I wanted equipment that felt legit, not flimsy "home gym" versions of what I'm used to. My experience at Hele Fitness in Kaneohe made that transition smooth and free of buyer's remorse. From the start, Justin and his staff understood exactly what I was looking for. I explained that I'm used to gym grade equipment and didn't want to compromise on quality just because I'm moving my training into my garage. They walked me through options that matched that standard and helped me think through layout, storage, and versatility. I picked up three of their kettlebells, and they feel fantastic! My wife and I agree they're definitely solid, weight is well balanced, and durable. The handles are smooth without being slick and large enough to comfortably grip which makes higher rep work and heavier swings feel secure. They genuinely feel better than the kind of equipment you find in a commercial gym. The biggest surprise for me was their storage cart. I originally bought one to keep my space organized, and after setting it up, I went back and bought a second one. That's how much I liked it. It's sturdy, easy to move around, and makes my garage gym feel clean and professional instead of cluttered. Having everything organized and accessible has made my home workouts feel more inviting. I also added their sand bags to my setup, and they've been a great addition. They're extremely well made, durable, and versatile for carries, cleans, and conditioning work. The option to fill to the desired weight makes it easy to progress without needing multiple separate pieces of equipment. On top of the quality, their pricing was very fair for Hawaii, especially considering the qualifying of their equipment. I feel like I am investing in equipment that will last for years. If you're used to training in a commercial gym and are thinking about building out a serious home setup, Hele Fitness in Kaneohe is absolutely worth checking out. Justin and his team understand quality, they give great recommendations, and they made my transition from gym workouts to garage training seamless.

The service is good, the customer service team is knowledgeable about which shoes to recommend and are very helpful. I don't like it when people try to sell me items and keep on asking me if I need help so I really appreciate the service and help provided when asked. Sometimes we worry about parking since it's near several shops but we always seem to find a good parking spot.

I've been dealing with plantar fasciitis so I was desperate to get new work shoes for the following week because I'm on my feet all day. I called Runner's Hi to see if they were open during the storm and Ray answered. I explained what I was looking for and he said to come in. When my son & I got there Ray greeted us and I told him I had called ahead. Ray went above & beyond to help me find the right shoes & inserts to deal with my plantar fasciitis. He sized me, took a look at my feet and saw I had collapsing arches. He recommended 2 different shoes. I asked him for all black shoes because I needed them for work. He had me try on 2 different pairs of shoes one was the Hoka Bondi 9 and a pair of Brooks and had me walk around to test them. Ray also suggested that I walk around with Hoka on one foot & Brooks on the other foot to compare the 2 shoes better. I ended up with the Hokas & the recommended inserts to make it more comfortable for my plantar fasciitis. I also bought a massage ball and compression sock to aid in my recovery. The Hokas felt great & I made sure to wear my current work shoes to the store so Ray could see what I was currently wearing. Thank you so much Ray! I will definitely be back when it's time to upgrade my work shoes.

Great service and great staff…read more I've come back to Boca multiple times even though it's out of the way because they always had good feedback or little tips to share with me. I first went to get a bike fitting but didn't end up charging me cause it was already so close. I ended coming back and ordering other online parts and for more racing advice for the season. Great shop, great people

So I damaged my rear carbon fiber Reserve wheel. I called up reserve to see about a warranty…read morereplacement. I took a photo and they sent out a replacement but it needed to be built using my old hub. So they had me go to a local Cervelo dealer with a claim number that would bill them for the labor. I sent Boca a note and the owner got back to me quickly saying that he had two great in house wheel builders. Perfect. So I went to drop off my wheel on a Saturday. The guy at the counter seemed confused because I was doing warranty work on a wheel not purchased at Boca. So I explained to him Reserve is a Cervelo brand. And Reserve gave me a claim number they could input in their computer to have the labor paid for since I supplied all the parts. He still seemed a bit uncertain but he took the wheels (new and damaged). I filled out a slip but didn't receive a receipt, which made me a little uneasy since this was my first time in the store. He said 2-4 days. Not hearing from Boca, I called the following Friday. The guy who answered had no idea what I was talking about and just said it would be another couple of days. So I'm legit worried now. I emailed Boca again just to ensure I did everything right (no response this time). But I get a call back later that day from Boca--I guess the guy went into the back to look for my wheel or whatever--and he's like they're just waiting on Cervelo to give them the ok to do the claim so that their builder gets paid. I was like Reserve gave me a claim number and I wrote it on the slip I had to fill out (and in my email). The next Tuesday/Wednesday, I receive a call from Boca saying the wheel was ready for pickup. So a week and a half versus the 2-4 days I was originally promised. I'm sure the delay had everything to do with the whole claim system or whatever for the labor cost. But I'm out riding again. The wheel feels great so far. I have zero complaints. I think the builder did a great job and I'm glad they were able to sort out whatever they needed to so I could get back on the road. If I was in the market for a Cervelo, I'd definitely give Boca my business. Mostly pleasant experience. But I would have preferred to get some sort of receipt when I dropped off my wheels initially.

Coach Justin had been training me for the past half year and I've seen results! Working out with other women creates a safe and positive environment. We all cheer each other on here. I tried a class for free on a whim thinking there's no way I'm going to drive to town regularly just for a workout. I loved the first class so much that I went once a week for the first month (June). I decided to upgrade to twice a month in July, and saw really good gains in my strength, so for August I'm trying 3 classes a month! There are various classes and schedule times available. Membership packages come in monthly packs of 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, or 24 classes. I'm glad I joined right before the prices went up a bit. The prices are still very reasonable, especially since I was once an Orange Theory member $$$. I stopped going to 24 hour fitness over a year ago because of covid, and it's so packed in there all the time that it would give me anxiety even pre-pandemic. I love that all of the classes are women only (I've only taken one class where one guy showed up other than coach Justin). The only coed class is technically the Biceps and Curls class. I'm excited for more classes to be added on. Classes are generally limited to 8-10 people, with some classes being more full than others. My favorite classes are the Booty Camp and Booty Building classes. They will be moving in a few months to a bigger location. My dream is for there to be a Kapolei location so my lazy self doesn't have to drive to town anymore. They do follow Covid protocols and masks are worn during class with hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes available. Bring a towel!
