I soaked up as much as I could with clean towels until the technician arrived while the mess was still wet. He had 3 years of experience and didn't know how to address the problem but he tried to "just get the job done" using his training. He got some but not enough. I videoed the before and after and sent it to the manager. The next morning they sent a well experienced service manager out. John knew what to do and readdressed the situation with expertise. No more stains! I knew to get estimates and referrals before deciding on a service provider, Steamy Concepts was the only one who responded with WE'LL GET ON IT IMMEDIATELY without additional charges. TLDR: quoted under $100 on the phone, charged $437 in person, and there was visible dirt and smells when the job was done. im putting a few screenshots to back up the numbers i mention in the review. i would give this company negative stars if possible. i hired them to shampoo my living room carpet and hallway rug because my senior pet is sick and having trouble making it to the bathroom. unfortunately, i had a horrible experience. i googled carpet shampoo companies, and saw that this one was highly rated. i saw that there is a 100% off a room promotion (visible in my screenshot), so i called them and asked about the requirements for that promotion. they said (word for word): "100% off? like a free room? we don't do that". i told them what i saw on google and they didn't say anything about that, but instead offered a deal where they could clean 2 rooms for $79 something (also visible in my screenshot). they mentioned that rugs were separate and they would see it and quote me a price. so i booked an appointment for the two room deal. i was expecting to pay $79 plus whatever they quoted for the rug. the rug is not that big since it's a hallway rug, not an area rug. the day before they came over, they sent an email saying that there was a $19 fee for disposal of pet fluids. i thought that sounded pretty standard and didn't think anything of it. when the technician got there, they completely disregarded the two rooms for $79 deal. they said that it would have been $200 something, but since there is the pet waste, it would be $437. and that's how much i ended up paying them even though i was told on the phone that i would be paying under $100. screenshot of my invoice included. that's not even the worst part. the worst part is the horrible job they did. they did the living in roughly 10 minutes (preeeety fast compared to other companies ive hired over the fifteen years ive had this living room). when they were done, i asked if they shampooed under the living room rugs. they said no, even though that part was supposed to have been covered. so i asked them to do that and they did it very fast, just like the rest of the room. then they were getting ready to leave, and i asked if they shampooed the hallway rug. they said no even though that was one of the things i booked the appointment for and we discussed it once they got there. i asked them to do that too, and they did it in a couple of minutes. im not saying that as an exaggeration, i mean literally a few minutes. they charged me $69. when they left, neither the living room carpet nor the hallway rug were clean. the corners of the room had visible dust, dirt, and dried orange water (came out with some extra cleaning i did). random parts of the carpet were crusty like they dried with some solution on them. the rug was much worse than the living in room. not only did it still smell like pee, it also had dried pee crusted on parts of it. i was straight up shocked to step on that after they left. i shampoo my carpet myself most of the year, and if i was doing this job, i would've given it a few more rinses. i hate that i will have to do this myself after paying such an usually large amount of money for this small job. im just genuinely shocked to see their positive google reviews, especially considering that so many of their yelp reviewers had the same experience as me. read more

Carpet service on 8 Nov 2025, morning session - Tech Horatio, was prompt, courteous and personable. Had scheduled a 2 room Special for $79, w/a one room add-on. He suggested the "Ultimate Carpet Cleaning" for a more efficient clean of our cream carpets. I'm so glad I did, they look absolutely fabulous and am extremely pleased with the results. I will use them again for my carpet cleaning needs and recommend this business. The only concern I have is the, "365 Spot & Spill Plan Subscription," he offered. I trusted Horacio's word (no handout offered or online info to review) that this annual plan would meet my needs, as I did my do diligence asking him multiple questions to ensure this is something I could use. Well today I see the invoice, only to read it "does not" cover traffic areas. This was the main reason I purchased this plan. Especially after talking with him and being reassured. I just had Steamy Concepts come out to my home. They quoted me over 600 dollars to steam clean two rooms of carpet and steam clean over 700 sq ft of tile. The carpet cleaning looks good - it is about what I would have expected. The tile cleaning outcome was very poor. Doing my own baking soda/vinegar clean followed by a spot steam clean on two areas, I found that the grout was a little cleaner but it was still resistance to becoming clean. Somewhere along the line, someone must have used a cleaner product that was inappropriate for the grout which caused it to stain. Overall the company had good folks, good equipment, and did a good job. read more

Was scheduled for carpet cleaning, couch and love seat yesterday June 19. Schedule was between 8 and noon. He showed up at 12:20. Not a big deal but would have preferred earlier arrival. It was immediately going to be a difficult appointment. He wanted to charge us 2 rooms for our bedroom. None of the furniture was removed, so that part of the room wasn't going to be cleaned. They stipulate on the website 250SF. My room is slightly over that but again more than half wasn't humbling cleaned. We were ok with moving past that issue. Until it came to the couches and loveseat. Its on the website for 89 each. The total feet for both was 12 feet. He tried charging for 16 feet and when we questioned it he went to the truck to see if he could get a discount. That's not the issue, we were being overcharged. He came back in offering $210 instead of $240. But again still 16 feet. When I showed him the pricing on website he carrys on about cushions. Excuse me, yes the couch has cushions and website doesn't say anything about upcharge for that. Now to know the total we were charged was 399.00 for all this. Bedroom as 2 rooms, pet treatment, environmental service fee and couch and loveseat. At thsi point I told him appointment is canceled and to leave my house. I called the office to report the incident. Manager James called me back and wanted to win us back as customers. Asked me to send pictures of couches. I did as asked.and he was supposed to call me back with correct pricing. NO CALL. 3:50 steamy concepts shows back up at my house again to do the work. I never received the call to discuss pricing, james jus6 sent someone over to do it. Pricing was going to be 290 or something like that. Can't remember exactly. We said no thank tou and explained icelt how hames didn't call. He said James sent him. He was embarrassed and left. Not a good look for the company. Oh and when taking to James on the phone, they dont care if furniture is moved out or not, room size is room size. And if they need to count it as two, they will. My furniture cover well over half the room. Probably closer to two thirds. I should have to pay for two rooms when such a small amount is actually being cleaned. And then to try and rip me off further with the couches, pet fee etc. I had one stain that needed help. No pet issues. Steamy Concepts initially responded quickly, but unfortunately the rest of the experience was extremely disappointing. Significant mold behind our garage cabinets and concerns about adjoining walls were overlooked. When I brought this to their attention, communication fell apart. The project manager and renovation manager each made promises to follow up but did not. After weeks of delays, I hired another company who completed the job correctly, thoroughly, and for half the price. They were surprised that Steamy Concepts had missed such obvious problem areas. Even after leaving multiple messages, I was told by the Director of Operations that he was unaware of any issues. This confirmed for me that communication within the company is a major problem. Steamy Concepts did offer a small compensation, but I would have preferred a professional, complete job the first time. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend them based on this experience. read more

Stay away from these fricking idiots, their nothing but a bunch of scumbags looking to fleece you out of your hard earned money. I wouldn't hire these low lifes to clean up a spilled water glass. They were hired by Allstate insurance to come in and clean up water damage from a leak in my living room wall which penetrated the back bedroom closet. They came in and ripped up the carpet leaving the wet tack strips, rolled it up and set it outside with the promise they would be replacing it. Next the boxed up (60) boxes of wet clothes and stacked them in the living room and back bedroom. Next they cut 6 big square holes approximately 1 - 1-1/2 foot holes in the living room wall and bedroom closet with the explanation they would be using thier machines to to pull the moisture out of the cement and walls. They brought in (3) machines placing (2) on the livingroom floor where the carpet was and (1) in the back closet floor. They sat running for 3 days, once a day a employee would come by and empty the water it had collected out of the cement. In the process of moving these machines back and forth they busted and cracked some of the hallway tile. After 3 days they came and collected their equipment. They did absolutely nothing about the wet moldy drywall, the livingroom and closet still has holes in them, the carpet is still sitting outside, the boxed clothes are now moldy and destroyed and never heard from them again, that was in June 2025, this post was made in October 2025. On top of that they sent me a bill for $5200 and I'm not the one that hired them. If you value your home, time and money....STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM THESE DUMBASSES. I have to rate them out of 5 stars, they don't deserve 1 star but there's no rating lower than 1 star. I see their ads on TV and their spokespersons claiming that their number one in Arizona. There's no way in hell, somebody's getting a fat sack of cash to lie, they're nothing more than a Steamy pile of number two. read more

Service was slated between 1 and 5. At 3, we got a call that there was a delay and arrival would be "closer to 5." That's the last we heard from Steamy Concepts. The tech finally arrived at 6:30. Ten minutes after his arrival we got a text that he "was on his way." So horrible communication and treatment of their customers. BUYER BEWARE - Had Steamy come out today. I was a victim of the ole bait and switch. Initial quote was $250. After the tech arrived I was told it would be double. BUYER BEWARE- the $99 per room up to 150 sqf has so many restrictions, I was told to qualify it has to be 12"x12" tile "smooth edges" and it's more if they have to scrub the grout by hand. I am sure there's more. For what they charge if you can sweep, vacuum or mop a floor you can DIY it and buy yourself a steam system and tools from Amazon and have plenty of $$$ left over in addition to saving in the long run having the tools available when you need them. read more

we had our home floor in early June. steamy concepts was punctual, friendly and helpful. we worked directly with Chris from day one and he helped us navigate the situation- as well as advocating for us with our insurance company. fast forward 3 months and our insurance refused to cover some of the necessary work. Tony, and our account representative personally dedicated several hours of their time to make sure that our insurance's requirements were met. while this was frustrating for us, in my experience neither insurance nor contractors/business owners are willing to work to make sure home owners are taken care of. Every so often, even in a perfect world, insurance mistakes happen. I consider myself lucky to have Tony, Chris and our account representative at Steamy Concepts as genuine advocates for us when the dispute did occur. if I believed otherwise I would not hesitate to leave a different review. as far as work goes, our situation was rather complex but the work that was done was of very high quality and it was done in a timely matter. We always felt that our concerns were directly addressed and no one within steamy concepts ever deflected responsibility for a question or failed to respond to anything we asked. I don't think I need to explain why this is a good quality among contractors. if I had to rank the most important qualities for people rowing work in your home they are: honesty, integrity and quality, Steamy Concepts and their staff earned full marks from me. read more

Disappointed. We had them come clean our carpets to prepare for an open house. They came and did the job quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately, we did not get great results with several stains still clearly visible and pressure marks on the carpet from furniture. They said they did their best. Curious, I bought a cheap carpet cleaner and went over the areas with warm water. That's it. Just warm water. No chemicals. The residue that I picked up was pitch black. I re-cleaned the other rooms with warm water and my cheap carpet cleaner. The amount of hair and dirt that I picked up was remarkable. Magically, the stains and pressure marks disappeared. How can an amateur with a cheap carpet cleaner, warm water, and a few hours remove the stains and grime that they left behind? Save money and get better results by doing it yourself! read more

There were 3 area rugs in my home that needed cleaning. During the appointment call, I was not asked if the flooring under the carpets was wood or tile which would have saved a lot of grief. The technician came to our home, checked the flooring and immediately mentioned that the carpets could not be cleaned in the house as steam cleaning was involved and water could wreck the hardwood. Much appreciated. He could either take them back to his location and have them cleaned there or clean them on the garage driveway. He was the only technician and these carpets are too heavy for 1 person to lift, so I offered to help. I'm 76 years old, my husband wasn't available. The carpets were cleaned beautifully, no problem there. In speaking with the manager, I suggested the person booking appointments should identify the type of flooring, also having 2 technicians to carry 8x10 carpets out of the house. So this is where he lost me - repeat business is the mainstay of any company. The manager was very nice, hoped I would consider calling again for future service, but did not offer even a small incentive which could be applied to the next visit. While they did respond quickly, and just when we thought all was going to be taken care of from start to finish with water damage in our home, it quickly went downhill and became a chaotic mess. They did the initial part in removing any moisture from the walls around the windows and checking the air quality, etc. However, we did have to keep inquiring as to the status of things as the communication with this company was not what it should be. The renovation company they work with, Royalty Renovations, well that is is another horrible disaster that a separate review will be written on. So, after Royalty Renovations did the rebuilding around the windows, re-painting, etc....Steamy Concepts stepped back in to clean the floors. WOW....did someone dump a bucket of dirty water on our tile floors??? Well, this is what it looked like when Steamy Concepts was done. I couldn't believe the sloppy job that was done. How are footprints, streaks, dirty water marks, etc part of a cleaned floor??? I would NEVER recommend Steamy Concepts to anyone that needed their tile floor cleaned. I cannot give an opinion on how they do with carpet, as we don't have any. Their unprofessionalism and carelessness of work didn't end with the physical portion of the job. I reviewed the itemized statement they had supplied to my insurance company. I couldn't believe the amount of line items that they were charging my insurance company. Some of these items were NEVER used. Yes, my insurance did pay for all the damage after the deduction of our deductible....however, do companies not realize that they help to drive up insurance rates because of this? Tony came from Steamy Concepts at 11:30 at night when I had a flood in my kitchen. He was very professional and helpful right away. Fans got going as well as a dehumidifier. He helped get me on track with my insurance and told me what would happen next. Someone came each day to check the moisture levels as is required and when it was time, they started the demolition of the flooring and cabinets and drywall under the sink. It's a lot to process when it's never happened before and Tony was fabulous at making me feel reassured that all would proceed as it needed to. Despite some initial hiccups and miscommunication, now that our project is done we are in love with our floors thanks to Steamy Concepts! We have a home that is only about 2 years old, but we noticed that the grout in some of our high traffic areas and shower was starting to look a little worn out and dirty. We called a few different companies to get quotes for a grout cleaning and Steamy Concepts was among the best price and the most professional. We decided to book an appointment with them and Ezra, our technician, was absolutely stellar. He educated us about the process and worked very hard to clean our grout and apply a seal coat to protect it from future wear. A miscommunication with the technicians concerning what we should expect from our grout cleaning in some very key areas resulted in the need for a redo job, which was completed promptly and professionally by Jeremy. Jeremy also came out and took care of a color seal on our shower floor, which looks fantastic! He was very knowledgeable and professional, providing us with great information on how to keep our grout looking like new. The management team reached out to us because of the initial service hiccup and went out of their way to ensure the problem was resolved and that we were well taken care of. I mentioned to him that we were considering having our entire home color sealed and he even offered us a special discount for the trouble. He made it clear that Steamy Concepts values their customers and will do whatever it takes to make up for it when honest mistakes happen. Initially I had received a recommendation. I had a gentleman come over he was professional, gave me a reasonable quote for steaming my tile I booked appointment for the following Saturday Saturday A different technician came out came into my house looking overwhelmed, said the quote was way off said that my tile looks shiny. I would need to have it stripped. There is no way that he could steam it, he said that it would need to be stripped. He said the service would be $1200 opposed to $360. He said that he would not be able to do it that day if I would like to reschedule I said no I personally went to Home Depot purchase products for $140 cleaned my whole surface area that I was going to pay for. One of Steamy Concepts' technicians came to clean my carpets in mid-March. While he was cleaning the carpets somehow his hose hit and knocked over a $600.00 piece of blown glass artwork that had been in that location for 10 years and survived quite a number of carpet cleaners. While accidents do happen, I believe the technician, knowing and seeing that piece of work in front of him should have moved it, or at a minimum asked us to move it if he was not confident he could work around it. As I stated earlier, I have had my carpets cleaned dozens of times with the installation placed were it was, and there was never an issue. Outside of that, the technician was professional, and he did a good job on the carpets. After the technician left, I contacted their main office. Since it was on a Saturday, the office was closed by someone did get back with me, and I explained the issue. The following Monday, the owner, Matt contacted me. I once again explained the situation. He was very apologetic and asked if I had a receipt. I explained that the piece was five years old and purchased in Louisiana. He asked that I send examples of what I purchased. Luckily, the artist has a website with similar works. I forwarded this information to his attention. At the end of our conversation, he assured me that he would have his accounts payable department cut a check for the replacement of the installation. Just had my 2 bedrooms of carpet cleaned in a record 20 minutes. They cleaned it for the $45 a room as advertised on their coupon but if I wanted it deep cleaned using a brush they would charge an extra $30 per room. I took the basic cleaning and that is what I got! Nothing spectacular and no noticeable difference! The young man was polite and well mannered. He said they were the top carpet cleaner in Tucson! I'll try someone else next time! (I took a piece of white toweling and swiped the newly cleaned carpet and it was very petty dirty! I was told in order to get it that clean I needed the deep cleaning!)
