I am unsure if the woman who massaged me was brand new, but I had many reasons to believe so. For background, I was getting a 90 minute combo. 1) I forgot to take my necklace of and she kept rubbing right over my necklace which ended up scratching me. Other times I have left my necklace on, they ask me to remove it or they move it out of the way. 2) She would only apply little amounts of lotion and kept massaging once it dried up which was very uncomfortable. 3) Her technique was repetitive and sloppy, making my whole body move unnecessarily leaving me unable to relax. 4) When she worked on my back, she dug her forearm into my ribs and spine which hurt quite a bit. Again, this was repetitive and sloppy. I ended the massage early by over 30 minutes and was charged full price for the 90 minutes. I gave my feedback and the response was to tell them I dont want her massaging me next time. Disappointed to say the least.

The reflexology- the arches, heels, toes, and the pressure points on feet felt so satisfying. Anna basically worked my entire body and even stretched me. After the massage, Anna gave me a bottle of water. $50 including tip for a wonderful hour of massage is hard to beat. I left feeling so loose and relaxed. I want to be hovering in that magical little space between…read moreconsciousness and a coma--almost asleep, but just awake enough to appreciate the fact that someone is rubbing me and I have absolutely nowhere else to be. Well. My massage at AA Foot Massage was not that. I spent the entire f*cking hour AND A HALF on HIGH ALERT, every muscle clenched, because I genuinely started to believe this man had been hired to kill me. This wasn't a massage. This was an interrogation. This man was DIGGING INTO ME with his thumbs and elbows like there was classified information buried underneath my shoulder blades. And somehow, he possessed an absolutely remarkable ability to locate EVERY SINGLE SPOT on the human body that hurts like absolute hell and then apply the force of a hydraulic press directly to it. I was jerking around. Gripping the massage table for dear life. Making facial expressions normally reserved for childbirth and exorcisms. At one point I'm pretty sure my soul briefly left my body, looked around, and went, "Yeah, I'm gonna sit this one out." And listen--I HAVE A HIGH PAIN TOLERANCE. I like a solid medium-pressure massage. I'm not asking to be lightly dusted with a feather while Enya plays in the background. But this was f*cking GUANTANAMO. I even very politely asked him to lighten up. He graciously said, "Okay." Did he lighten up? ABSOLUTELY THE F*CK NOT. If anything, I think he interpreted "lighter please" as "Sir, you have yet to access the deepest layers of my skeletal system. Please continue." By the time I left, I didn't feel relaxed. I felt like I'd survived something. I now need a massage to recover from my massage, except unfortunately this experience has made me afraid of massages, so I guess I'll just remain tense forever. Five stars for commitment. Zero stars for my will to live.

Excellent service for an unbeatable price…read more After a tough work week and a haircut appointment, I did some research for a good massage place nearby and found Skycloud Reflexology. I called asking if they accept walk-ins, and they do, I told them that I'd be free in a few hours, which they agreed to accommodate. I showed up and opted for the 60-minute combination massage (full body) for only $55! Amazing!!! As I was escorted to my private room, I was asked if I preferred a male or female masseuse. I appreciated this question and responded that I would prefer a female unless it would cause a wait time, in which case a male would be fine. I ended up with Lily (or maybe Lili, my apologies I couldn't hear her name well). She made sure I was comfortable, asking me if I wanted my massage at medium or hard intensity, which I chose medium. She also intermittently asked if I was feeling ok throughout the massage. Overall, the massage included: arms, back (with hot stone), thighs, calves, feet (and a hot water foot soak), some scalp/ear/temples. Note: "A surcharge of 3% will apply to all credit card payments. Alternatively, you may wish to pay by cash which will not incur a surcharge." I chose to pay for my service and tip fully in cash. I accepted a stamp card, which if you receive 10 massages you can earn +20 minutes for free. While it's a little far from home, I'd happily return next time I'm in the mood for a massage and tell my friends for future friend dates!
