Our consult was with Nance, and she was very patient in explaining the process and talking us through some initial things that we were struggling with. Then, we started with a training package that included 3 private training classes and 2 months of group obedience classes. We also went to a few puppy kindergarten classes. Nicole did the majority of our trainings and she has been a god-sent. She is very good with the dogs, and her energy level makes the training classes fun both for us and our dog. We learned a lot from Nicole and she helped us to feel a lot less stressed out and actually enjoy the puppyhood. The obedience class is set up like a monthly subscription, where you can go to as many classes as you want. We end up going about 3-4 times a week for 30 minutes, as it is a great activity to mentally exercise our dog and provide socialization while working alongside other dogs. We also started bringing our dog to their dog day camp 2x a week. Tim was also very patient in explaining the process. The dog day camp has been great in getting her to play with other dogs and allows her to learn obedience from others aside from us.

It's remarkable to see the progress that they make with her and how much they enjoy their training sessions! Nance adapts her training sessions to the needs of the individual dog and she is quick to assess how they learn best. She is always patient, kind, and encouraging. We are so lucky to have her expertise, she has changed the lives of so many dogs!

Wonderful!!!! Leslie has been taking care of our dog, Sydney…read morefor 8 1/2 years, since she was a puppy (might be one of her first clients) and we could not be more pleased. Sydney is so excited to see her every day and comes home ready for a nap. Sydney has lots of energy and goes out on trail runs daily with small groups of other dogs. Leslie and her staff are extremely reliable. We trust her with our fur baby and coming into our home every day. They never miss a day regardless of weather or whatever. Totally reliable!! She truly loves caring for and exercising the dogs. She is a pleasure to communicate with and will always accommodate me if there is a special circumstance. I would highly recommend Doggonerunnin, Leslie and her team for exercising and socializing your pets. Marianne~Sudbury

After being a loyal client for about a year, I emailed Leslie, the business owner, to inform her…read morethat I was moving, giving her my new address, and requesting that she let me know if she'd be able to continue including my dog in her hiking service from the new address. She did not respond and when she came to pick up my dog for a scheduled and prepaid hike two days later, she called me at work. Almost as soon as I picked up, Leslie began a harangue of verbal abuse. Apparently she had taken my message as an attempt to immediately cancel all services, which it was not. Instead of allowing me to clarify or get a word in at all, Leslie yelled at me for the duration of two phone calls, hung up on me, and refused to listen to my voicemail. Her behavior was borderline unhinged. She turned a misunderstanding on her part into a verbal assault and complete severance of our contract. This episode was extreme enough that I would no longer trust her with my dog or as a reasonable person with whom to conduct any sort of business.

I can't say enough good things about Mary Littlefield who takes care of our very timid cat when we…read moretravel, which we do often. Miss Violet usually streaks upstairs when she hears a car pull into the driveway, and there she keeps watch from the top step, expecting pillage and mayhem and the demise of us all .... unless it's Mary. Then she comes downstairs quickly and purrs loudly while directing long, meaningful glances toward her sitter. She's utterly shameless in her admiration for Mary. We try to ignore Miss Violet's outlandish behaviour, but sometimes wonder if we should spend more time at home -- put a little damper on this foolish infatuation. There was a crisis three years ago when Miss Violet swallowed a long string, and we weren't due back for another week. Mary handled the situation beautifully and kept us abreast of what was going on before and after the procedure to remove it. (Thanks, Mary!) Mary has apologized for endearing herself so to Miss Vi, and we forgive her wholeheartedly. She's become indispensable to our gadabout family. I can't recommend Mary Littlefield highly enough to anyone who travels and needs to leave a shy kitty at home.

Most notable was a dog whose owners were away on a 3 week trip, and Mary was hired to take care of him three times a day. This dog was clearly depressed without his owners. Mary cheered him right up and stayed extra hours with him. She took photos of him and sent them to his owners. Mary understood his emotions and was able to comfort him. At another house there were two cats. When we arrived, they were hiding. Once Mary was there, they came running out. Mary doesn't just feed cats and go, she stays and pets them, plays with them, sits with them and puts them in her lap. What was apparent was how every animal loved and trusted her. She was able to be kind and gentle, but was also able to be firm and set boundaries with dogs that got out of control. You will love Mary's services!
