They send a report after every walk with a map of the walk, a short comment about how it went, indicators of the dog's actions (pee, poop, water), and the BEST photos of the dogs - who always look so happy. The Boston Fetch team is unlike any dog-walking service I have previously used. My dog, Toffee, is 15 years old, so he is pretty senior and needs patient dog walkers. The team at Boston Fetch and more specifically, his main walkers, Tamara and Hannah, not only took him on leisurely walks, but in the harsh, Boston winters would put on his jacket and shoes for salt protection without us needing to ask!! I've never had any walker be that invested in Toffee before and we have used 2 other companies in Boston for about a year each. Scheduling walks is a breeze and Sophie and Derrick would even text me if I forgot to schedule Toffee to ask if I needed a walk that day. In addition, Tamara and Hannah would leave very detailed notes after each walk and a photo so I felt very connected to Toffee throughout my work day. The few times I ran into Tamara ( I have a very bizzare work schedule) we had the best conversations and I could see how happy Toffee was to hang out with her on his walk. The only reason I cannot continue with Boston Fetch is because we are moving out of Boston :( Seriously, you will not be disappointed with the service delivered for walks that are a lot more affordable than other competing companies. Sophie and her team take great care of my cockapoo, Ben. The few times I am home for it, I see how happy Ben is to go for his walk. My schedule changes every so often and they have been very accommodating with any adjustments I've needed to make. The app makes scheduling and making changes a breeze. I use them for walks mostly, but I have also used them for dog/house sitting, and small errands like watering plants and collecting my mail. Very recently, I locked myself out of my home on a weekend and thought I would need to find a locksmith, but I called Sophie and in 20 minutes, one of the walkers came by to let me in. Godsend. I am so impressed with the team at Boston Fetch! Sophie came to our home before we scheduled the walks for a quick meet and greet, which put my mind at ease. Echoing the review below me! Boston Fetch is absolutely amazing. I've never felt so happy, comfortable and confident in a team taking care of my two Frenchie girls. I consider the three of us special needs - one dog has a plethora of daily/nightly medications, the other severe separation anxiety, me, a neurotic dog parent - and they couldn't do a better job. The scheduling is super easy and flexible (you can request or cancel up to 8am same-day). I also have a more unpredictable travel schedule at work and, for instance, with less than a week notice, Sophie and her team were able to stay with my girls for several days. It's such a huge relief. Also, I cannot speak highly enough of Hannah and Tamara. They are so kind and lovely. Their updates make my day and it's so nice to have a team you really trust and rely on. I get emailed notes and photos at every visit. Their site was down the other day and I got a text to let me know it was down, that their walker was on their way, arrived and then I got text photos and updates instead. That is really above and beyond. We are moving to Seattle at the end of the week, and I'm so sad to lose them. I would've stayed in JP forever just so I could keep Boston Fetch. Thank you, guys!!! We will miss you. PS: I just have to mention this. I'm not sure if she means to be or not, but Tamara's updates are hysterical. They make me lol every time. They use Pet Check technology so they scan in and out of our home and can leave notes and pics to let us know how everything went - I look forward to those pics daily! I just moved to JP a couple of weeks ago and have already used Boston Fetch a couple of times. My dog can be weary of strangers but immediately took to Sophie which made me feel good about leaving her for the weekend as I used the Weekend Fetch option (which is also competitively priced compared to other walkers/boarders). It was also comforting to know that she was staying in a nice home and not left in a cage for hours on end. Sophie took her for nice long walks, and as mentioned in the other comment, sent pictures to me which I thought was so nice and thoughtful. As a new puppy mom I was very nervous about finding a dog walker we trusted (not only to walk our pup but also to be coming in and out of our house). Sophie put all of our fears to rest right away. I've had at least 4 different dog walkers in Boston and Sophie and her team are by far the best! Every day I look forward to the fun walk update that usually includes an adorable photo that they took on the walk. They have an easy online system that allows easy schedule changes which is great for me since my work schedule is all over the place. Sophie also personally checks in on holidays and a lot of times have reminded me of changes in my own schedule and has always been so accommodating of last minute changes. She and her team really go above and beyond in every way - for my dog, adding extra layers on cold days and noticing when she's not feeling well- and also for me, including bringing over my house keys in the middle of a blizzard when I locked myself out!
