My siblings and I chose Trusted Transitions of Colorado, Bobbie Jo Kinsey, to move our beloved mother to an assisted living facility in January 2023. Bobbie Jo was wonderful to work with, and proved to be very experienced in finding ways to make the best use of the limited floor space in the new apartment. My mother wanted to take as much of her furniture as possible, and downsizing was emotionally very hard on her. Bobbie Jo designed a layout for the living room that we would never have thought of on our own, placing the sofa across the living room rather than along a wall, which essentially created two separate areas: 1) Living room/TV viewing space, and 2) Kitchen table/chairs space within the same room, yet it doesn't feel at all cramped. We love the layout and it allowed our mother to take more living room furniture with her, which made her very happy. We were so impressed with how quickly and efficiently Bobbie Jo and her team packed up the old place the morning of the move, even shrink-wrapping the entire dresser so that it could be moved as is without having to remove anything from the drawers! Bobbie Jo set up the new apartment the afternoon of the move, with us present to weigh in on where we wanted certain things to go, such as where we thought the pictures on the wall would look best. (But you wouldn't have to be present at all, if you prefer not to be, when she sets up the new place.) Even though a really big predicted snowstorm moved in that afternoon making the roads bad, Bobbie Jo still went above and beyond to make sure the apartment was to our liking before she left. We are hopeful that we won't have to move our mother again, but if we do, we would certainly hire Bobbie Jo again. Highly recommend! read more
