We had 60+ windows cleaned which was a very long job for only 2 crew members, but they were professional, courteous and stayed until the wee hours to get it done and done right. How much does cleaning solar panels improve their output?…read more I had my solar panels cleaned recently by @sudandsqueegie. I had them cleaned only a few months earlier by another company, but I recleaned them because two panels were producing lower output and looked obviously dirty. The other panels did not look like they needed cleaning. I was surprised to see that the cleaning improved the output of all the panels from an average of about 340 Wh per panel to about 540 Wh, an increase of about 58%! The first picture is a drone shot of the panels, showing the two panels that were obviously dirty. The first panel picture shows the output of all panels before cleaning, and the second panel picture shows the output after cleaning. The panel output measurements were taken within 1 hour of each other at around 1 pm. It was a partially overcast day, so the output is usually much greater. However, it shows the amount of improvement possible with simple cleaning of the panels, despite them not appearing obviously dirty to the naked eye. It turns out the two panels that looked obviously dirty had cracks in the glass surface, and most of the discoloration was dirt that had seeped underneath the glass coating and could not be removed by cleaning. Surprisingly, not only did the surface cleaning of the two "dirty panels" improve, but it also improved the other panels that did not look like they needed cleaning! The original company that did the cleaning used a brush on a long pole to drip deionized water onto the panels. @sudandsqueegee used a long pole with two rotating brushes, which seemed to be more effective. They were very efficient and professional in their work. I recommend them highly.

Unprofessional behavior!…read moreFor the estimate I informed the company of our condo layout, second floor, number of windows, etc. They gave me estimate , I agreed and made an appointment. They gave me specific instructions to remove everything from accessing the windows plus all artwork, if any near the windows. We moved furniture, blinds, artwork, etc. The day before appointment I didn't hear from them so I emailed them confirming our appointment. Julia the manager, called me back and said they actually looked at Google photos and it looks like the work they estimated (more than a week or two, ago)was not correct so it will be more money. I was surprised but agreed to decide on the price when the workers come actually here and estimate the right price then. On the day of appointment the company worker who was scheduled to come, called me and said he has family emergency situation and he's on the way, or in hospital. He told me to call the company manager Julia to set up new appointments. Again, I was surprised that he's calling me not the manager. So after a while I thought she will call me and inform me about this new situation but no, no call, no email, nothing. So I called Julia, she sounded very surprised, not knowing about this situation at all. I asked her if she has back up plan? No she didn't. She said she will call her workers and let me know, soon. She returned call in few minutes and said that worker who supposed to come, left the job because in his opinion it was not safe??? He never even showed up, here?! So why did he lie to me?! While this company had great reviews on which base I decided to hire them, I would not recommend them at all! Obviously something is missing there! Very disappointing! They don't even deserve 1star!

As we are not very familiar with this process, I will only list the things that were relevant to our current window cleaning with Premier Cleaning. First, they came by and offered to give us a quote for our2 story house with 37 windows. Scheduling was easy. They arrived at the time they said they would. There were 2 young gentlemen doing the work for the day. One seemed to be in training. After they started their work, they offer to also clean our gutters as they said it was quite dirty and "full". The picture they took did show some debris, so we opted for additional gutter cleaning. Towards the end, they pointed out that our window screens had some holes in them and they said they could replace them overnight and bring them back the next day. So we also opted to do that. In total, with added gutter cleaning and screens repair (10 screens total), the service ended up being doubled the original quote for only window cleaning. It wasn't exactly what we had budgeted but sometimes home maintenance requires the additional expenses. These guys were easy to work with, they communicated well and were professionals. They provided the services that they said they would provide. I was happy with the cleaning in all. It is important to give young people opportunities to make it in business, I am glad to give my business to a couple of young hard working individuals.
