I was devastated when my favorite pink pea coat got stuck in the door of a taxi last year and got huge grease stain on it as a result. I'm glad I waited to take it to Tuckers who somehow managed to clean it up and make it (almost) as good as new. Seriously, they did a fantastic job. I have been to this cleaner 3 times. The service is OK. One occasion I dropped off close and when I went to pick them up, they were not ready. The lady said they would be next to be done, because they had to redo a dress because some how it had got staines it during the cleaning. So, I come back the next day and pick to up my clothes and the dresses are not ready ready yet. They said it will be about 5 minutes and I could wait. I got the other clothes first and when the dresses came out the woman hurriedly put them in my car. When I got to my destination in NC at the hotel both dresses had stains in them. Did I mention both dresses where brand new! They do quick work as a dry Cleaners (Next Day), but I would definitely check every piece be for I left. read more

Took 5 silk Tommy Bahama shirts in for dry cleaning. One came back with some sort of white debris streaked across it which I was lucky enough to remove with water and some light brushing. One white one was completely ruined as it appeared to have been laundered and starched rather than dry cleaned. They attempted to cover the error with heavy ironing which did nothing more than stain the shirt more as the buttons bled color onto the shirt. Needless to say we will never return. read more

We are done using this dry cleaner. They dry cleaned items that were obviously machine washable, charging $7.50 for shirts that would have cost $2.25 to wash. Beware. They won't ask you if you prefer dry cleaning, they'll just go ahead and do it. read more

I have been to this cleaner 3 times. On two occasions they have damaged my clothing as a result of not following my instructions. When i asked for my jeans to be dry cleaned they put them in the wash. Neither time did they want to accept responsibilty or offered to pay for the damaged items. They are the worst dry cleaner I have ever been there and I would NEVER suggest any one patronize them if you value your clothes and money. read more

I would never use this business again. I went into the cleaners to pick up my clothes and the young lady charged my account $244.00 over the amount to be charged. The young lady then comes to the car with three tickets for me to sign. One for the $244.00 charged, one to credit it back into my account , and the other for the $24.91 due for my dry cleaning. At that time I stated that it is going to take three days to get my money put back into my account and the young lady stated that, the manager said to do it that way because it's a big bank so I should have it within 24 hours. When I asked the young lady to call her boss back, she stated that she didn't want to disturb her because she is with her family. Well isn't that something, you put my funds in limbo and you are spending time with your family. I then told her to let her boss know if any checks bounce against my account they are responsible and the young lady said she would. The next morning I called the manager and she stated that I was ranting and raving about my money because she was on the telephone, then someone lied. If speaking on my own behalf is ranting and raving call it what you must, because I have a right to state how I feel, and I would not rant and rave with children running a business. That is why I asked her to call her boss back. I was taught to own up to my mistakes, shouldn't they be responsible for their mistakes. Please tell me who should be responsible. Like the manger stated it is to early in the morning to speak with me and she don't have time for this. If this is the way customers are, treated or special customers should I state and I will leave it at that, I will not be patronizing this business ever again and as for other special customers you might want to think twice where you spend your money. Therefore for those of you that use that cleaners you better pay cash because they can care less about you. Thank God nothing bounced, because I would be responsible for the fees charged from the person cashing the check according to the store manager. Customer service for Tuckers cleaners is something to be desired. read more
