Would give zero stars. They ask numerous times to tell you their order after they just put it in the system, then they try to be fast and give you uncooked cold food. Like why is my taco, turkey and cheese and fajita freezing cold. $45 for cold undercooked food. Pathetic. read more

It had been over a decade and a half since I have had a Tubby's and we missed that nostalgic taste from long ago and wanted the kids to try it. They still have all of the favorites. We had a chicken and broccoli, chicken cheddar ranch, and burger pizza sub. We had the bread grilled as well. It was pretty good. One kid really liked it and would like more, one preferred the other sub shops in the area. I enjoyed it. It brought back some memories. It was a bit pricey for what we got and they were a bit skimpy with the filling. Next time I will ask for more cheddar and more ranch or a side of ranch. The shop is a bit run down, but the individuals working inside seemed friendly and were working hard to get out all of the orders. They seemed to have a steady stream of customers which is always a good sign. read more

Food was piping hot and freaking awesome! I would take a picture but I ate all of it. An empty bag wouldn't do justice. I'll make sure I take a picture next time. We went here last night and were upset when we were told they no longer have the lettuce builders. Since we have went to low-carb eating it's hard to find places with good options. Anyway, they let us make any sub into a salad. This was even better than getting the lettuce builders. I enjoyed the steak and 3 cheese and my wife had the chipotle cheeseburger (my wife said it had a nice kick). Both salads were packed, stacked and all that... putting those other sub places down the road to shame. Thanks Tubby's for making a great product and for offering it as a low carb option. read more

Hands down this is bar far my favorite Tubby's in Michigan. Ran and operated by the same people for years. It is always consistent and always good! Not to mention they are very fast. The bathroom is always clean as well. I enjoy that they have people magazines to read while you wait. The main reason I love this location so much is that they have what they call an "other menu" with items that only their Tubby's has ie. chicken philly (my favorite-add famous sauce), teriyaki chicken, texas bbq, pulled pork, etc. On Sundays and Tuesdays you can get two 12 inch subs for 10.99. Every order has coupons included. This location also has their own facebook page. I am really going to miss them in AZ! read more

I have been eating at this Tubby's for over 20 years & had always enjoyed their food. I feel like lately there has been a slight change in the quality; there is more bread & less meat on the subs. I made the mistake of ordering a tuna sub a few weeks ago & it was the driest thing ever. Sometimes they even charge extra if I ask for yellow peppers on the sandwich, & they only put a couple on there & charge 50 cents! Sometimes they don't charge though, I guess it depends who is working. The worst thing that happened was yesterday, I decided to eat there & watched the lady wiping down all the booths, both the table & SEATS with the same damp cloth. Then she used the same cloth to wipe down the pop machine & front counter. That seems very unsanitary to me & as much as I used to enjoy Tubby's, I think that was it for me & I won't be eating there any more. read more

I paid something like 10 bucks for a 12 inch sub. Mostly bread, and it was dry. There was about 1 oz of meat and cheese. There are pictures of subs all over the walls in there that look wayyyyyy better than what I ate. It just adds insult to injury. read more

The fries from here are good (seasoned curly fries). I got a 6inch Philly cheese steak sub. It was small. I didn't expect it to be small (width wise) as maybe something you'd give a kid. Tasted good though. read more

I use this Tubby's more often than others while in the city. They have always been hit and miss. My order hardly ever changes. It is a 12inch Steak mushroom and cheese. I have found if I don't say anything when I order they really rip me on the mushrooms. I have to tell them please don't forget the mushrooms like you did last time to actually get more than 1-2 very small mushroom pieces. Come on, mushrooms are cheap! Also I have been noticing less and less actual meat on my subs. This past week I stopped and got my favorite and forgot to mention not to forget my mushrooms and I also made it a jumbo (extra meat) . I found one mushroom piece and there was no extra meat on that sub. I fear I will have to go out of my way and drive to other to Tubby's to find one who isnt so chintzy. read more
