Wonderful!!!! Leslie has been taking care of our dog, Sydney…read morefor 8 1/2 years, since she was a puppy (might be one of her first clients) and we could not be more pleased. Sydney is so excited to see her every day and comes home ready for a nap. Sydney has lots of energy and goes out on trail runs daily with small groups of other dogs. Leslie and her staff are extremely reliable. We trust her with our fur baby and coming into our home every day. They never miss a day regardless of weather or whatever. Totally reliable!! She truly loves caring for and exercising the dogs. She is a pleasure to communicate with and will always accommodate me if there is a special circumstance. I would highly recommend Doggonerunnin, Leslie and her team for exercising and socializing your pets. Marianne~Sudbury

After being a loyal client for about a year, I emailed Leslie, the business owner, to inform her…read morethat I was moving, giving her my new address, and requesting that she let me know if she'd be able to continue including my dog in her hiking service from the new address. She did not respond and when she came to pick up my dog for a scheduled and prepaid hike two days later, she called me at work. Almost as soon as I picked up, Leslie began a harangue of verbal abuse. Apparently she had taken my message as an attempt to immediately cancel all services, which it was not. Instead of allowing me to clarify or get a word in at all, Leslie yelled at me for the duration of two phone calls, hung up on me, and refused to listen to my voicemail. Her behavior was borderline unhinged. She turned a misunderstanding on her part into a verbal assault and complete severance of our contract. This episode was extreme enough that I would no longer trust her with my dog or as a reasonable person with whom to conduct any sort of business.

She offered me a business card and mentioned that she walks a number of dogs in my apt building if I ever needed any help. Most days I work from home, but sometimes I have to travel for work and I can be gone for a week at a time. With my husband working long hours I decided to first give Wanna Go Out a try for my puppy's daily potty and exercise needs while I was traveling. I called Wanna Go Out and had an initial consultation with the owner (Jen), who was very professional and also easy going and approachable. We discussed a few different options that might be best for my pup and started with a couple of solo walks. After a few solo walks with our walker Elle, my little guy was cleared for group walks with other dogs. I couldn't be more grateful for this as it has really helped to better socialize him with other animals and with people too! Wanna Go Out walkers provide great feedback on how the walks go (verbal when I'm home and notes or text messages while I'm away). Also, their website is easy to use for scheduling. And billing is easy peasy! I've used Wanna Go Out for group walks both while I'm working from home and while I've been out of town. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences and I completely trust my walker, Elle. She is the absolute greatest!! I can say with 100% certainty that I would recommend Wanna Go Out. They are pet people. And they are people people. In my experience I feel as though they have gone out of their way to make sure that both me and my pup are happy.

Our dog can be leash-reactive, so she requires walkers that understand dog behavior and are very responsible. We have been lucky to be a part of the WGO group for many years now. I grew up in Hudson and left at 18 vowing never to come back. I lived all over the world,…read morecollecting dogs in my travels, and moved back to Hudson at the beginning of the summer with my now husband and 2 dogs. We work A LOT so I was blowing through dog walkers and dog sitters left and right. My dogs are small. They're sweet. They're emotional. They require some patience and tenderness that I was sure I was never going to find in a dog walker/pet sitter. I have an irrational obsession with both of my dogs -- I found one in kennel in South Korea, sick and abused. The other we got at another shelter and she is vivacious and social when comfortable, but often uncomfortable. They sleep in the bed. Eat salad. You get it. I'm crazy, my dogs live well and I want them to always live well. My husband told me a few weeks after moving to Lake Boon that there was a dog daycare on our street, 3 houses down. I thought he was seeing things. I had spent the entire summer interviewing, hiring and being disappointed by dog walkers/pet sitters. "She hid under the couch so I didn't walk her" "he didn't eat... last meal was 3 days ago. is that ok?" On and on. So, there was NO WAY there was a pet sitter on my street. And my husband now can say "this is the one meaningful, useful thing I have contributed to our relationship" - he found the BEST dog sitters ever! 5 doors down. We recently traveled internationally and for the first time ever, I gave my dogs to someone who doesn't share half my DNA. This was not easy. We are back now and my dogs are so happy and I can tell they have been happy since we were gone. I know they missed us but they were SO well cared for. They slept in beds. They snuggled. They played. They walked. They got individual attention - they were cared for as well as I would care for them and that is soooooo perfectly wonderful. You all are fantastic and we thank you so much! I feel like I'm leaving my dogs with... myself away from myself. Does that make sense? Maybe not. Do not hesitate to contact Nancy for all your pet care needs. Patient, thoughtful, reliable, loves what she is doing, you're all the best!

Our consult was with Nance, and she was very patient in explaining the process and talking us through some initial things that we were struggling with. Then, we started with a training package that included 3 private training classes and 2 months of group obedience classes. We also went to a few puppy kindergarten classes. Nicole did the majority of our trainings and she has been a god-sent. She is very good with the dogs, and her energy level makes the training classes fun both for us and our dog. We learned a lot from Nicole and she helped us to feel a lot less stressed out and actually enjoy the puppyhood. The obedience class is set up like a monthly subscription, where you can go to as many classes as you want. We end up going about 3-4 times a week for 30 minutes, as it is a great activity to mentally exercise our dog and provide socialization while working alongside other dogs. We also started bringing our dog to their dog day camp 2x a week. Tim was also very patient in explaining the process. The dog day camp has been great in getting her to play with other dogs and allows her to learn obedience from others aside from us.

We are so lucky to have her expertise, she has changed the lives of so many dogs!
