would take her 6 hours. I asked to talk to her supervisor. The supervisor called and I voiced my concern. He was incredibly rude and talked down to me, basically telling me that the employee would do the job and not to question his decision to only send one instead of three. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he said, " I'm the supervisor". I asked to speak to the owner and he said,"I am the owner". I was surprised that the owner was so rude and showed no concern for the young woman at all. I again asked why he was being so rude with his tone of voice and he ended up telling the young woman to leave. She was very sweet and apologized for his decision as she was a single mom who just had a baby and was excited for my daughter. I ended up talking to a few friends and one said she used another service and one of the employees used to work for ZeroRez and Scott Akron. She told her he treats his employees terrible and that many end up quitting due to his attitude toward them. From my experience, I have no doubt about this and I hope his employees continue to leave for other jobs where they will be treated with respect. read more

Used the cleaning service and was rewarded with awful customer service (Alexandria I believe was her name) and a dirty oven I had to clean myself. I called to ask about my blinds and oven. I noticed that they were not cleaned. My blinds were still dusty (guess this isn't in a normal clean) and my oven was not throughly cleaned on the inside and on the sides. Alexandria proceeded to be very rude and argumentative. She said my oven could not be cleaned further due to damage, however, I wiped and cleaned it myself and it came right off. It was left over cleaning products. I asked for a refund for just the oven portion since I cleaned it myself, and was told the prices are given up front. I wasn't worried about the prices. I was disappointed that I had to clean the oven again after I just paid $300. I find it strange that this is acceptable work. Will not be using again. read more

Offered one price (on radio ad, $99 for 3 rooms which seemed fair) but ended up paying $264 for a small hallway, standard living room, and very small bedroom, plus a sofa. 1.5 hours work. He missed the carpet behind the sofa and some spots were left that should have been able to be cleaned/removed. In general, satisfied with the cleaning, but very pricey. Carpet appears clean and is soft. I believe the price should have been quite a bit less. Unless their prices come down, I wouldn't use again. They were ok for an expensive price. I chose them because of the 1,000+ positive reviews and their A+ BBB review, but it is very misleading. I was quoted a price of $459 for a 6 room cleaning and carpet protectant. When the tech got to my house, the price skyrocket to $700+ without any real explanation, but we were moving in the next day and I needed it done. Well, then there was an area that had a strong pet urine smell that needed "special extraction" treatment which caused the price to increase even more to $924.00! This was the price even after the tech claimed he was comping the initial cleaning cost. He said the extraction would take care of the smell. I never recieved an itemized bill, everything was verbal. We moved in the next day and the urine smell was even worse. I contacted the tech and received a response that highly insinuated that they would come out for a complementary second treatment. He said that someone from the office would contact me the next day. Well, I called 3 days later after not being contacted and they had the nerve to say I would have to pay for the additonal treatments ($75 a gallon) without a guarantee that it wouls take care of the smell. At this point I was furious, having paid over twice what I was initially quoted and still having a stinky house. Oh, and the carpet protectant was worthless too. There was a spill in an area that the protectant was applied...and it wouldn't come clean. I called Regal and they recleaned the area and applied a odor treatment for $58. What is interesting is that I posted my experience on their Facebook ad and my post was either taken down or hidden within a few hours. This home had been rented for the last three years. Even though the lease stipulated no pets. There was clear sign that a dog had urinated in the house. The carpet was dirty!!! I had used Zerorez in the past with great success. It was either change the carpet or get it really clean. ZEROREZ did an amazing JOB!!!!
