Came in to investigate my older diesel engine having excess emissions and a lower gas efficiency than in the past. They did nothing but lie to me and fail to adequately fix my van. I ended up taking it to a different shop, where they told me all the work that was "done" had to be redone due to the terrible quality of workmanship. First of all they did fix my car and we're the only ones to get us in with out a 6 month wait. However we got told twice the car could be ready this day then nope the next day. Finally they get it done and we go pick it up. They were fixing my heat vent and my defroster unit. I go over the car and look in my center console and all my change is gone! There was no reason for them to be in there. Now yes it was probably only $5-$10 total but it's the principle! My car will never be back to this dealership as they employee thieves. I have taken cars in to places before and never had this issue. Why? Why do you feel the need to go through someone else things? I get times are tough but guess what you saw one of the car seats in the back right? They are for us too. To top it off it just feels like it was brushed off by the guy my husband told. He said he could tell the service manager and have him look over the cameras but what do you think you will find? Your employees know how to go about things when you have cameras. And even then where is the apology. I don't feel good now at all. Lesson learned dont just take out bigger things take everything out of your car. And I mean everything. read more

Dropped off my car with no appt. on a Saturday. Manager was there training and said they weren't open, even though the sign indicated that it was. I filled out the paper, and dropped my keys in the box. Called in Monday when they were supposedly open, and was told I couldn't have may car seen for another 3 weeks. So today 3rd week, when I called they said I needed an appt. to be seen, which they didn't bother to tell me when I called in the 2 times before, and it was going to be another week before my car could be seen. If I could give them 0 stars I would. So now I'm looking for a real business to take my vehicle to. I couldn't trust them at this point to change a light bulb. read more

Update 5/25/23 After the nightmare that was dealing with TS&S and their horrible customer service, the turbo made it 3 weeks before it started acting up again. When we went in to talk to them about it they had no concern for their customers, and they wouldn't even look at it until over a month later. So not only were they dishonest about when it would be fixed the first time, it was never fixed right, and they didn't care and wouldn't even look at it. This company is a nightmare and doesn't care about their consumers at all. read more

This is a long post but the details are relevant. For those with little time here is the brief summary. TLDR; Charged for warranty covered repair, had to fight tooth and nail to be reimbursed, the repairs caused additional issues, those issues were relatively minor and simple and it still took two weeks of not having my truck to have them not actually fix it. To top it all off when they were confronted about it not working they simply made up an alternate means of my 4wd system working. One i knew what false for my model of truck. To demonstrate it working they manually locked in my hubs to get me out the door. Checked it and indeed my 4wd in auto still does not work. At the end of April 2024 I dropped my truck off for a vibration/noise during tight turns. They called me up and said it needed seals and axles replaced for the front end. The service manager said those parts were not covered under my warranty services. I was under the bumper to bumper period of a Ford CPO warranty. I stated that those parts are listed as expressly covered and that there must be an error. The service manager got defensive. Retold me I have no coverage and would not entertain an error on his end. I called Ford customer service (CS)(worthy of its own rant) they called on my behalf and instructed the service manager to just file the claim and they can try and see what the issue is. To their shock the service manager refused to file the claim and insisted I have no warranty. I then had to spend close to 20 hours on the phone trying to sort this all out. Finally, the decision was made by Ford CS and myself to have the truck towed to another dealer. However, when Ford CS called to have the truck transferred to the other dealer they were told that the repairs were done and that they had submitted a claim that was denied by Ford. I had not authorized the repairs. When I picked up the truck I had to pay $2500 dollars for a fully covered repair. When I checked the work-order I saw that there was a note saying that the "4wd actuators fell apart when doing the axle work but were put back together and appeared to work." Yes, it actually says "appeared" to work. So I go to check my auto hub 4wd function and sure enough. Does not work. When checking the vehicle I also notice my front differential is leaking. They had done a bad job with the seal. Before bringing it back to get these new issues fixed I was still trying to get paid back for my warranty repairs. I had Ford warranty service on the phone and had them call the dealer on my behalf. This time someone from Subaru of Bend was covering and that is when we both found out that not only was my repair fully covered but that TSS Ford had never submitted a claim for warranty. The Subaru of Bend rep was responsive and helpful. At this point we began the process of getting me reimbursed which took a couple more weeks. Fast forward to trying to get the 4wd fixed. I left my truck for a week. Not fixed. Manager called on his personal phone to pick a fight with me still not letting go their insistence I didn't have a warranty. In spite of my reimbursement being approved and my warranty fully established. It was bizarre. After communicating what happened to Subaru of Bend rep there was a personnel change and I was assured my truck would be fixed right. So at the end of June. This started in April. I leave my truck for a week. They don't get it in for a diagnosis and they just threw parts at it the following Monday. They call saying it is fixed. I pick it up and try 4wd and sure enough. Does not work in auto hubs. They bring it in and put it on the rack to show me it works. All wheels spinning. This is where it gets bad. The tech tries to tell me my when in my hubs are in auto the 4wd only kicks in without traction. This is a F350 all the auto hubs do is make it so you don't have to get out to put the hubs in. There is no 4 auto on these trucks. They had locked my hubs in to show me it working. Sure enough when tested in 4wd conditions. Does not work. 15 days in shop still broke. read more

While vacationing in Bend, I was in need of an oil change and TSS was able to get me in right away. When trying to schedule basic service with several of the Ford dealerships in the Portland metro area, they were all scheduled over one month out, which is absolutely ridiculous. We had our 5th wheel with us so we had to park and unhook the trailer. Amador Young, the service tech who helped me did an awesome job, he put a rush on our service so we didn't have to sit out in the hot hot sun for very long. Everything was done quickly and efficiently. I haven't had great luck with other Ford dealership's service lately, but I definitely had a 5 star experience with TSS and Amador today! read more

I brought my f150 in for a recall issue they said it was pas the allowed mileage for that recall issue. I told them it would not start at times they said they could see what the problem was. They looked at the vehicle and found some problems, but never called me. I called and they told me what was wrong. I told them to fix it and it been over a month and I still haven't heard back from them on the progress. I am disappointed with their service as of today. read more

Get it in writing. I have never left a dealership this angry before. Asked for price including all fees and taxes. Drove almost 3 hours to get there and saw price on paperwork was 400 more than discussed due to fees etc. Was told the salesman never put it in writing even though I requested it in writing twice and was moved forward to the financing with no issues. Then the " do we still have a deal" from a very rude and condescending business manager. Tonto it all off, the gas tank was below 1/4 and they would not fill it. Sorry to say. Bad experience. Had 12 noon appointment for a simple wheel alignment. Got there at quarter til. Damned if they weren't 30 min behind all ready. Said I would walk down to binary call me with results of courtesy check. Well 1:15 rolls around no call so I walk back. Get there at 1:30. Ahhhh. Just up on rack. And guy went to Lunch. WTF !!! I had to be to mountain by 4. Told them forget it get down from rack I got to go. 15 more min and car off rack and in lot but tech never told desk guy. So 2 hours for nothing done. Way to go. Saw their used car ad online, I was willing to travel to check the car out, asked for them to do a pre-buy/ condition inspection (which almost ANY mechanic would do for either free or twenty bucks) and takes 20 minutes (shows brake levels, any leaks, battery health, etc..). They refused, dealer said they only sell "as is" and don't even touch or look at any issues, even though the sale comes from their dealership with their name on the transaction... this is highly unusual and not right. I came to the lot just to check out the commuter car, oil leaks, useless battery, several other issues that one of their mechanics easily would have seen in a ten minute inspection, and because of their failure, it wasted both of our times. Still wanted to oversell me twice what the KBB value was, even with all the maintenance items. No thanks, see ya. read more

Ok so I am not a regular customer of these guys because I live in Portland but I definitely would be if they were closer. My girlfriend was coming over the pass on her way down to bend, ran out of windshield washer fluid and the hood latch for my 2013 Outback is broken so she couldn't stop to add fluid herself. She had a major freak out so I called these guys, explained the situation and told them I'd pay for them to help her out and they said to have her stop right and and they'd top off the fluids and help her out for no charge! That is a classy move I'm just sayin and shows that they know how to treat people even when they know they won't really gain anything from it. Thanks guys!! read more

Our car broke down near Bend and they fixed it. It works now. They tried a relatively inexpensive fix before finding that it would not work - most repair places that are also dealers will go right away for the big-bucks solution. So I'd recommend them for auto repair. read more

In November of 2016, I purchased a car for my mother.  We told the salesperson our budget but he started having my mother test drive cars way out of our price range. After hours of no,  They finally brought her one and said it had a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty on it that covered everything for three years.  First lie... they sold us a demo car as new car.   We also bought scotch guard treatment for seats, as the seats were white for 500 they charged us 600.  One year later, When a stain appeared on the seat they could not remove though  warranty stated they would replace the whole seat at least that is what we were told we got told that company went out of business, after weeks of run around they finally sent someone to wash the seat.  Stain is still there. They lied again and said Ford no longer is making cars just trucks so we can not get you another seat.  We asked for a refund said need to go through manager.  To say the least that never happened and their are still stains on back seat. She took the car in to another dealership as Madras Ford is NOT a place for honesty.  And they informed her the warranty expired in March... we bought the car in nov.. she showed them her contract and they called Madras and were told it was a demo car that's why.. NEVER were I or my mother ever told the warranty would be cut short or it was a demo car , she was actually told the car was returned and that a customer bought a different car when she asked why 2000 miles were on it  and they told her it was still considered a new car with full head to tow , top to bottom warranty.  She tried multiple times to contact the Ford Corp.  They kept referring her to mgt at dealership, he would not return her calls or take them.  Save your money go to a reputable dealership.  T S & S FORD IS NOT IT.  AVOID! read more

Sometimes you run into a jewel when you're least expecting it; such was my experience with the TS&S Ford Service Department. A few weeks back I got a notice from Ford regarding two recalls on my E450 chassis (actually it's an almost new Class-C motorhome). I checked with the local Ford dealers, including in the Tri-Cities Washington and in Spokane, and none would even look at it because it was part of a motorhome (they said they couldn't handle it). With the help of Ford Customer Service, I located TS&S Ford in Madras, Oregon and gave them a call. They told me they were more than happy to take a look at my E450, and so I scheduled an appointment with them, which was today (4/19/22). The TS&S dealership is a bit over a 3-hour drive from where I live. So, I arrived a bit before 8 am this morning and a service department representative was immediately there to greet me. Haley wrote up the service order, and Michael did the technical work. The main concern turned out only needing inspection, and the part to repair the other issue was in stock. I was in and out in less than an hour, including paperwork. I spent some extra time talking with Haley, Lisa and Michael about the local area prior to leaving for home and got some great recreation advice. Bottom line, these are the folks I think everyone hopes to deal with, and the type of service we all hope we receive. One good turn deserves another, so I've made a decision to have scheduled maintenance work on my F150 King Ranch done by the folks at TS&S. Like I said, it's a bit out of my way, but I can schedule it for when I'm in the area. When you get the type of customer service and satisfaction that I got this morning, it makes you want to go back because you know you'll get the care your vehicle and you deserve. Brought my truck in to get checked for a normal service...its a high mileage truck; basic check and see if anything is wrong. I explained that the radiator blew out three days ago and was replaced with a new one. I was called back from the service department and was told the tech said he thought something was wrong with the water pump cause he could smell radiator fluid. My response was "You think!, I just told you the radiator blew and I just had it replaced". The next day, they called me back and said everything looked great, but you should replace your spark plugs at a cost of $750.80!!! 16 plugs, 3 1/2 hours of labor, then the person stated he might have mis-spoke about the labor. I've had quite a bit of work done from this service department before. Not anymore! I think it would be better to go somewhere else. This dealership/service department seems more interested in profit and milking the customer. Their explanation was, "Well, the time to repair is what was recommended from Pro-Auto Tech". Why don't you do what is right for the customer instead of maximizing your profit? You might bring customers coming back! read more

I purchased a car there and had a lot of warranty work of which was all very sub par. I think it's true what they say about the organization. Very poor service and just plain bad mechanics! Looks like my review goes along with the others. While towing our travel trailer, the transmission in our 2017 Ford F350 DRW overheated which left us stuck on the side of the road for a bit, then was slipping all along the U.S. 97. I had Ford Roadside tow the truck to TS&S, where they kept the truck for 8 days, then told me there wasn't anything wrong with the transmission. My automotive background told me otherwise and I knew this was incorrect. I had to take the truck to an aftermarket shop where they did what TS&S should have done in the first place. They dropped the transmission pan and found singed fluid. TS&S also left the same screw in the back tire I had when it was towed there. I am not sure which part of the $75,000 we invested in the truck so we could pull our trailer with it that they don't understand. Damon then told Ford Customer Relations that we were towing too heavy when no one from TS&S has ever physically seen our trailer. If you are in this area, DO NOT take your vehicle there for service. read more

Two and a half years later, I went in to a dealership as all four door handles are loose was told warranty expires 8 months before the 3 year warranty was up so end of this month! March not November! Their excuse was it was a demo car , which myself or my son were never told so we lost 8 months off a warranty! I would rate them minus if available crooked crooks!!!! Manager still has not returned calls !!!! They have not kept one iota of their word plus found out they sold us a car that is involved in a class action suit for known transmission problems and they sold the car for 8000 above value price!! Update 2.5 years later when not willing to honor a 599.00 warranty they tell us if you remove all negative reviews we will refund your money. Really? It's our money found out when we filed with dept of justice they had two other complaints against them be warned . Update after filing complaints with the atty general and bbb they offered to refund our seat warranty money however that has not happened they say we are harnessing them because we update as to what is happening online. They now have an atty have offered to make things right but so far nothing. We will have to get another atty ourselves . UPDATE, after contacting atty general and bbb tsns ford had their atty offer us an inferior warranty to the new car warranty we were suppose to have and refused to even tell us what few things were covered they also offered our 600 refunded we paid extra for stainguard that they have not honored if we quit telling people how they have treated us . Now we hear nothing back from them as usual promises to shut you up with no results avoid this dealership they own 4 in the area be careful. Since they sold us a car involved in a class action lawsuit with a dangerous transmission maybe they can make this nightmare with ford dealership right! They are also known as TS&S ford read more

Not very honest dealership. Backs out of deals made. I would not recommend doing business with. I was in your business in 2015 ready to purchase a new F350. I drove down from Bend to work with Lacey to find out that the deal she quoted me for the truck I was going to purchase, then your dealership wanted an extra $5000 because the dealer had added something to the truck prior to the quote she gave me. I ended up purchasing a new F350 Power stroke from a dealer that quoted me a price and came through with the deal. read more
