We needed a plumber because our plumbing was backing up. I put in a request through Yelp's "Get Pricing & Availability" feature and got quotes from a couple of companies. I selected this company based on the favorable reviews. We spoke with someone and explained what was going on and were told that someone would be out that afternoon between 1-3 pm. We received a call from the service tech before 1:00 pm letting us know that he was on his way. When he got to our house, we told him what was going on. He was able to fix the problem and even found the outside clean-out plug in our yard that my husband was going crazy trying to find. Excellent prompt service. We would use this company again if we have issues with our plumbing backing up.

Crack in toilet

We hired Trust Rooter to replace our leaking hot water heater inside our condo. We prescheduled several days ahead of time since we were out of town, and the technician arrived on time within the service window. He did great/fast work replacing our water heater and changing a broken valve. He noted a few code-compliant updates he made, which I also appreciated. He was very kind and professional, and also worked while my kids were being loud nearby, which is not easy/fun. The hot water heater is working well and we have no complaints there. The issue that arose after TR left was in our bathroom. I immediately found a new crack on our toilet base. The technician asked ahead of time to use the toilet to drain the hot water heater, which I consented to. I know this is a new crack because I had just previously cleaned/wiped the toilet before he came. We called the company to report the issue and after a lot of back and forth, they claim there is no way their work could have cracked the toilet. I also do not want to make any false claims, but I definitely know that the toilet was not cracked before Trust Rooter arrived. TR was very friendly and respectful while we discussed the complaint and offered a small discount (see below) to replace the toilet, but we chose to go another route to replace the toilet as we have lost trust in TR. EDIT: the offer to replace to toilet was 20% off the toilet cost and 40% off labor.

The price only went up after they knocked a huge hole in the cement wall outside so I was a little pressured to do it. The job was supposed to take 5-7 days. It took months! Months of having a gigantic tunnel under my home. Filling with rainwater, a huge whole in the exterior wall, and my back pavers destroyed. If I didn't call them daily, they wouldn't show up to work. When I did call them, they seemed like they had no idea about my project. Again, this went on for months. When it finally came time for an inspector to approve the job they laughed at how bad it was. The original leak was still leaking. They said it was unsafe and it fails for many reasons. In the end I don't even think the original leak was fixed as the problem that made me want to have it fixed is still there. There's so much more to write but it would be too long. Every day for months was a disaster.

They sent a plumber on 4/27/2026 to provide an estimate to pull a city permit. He told me it would cost $1,200. I was astonished because the architect who drew the plans told me it should only cost around the city's actual permit fee of $500 to $600. When I refused the initial price, the plumber went outside to talk to his boss, came back inside, and lowered the price to $900. Because I was in a tight spot and needed the permits and approvals to finally resolve this issue, I agreed. Next, a woman in the office tried to insist that I pull a "structural" permit instead of just a plumbing permit. I did not ask for this, nor was it necessary, as the remodel did not involve any structural issues. She kept insisting, but I stood my ground and said no. They finally agreed to pull just the plumbing permit, as requested during my initial contact. After I paid the $900, they pulled the permit and emailed me a copy. I waited and waited, until one day I received a violation letter from the city stating that I was going to be fined because an inspection was never requested. I was shocked; navigating that process is the plumbing company's job, and I had no idea how it worked. I frantically tried to call them, but their phones were not working. I then contacted the city, and they informed me that I could not schedule the inspection myself, but the company had to do it. The city provided me with the owner's phone number. When I called him, he calmly said, "Oh, yeah, our phones are down. Send an email to Tiffany and she'll make the appointment." Tiffany scheduled the appointment for the next day. However, when the inspector arrived, the plumber never showed up. It was just the inspector and me. I had no idea how to proceed or what to say. The inspector told me he could not pass the inspection because he needed the plumber to explain the materials used and the remodeling process. Desperate and in tears, I called the architect who drew the plans. Thank God for him--he told the inspector he would handle it and briefly explained what I had been through with this bathroom. The inspector accepted his explanation, and thankfully, I passed the inspection. In summary, MainLine Plumbing was completely unprofessional. They tried to take advantage of my situation to make me spend more money by upselling and price-gouging me for a "structural" permit I did not need, on top of an already expensive plumbing permit. They were unreliable with their communication and follow-up. To make matters worse, they left me to handle the inspection alone when they should have been there to answer questions or address any issues that arise. It was a terrible experience!

After the company that did the drainfield refused to come fix the problem. I found 24-7 Pump Out and they immediately agreed to come out on a Saturday (by the way no extra weekend fee crap). I live in Palm Beach Gardens, Palm Beach County and within a few hours they came out and fixed everything, plus did a complete blow out of the inside pipes for a minimal amount of money. Jason and Michael literally saved my weekend because I had out of town guests staying with me (we had to drive to local Publix to use the bathroom...it was that bad!) Plus I had a big birthday dinner party scheduled that weekend. Since then Jason has been hands on and has personally followed up with me with a genuine concern that with rainy season coming he wanted to let me know that the old septic lids (long time needed) needed to be replaced whether I used his company or another company... I needed to update the septic lids. I had priced around the same lids and 24-7 Pump Out was $200.00 less than any other companies. Now my septic is secure and no more water seeks in to the drain field. This company is extremely reasonable and really cares and takes pride in their work for all of the services they provide. Trust me when I say this is a very honest company, which is very diffucult to find. I have been through approximately 8 sewer compnies in the past three years. I finally found a keeper in 24-7 Pump Out. I highly recommend this company...you will not be sorry!
