I recently had Bay area friends visiting. They had a run-in with someone who had banged up the left rear bumper of their Lexus SUV. I mentioned I had read some great Yelp reviews on a nearby business that might be able to help. As they were in town for a week, I called JGS and reached a vm telling me the mail box was full. Hate when that happens:)! I decided to try texting the number. Almost immediately, Greg answered and said he was on a job and could he contact me the next day. He also verified problems with his voice mail box. True to his word, he called. We agreed I would text him photos of the damaged area and he would get back soon. Shortly after sending photos, he texted saying he could definitely fix most of the marks. However, a couple of scratches looked deep. He was unsure about them until he evaluated in person. He provided a dollar estimate and how long it would take. I was quite impressed. He was so cool about arranging a day and time that would work for my friends. I was not at home when the work was completed. But I can tell you the bumper looks fabulous! My friends were thrilled. They said Greg was a super nice guy and arrived exactly on time. They only detailed the interior, but the results were excellent. The car is about 14 years old and had some pretty bad stains from spills that had built up over the years. After the detailing, the interior looked almost like new. The job ended up taking quite a while, but the detailer was extremely thorough and worked consistently throughout the entire process. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the good communication along the way. This was also a special project because the detailing was part of a gift for my parents' 40th wedding anniversary, so I was very happy with how the interior turned out. I received other quotes but they were either competitive and "dry" in personality/care to schedule or simply outlandish in cost. I decided to go to Bryan and was sent the invoice for deposit. We set an appointment and met at his shop in Rocklin. Patrick, his installer, was equally as professional and passionate about the work they did. The clear PPF on the front bumper was done well that I decided to go back the following week to complete the front end. The rear that I did not get PPF, was ceramic coated and the car looks fabulous! I'm extremely satisfied with all our interactions, the cost, warranty and care that was put forth. I will definitely use this business again for additional PPF needs, tinting, etc. This is a veteran owned business and I'd highly recommend the craftsmanship!

I dropped the vehicle off at 8:45 AM and was called for pickup before noon. As I walked up to my vehicle at the shop, I immediately noticed visible bugs and contamination still left on the exterior after the ceramic coating service, water spots on surfaces, and multiple interior areas that were still dirty or missed entirely. I took photos immediately after pickup to document everything clearly. When I contacted the shop privately first and sent the photos, I was later told the $150 "interior detail" only included a wipe-down, vacuum, and mat wash. In my opinion, that is more of a basic cleaning service than what most customers would reasonably expect from an interior detailing package at that price point. Even for a simple wipe-down and vacuum service, there was still visible dust and debris left in areas like the trunk mat. I've had professional detailing and ceramic coating work done before, so I understand what proper prep work and finish quality should generally look like. This experience did not meet those expectations. What disappointed me most was the response afterward. Instead of professionally addressing the concerns shown in the photos, Bryan T. (Business Owner) called me "A PROBLEM" for speaking up about the quality of the work. If the work had been done properly from the beginning, there would not have been a problem to discuss in the first place. I never demanded a full refund or anything unreasonable. I simply wanted the concerns acknowledged and handled professionally. The shop later refunded $100 for the interior concerns, but the conversation eventually became personal and unprofessional, including remarks attacking my disability status that had absolutely nothing to do with the service itself.

I got the Supreme Wash for $44.99, which sounds like my car should come back looking like it just rolled off a showroom floor. Instead, it came back looking like it briefly thought about being clean. There was still bird poop on the hood, windshield, and front bumper... you know, the main parts you actually see. The car also still had that nice road-haze film on it, which I assume was included free of charge. Inside, someone went absolutely wild with the spray bottle. My rear door panels were soaked, and my instrument cluster was glistening like it had just come out of a rainstorm. I half expected to find a snorkel in the cup holder. They did take out my rubber mats, but judging by the results, I think they mostly just showed them the vacuum and put them back. Some spots weren't vacuumed at all. The tire dressing also looks... let's call it "diet tire shine." Very watery. Either that or someone whispered "tire shine" near them and called it good. The most impressive part? I took it home, sprayed the bird poop with a bottle and wiped it off with a microfiber towel. Took two minutes. Which raises the question: what exactly did I pay $44.99 for? I even left a $5 tip because I'm nice... but that will definitely be my final charitable donation to this establishment. If this is how the wash goes, I'm a little nervous about the "lube" part. Overall, it's just the little things: wiping the car fully, getting the obvious stuff off, not power-washing the interior electronics, and maybe... actually cleaning the car. For the price, I expected a lot better. I won't be back.
