We made a reservation for lunch on September 24, 2022 approx one week in advance for a party of 4. When we arrived for our reservation, we waited to be seated with 2 parties who walked in just before us, those 2 parties, a 4, & a 3 had NO reservations. They were seated almost immediately in the outside area. No one asked or looked at the reservation book to see if they needed to leave an outside (much better seating area for a party that had a confirmed reservation) when we finally spoke to the young man host, he acknowledged our reservation and said, "the only table I have is this one, right in front of the door." We said "that is not an acceptable location for a reservation, especially when you and the other hostess just seated 2 parties without reservations in much better areas." He said, well that's all I have, or you can wait at least 15 minutes for another table. We chose to go somewhere else. A restaurant that has no concept about how to take a reservation, and prepare for reservations, will not get our business, nor would we recommend them to anyone. read more

they hav such Amazing Organic food. I recommend coming to eat here breakfast lunch or dinner. especially ask for Mercedes. She is an amazing waitress. Ask for her!! read more

I will say that the decor of the restaurant and the patio is adorable, but the food left me with a lot to be desired. I ordered the Hawaiian breakfast with kahlua pig and rice and hubby ordered the breakfast quesadilla. Hubby liked his food but I didn't think mine tasted that great and it tasted really sweet like they added maple syrup or something. I just couldn't eat it all so I asked for a box but never ate the leftovers. Prices were above average. For two entrees, we spent over $25. I'm not sure I will be back. read more

Wooowww. Maybe it's just me but it seems To be a challenge to find restaurants that focus on quality healthy food that's also amazingly delicious in this place hits the spot 100%. I'm not usually one to get avocado toast because most places keep it pretty bland but I could eat their avocado toast every day! Seasoned for such robust flavor. So good. I only have a lot of gluten-free options. The gluten-free pancakes were phenomenal as well. It's one of those places you can go casual or dressy on a nice date. A little more expensive than your average brunch spot, but if you're into healthy food it's pretty reasonable in comparison to other places. Highly recommend! read more

We were greeted and escorted to our table as soon as we walked in! Our server, Mercedes, did an excellent job helping us guide our way through the menu. We were checked on frequently through the afternoon rush. Our food was phenomenal. The fries were thin and crispy (Just as we love it). The ambiance is as cozy as a café can be. Thank you for a fantastic service! read more

I'm so disappointed in our visit. We hadn't been to Tryst in a couple years. We revisited to recapture our engagement. My hubby proposed to me there in his excitement to give me my ring! Tryst was one of the first places we went we first began dating. It was always so delicious and had such yummy options. Not any longer...Our server was extremely pleasant and helpful. The food was the disappointment. My hubby was so hungry he devoured his but said it was mediocre. I'm a bit more particular about my food. I ordered the seared tuna salad- it looked pleasant enough. But, that's t was warm...limp and warm- like it sat out on the counter all day. Call me crazy- but, if you throw a bunch of good stuff on unappealing salad it doesn't fool me. I didn't finish my salad and had it removed from our bill. Super disappointed that Tryst has lost what made it special by removing favorites from the menu leaving nothing intriguing in its place. read more

Always a delicious breakfast and Sasha is a ray of sunshine! The avocado toast is yummmmy!

Awesome food any time of day but especially love the brunch menu! Lots of healthy options and bottomless mimosas for the win!

Nice breakfast spot. Lots of healthy options with delicious vegetables in the morning which was great. Perfect for dairy / gluten free

The food was delicious! We had the smoked salmon toast for the first time and it was great. I've also had the caprese avocado toast and it's one of my favorites. Our server Sasha was very kind and helped us pick our dish. Would definitely recommend trying this place out! read more

Amazing place for breakfast! I love the ambience, the music they have playing, the young ladies who work there are amazing, very extensive menu, I did not get any drinks but they all look very creative. The food that my friend and I had was very good. I had the eggs Benedict and it's some of the best I've ever had. This little café by 930 on a Sunday was almost completely full, and for good reason! Great job to the people who run this joint read more

From the time my nephew and I entered to the time we left the service was amazing. My 5 year old nephew really enjoyed the burger and fries. The fries weren't over cooked and they were seasoned just right. The sweet potato burger was so filling and wasn't over packed with to much healthy craziness like other restaurants try to do. The orange juice tasted so fresh it was a great way to start my morning. Thank you for the great food and service. Definitely a must try. read more

The food here has been consistent over the few years I've tried it. I'll admit, I was a little disappointed to see that avocado toast was the only addition to the breakfast menu after all this time. Granted I've mostly sat at the bar, but service has always felt like a strong suit of this place. Two bite check backs were quick, refills were done when drinks were half full(empty, depending on what type of reviewer you are.) The underrated and under appreciated trick of dropping the bill off when the food gets delivered to expedite the process during lunch hours was appreciated. As far as food goes - stick to the "tryst signature dishes." Obviously a restaurant is going to know what are their "go-to's," and which are the "menu fillers." I suppose that's advice that goes beyond Tryst.. but those little leaf icons haven't steered me wrong yet. My one constructive criticism of the place: run some specials that highlight how much local produce go into your foods!! I know the menu says it, but "local" plays second fiddle to "organic." Flaunt it, rotate some new stuff in, and see if a new meal sticks! Thanks Rachael ! -B7 POS3 read more

Came for breakfast after a hike. I had the pecan French toast. Expected something a little different, but still good. Ordered a side of sweet potato tots- good, just expensive for the amount given. Coffee was excellent. Would come back if I was in the area again. They have a large menu that looks amazing! Just a bit pricey. read more

Over priced. Fries were close to burnt. 3 stripes of cod. Bathroom clean .Restaurant clean. Waitresses vapid.

This place was so good we had to eat here 2 days in a row! The ingredients were so fresh and cooked to perfection. The patio area is comfortable and heated fro those colder days. We had their breakfast and lunch and both were awesome so you can't go wrong with whatever you choice is. read more

I came here for lunch while I was in town visiting. I was impressed with the menu and how basically everything on the menu can be made gluten free (I'm gf and it can be tough eating at restaurants). I will warn that literally almost every gf option comes with an up charge but I kind of expected that. My mom and I sat in their outdoor area but it's covered for "winter" lol it was like 75 degrees out and beautiful but it was an airy space which was nice EXCEPT for the fact that the shopping centers "designated smoking area" is through sort of like a hallway next to the restaurant and the breeze was blowing the cigarette smell into the patio area. Obviously this is something that the restaurant cannot control, it was just unfortunate. I had a salad which was ok, I regretted not ordering some other options that sounded good. It's not that the salad wasn't good, it was good just nothing great. My mom had the biggest omelette I have ever seen. It looked great. Looking around at other people's food- it all looked really good. I will come back here when I'm in town again! read more

Great place for healthy breakfast options! The gluten free breakfast sandwich was amazing! Go see Rachel for excellent service.

I love breakfast here. We eat outside because the place is little smaller but not a problem. The only thing I would say is you will want to be ok with taking your time. The food took little long to receive but the food was great. Customer service was awesome too. The food is fresh and you can tell when you eat. Definitely a great place to go. The food and service was great! Our waitress was very kind and helpful. I loved the bacon and chocolate chip pancakes

We arrived at their opening time of 7am and it wasn't open yet. We waited for about 5 minutes and the girl inside walked up and unlocked it but just walked away. I thought, hmm, shouldn't you open the door and say hello or welcome? We were told to sit wherever so we sat at a table where I was facing the door. The lights by the door all kept flickering and shutting off. It was messing with my eyes the entire time. We all ordered food with our unpleasant waitress who was the only one there and the one that didn't open the door. She seemed annoyed to have customers. I ordered a breakfast quesadilla with none of the breakfast stuff, just cheese and peppers and it was good. The coffee was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their food. I don't think I would come back because the service was horrendous. Other people there noticed it as well. The food was good though. read more

Delicious food & super friendly service. Clean, very nice outdoor patio. Will definitely come back.
