If I could give them a negative I would! They are authorized through AAA I have a Nissan Versa, I was stranded and called AAA and Tucson Battery Services came out and charged me $282.00 for a new battery!!! it was 100 degrees with a dead battery............Man they took me to the cleaners! That particular battery is approx $125.00 Shame on them and shame on AAA for recommending them. read more

Excellent service from technician Daniel. He was at our house less than 45 minutes after our call to AAA. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He determined our battery was too dead to just jump start, showed us the diagnostic report, and was able to replace the battery on the spot and take away the old battery. After parking my Prius for 3 months I came back to a Dead battery. The Prius has two. This one is the small one in the back that controls starting and the electronics. I called triple A and they sent this company in a small van dedicated to a failed battery. In this case , he did a jump start and I was to drive it for an hour to charge it back up. He suggested I take it to a mechanic to inspect the system. Which I did both. Now , This is the day after and everything is back to normal. Refused to accept AAA Warranty for battery even though the technician checked and told me the warranty was valid. He said that because the battery was totally dead they would have to tow my vehicle to another location for further testing before they could provide me with a new battery at no cost. read more

They'll make any excuse to avoid replacing a battery under warranty and their batteries are low quality. Buy from somewhere else. AAA failed by being cheap and contracting battery service to a third party. Their warranties are completely useless and the hassle is ridiculous. Will not buy a battery from them again. Also AAA battery failure rates have increased sincethey started working with ​this company. Fire them. Before this all of my experiences with AAA battery were positive. They've changed their warranty policies and become cheap. Business will decline as a result. read more

I had a technician assess my car through AAA and the said the battery was fine. It just needed to be charged and that's longer than a normal service call. That seemed reasonable since the battery was purchased from Tucson Battery 6 months earlier. I had the car towed to a shop and they said the battery was dead and needed to be replaced. They happily sold me a $500 battery and the car works fine. I'm trying to get some reimbursement from AAA for the 6-mo old battery and I need a receipt from Tucson Battery for the original purchase. I've requested a copy of my invoice a few times over the past week, and they haven't been able to honor that. I think AAA needs to work with a more reliable company with better customer service. read more

Had a dead battery & called AAA. Took the guy 2 hours to get there. He decided the battery was not charge-able & I needed a new one, for which he charged me over $200 for a battery for an 86 Honda. Absolute highway robbery. The worst in every possible regard. read more

Tucson battery replaced my college student's battery. It was one of theirs and was still under warranty. I was told we wouldn't be charged, but I just got a bill, AND the tech didn't clean the terminals, so the car was making noise and we had to take it in to a mechanic. The absolute most amazing experience. The best communication skills I have encountered in many years. I called for AAA service and was told there would be 1 hour and 30 minute wait. Ugh. Immediately was contacted by the service technician and informed that it was a busy day and I was 4th in line. Each time I moved up in the line, he notified me. I was kept in the loop the whole time. When he arrived, he calmly listened to my explanation, tested my battery and replaced it within about fifteen minutes. His new business should be teaching others about customer service. If I could give no stars, I would. This is a third party vendor that AAA uses. If they offer to replace your battery, just say no. We had a battery in our 2014 CRV that was replaced in March 2021, also done by AAA and this third party vendor. The gentleman that serviced the vehicle at that time, said he had a battery on the truck. I thought it was expensive, but he assured me it was one of the best batteries on the market and says "the warranty is the best in the business." While he was great, not so true about the battery or the warranty. It was well under the 36 month warranty. Fast forward to June 17, 2023. Tucson battery replaced this battery (same service provider) with a new battery and charged us $235.72. I was out of town and my daughter was dealing with this on her own. The owner, Wes Adams was very rude and blamed the entire issue on my daughter. Poor customer service and not a company that should not be associated with AAA. I filed a complaint with AAA and they were great as usual listening to my concerns. The are working to get us reimbursed. read more

We called AAA for my daughters car battery, battery died and car needed jumped. AAA dispatched Tuscon Battery and Danny the tech shows up telling me over the phone that he has a battery he can change out for 318.00. I told him to jump the car. he tells my daughter that it's going to take awhile and while she's on the phone talking to my wife his constant angling got them to approve the new battery. Danny told it would take awhile to change....BS .. he was gone within 20mins. AAA would have towed the car to Ford the next day for free and cost me 165.00 to replace, instead I have a 318.00 battery from a service provider that took advantage of a naive young woman after I told Danny I didn't want the battery. I would never use this service, not the type of professional reputable business transaction I excepted from a AAA provider. I spoke to driver upon arrival. I was very clear with my instruction, absolutely ridiculous! My daughter was taken advantage of for a simple dead battery. I will never recommend this business for any thing. read more
