Your employee(s) apparently just leave whenever it suits them and leave a taped message on the door. I went today and arrived at your store about 10 minutes til 12. The handwritten note said "closed for lunch 12:30 until 1 pm". I had a number of errands to run and returned to the store between 2 and 2:30 pm. The closed sign was on the door, but 2 customers were inside. I tried the door and it was unlocked. I went in to wait for the employee. I noticed the customers were writing down which garments they were leaving along with their contact information. When they finished, I stepped up to the counter with my receipt. The lady behind the counter said "the person who works here had to leave. I don't know how to work the machine or anything". I explained that I had been to the store numerous times to pick up one item. She started twirling the clothes. I said it is a kneelength white coat, so it should be easy to spot. She looked through both racks with no luck. I asked her who I could speak with, who was in charge of operating the store. Nothing. She didn't seem to know anything or didn't want to tell me. I was really hot about this time. I found the phone number of the so called manager and called her. She whined about she had to do this and that. Not my problem! I still have no clue how this business operates. I do know that I still do not have my coat and it is no where to be found. I asked the "manager" her name and she hung up on me. What a disaster of a business. I was told to come back at 8 am tomorrow, (Friday). I live 20 miles out in the country, so I try to conserve gas by running all of my errands in one day if possible. Now, I have to go back into town and deal with another incompetent employee to try and retieve my coat. This is beyond ridiculous for 1 single item. I have a strong feeling I will never see that coat again. I will go back in the morning, hopefully the employee will not be at breakfast, and end this nightmare with Waters Dry Cleaning. I chose the largest of both, and spent about $17 total. That was a bargain. There were lots of chairs, folding stations, rolling baskets and tvs. The system has you load up a card and use that, instead of coins. Once you get the card, you can pick out your machines and follow the prompts. Pretty simple. I highly recommend this laundry facility.

Anyways. So I was in a pickle and had to get 5 USAF BHG uniforms done for a parade within like 3 days. These uniforms used to take the alterations shop on base about 2 weeks to do from scratch. I sent the specs over to Chrissy along with one of my older uniforms and with a few looks she had it. she knocked out five fully dressed USAF BHG uniforms from nothing to something in 3 days. that include hems, tapers, sew in creases, piping , ranks, waists. no easy task when you virtually have to take the pants apart to do it and then sew them back together again. the prices are more than fair especially if you look at the alternatives on base. she is a master of the trade. Need custom pillows made?she can do it ( I walked in and saw her doing it), need drapes? she can handle that too? need a dress done? bring it in. BY THE WAY-- Name tapes can be done here! why pay the Exchange and have to wait weeks when she can have them done for less and in no time flat. Name tape machine on site! To be a one person shop and provide the service that she does and in the timely manner that she does it makes this shop pretty dang good!

THEIR "REPAIR" RUINED MY SOFA UPHOLSTERY! DON'T GO HERE!…read more The upholstery on my sofa detaches and is machine washable. I tore it while putting it back on. I asked them sew a similar fabric on the UNDERSIDE to reinforce it and keep it from ripping more. Didn't need to be perfect, I knew the tear itself could not be sewn together but patching and stitching the underside could mitigate the damage. I came to pick it up and BOTH SIDES were covered in a fabric patch that's not even a close match! I was told that there wasn't a way to reinforce it from the underside so they just did both. Even if that were true (it's not), why did no one call me FIRST and tell me the work I requested and paid for wasn't possible? This is a very basic ask of a professional tailor, it's unbelievable they got it so wrong! This patch is so much worse than the original tear. The sofa was custom made in Japan and is a one of a kind piece. Pics of the tear and what they did to it. The pics of the denim repair is an example of what I asked them to do.

I am, however,…read morethankful for that because my experience was quite the opposite and if I read the poor reviews before I visited the store I may not have visited. My son just joined the local civil air patrol squadron and needed some patches sewn on his BDUs. Like I do so often, I waited to the last minute and needed it the next day. They informed me that they are a week out on alterations but might be able to get it done sooner. I had my wife bring the jacket and the patches to the store because the event was postponed therefore we had the time to wait. Again she told my wife it would be about a week and two days later we got a phone call saying that it was ready. I feel they went above and beyond to accommodate us and I will definitely be back for more alterations. One thing I noticed is the response to the poor reviews showed an effort to make things right.

When I went to pick it up the first time, it wasn't ready and I was told I needed to come back. When I returned again, they handed me the dress and ALL of the flowers had fallen off. What made the situation even worse was the customer service. Instead of showing any concern about what happened to my dress, I was made to feel like it was somehow my fault -- and I was still expected to pay FULL PRICE for the cleaning. Yes, I understand that I signed a waiver. However, this was a garment labeled DRY CLEAN ONLY. I would expect a professional dry cleaner to have the experience to recognize delicate details on a garment and know how to properly handle them, or at the very least warn me before hand if they believed cleaning it could cause significant damage. Accidents can happen, but how a business handles the situation afterward says a lot. The rude and dismissive customer service was just as disappointing as receiving my dress back damaged. I highly do not recommend this place. If you have clothing that you actually care about, take it somewhere else. RUN THE OTHER WAY!
