TrueCare Ramona is hands down the best healthcare experience I've ever had. I truly trust Dr. Lysa Ho and Sage. They listen, explain things clearly, and never make you feel rushed. The nurses are incredible, especially with blood draws, and you can tell they work hard and genuinely care. The front desk staff, including Jasmine, is always kind, organized, and welcoming. On the dental side, Dr. Audrey Foroutan is amazing. My teeth have never been healthier and my smile has never been better. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. My husband was in a head on collision back in November and he quickly followed up days later due to neck, and hip pain. He was then referred to PT by Dr. Lysa Ho. After WEEKS of not hearing anything we finally heard from PT that the referral had incorrect coding preventing the scheduling. After multiple attempts of phone calls and countless voicemails left from both myself and the physical therapy location, months later they finally received the referral. Only for the referral to, yet again, be done incorrectly. So good luck to anyone that needs anything from this place. It is now February 25th, I called and left a voicemail again this afternoon (and no it wasn't nice). But you wouldn't be nice either if your husband has been enduring months and months of pain only to be completely ignored. The ONLY time that I received help was from an incredible woman in the Women's Health Department (because I just started pushing buttons to get someone on the phone) she saw the history and felt so bad and so embarrassed that she did what I needed someone in the adult medicine referral department to do back in November. Next step is malpractice suit for administrative negligence. Not even the physical therapy center can wrap their heads around the complete nonsense that we are experiencing. DO BETTER BY YOUR PATIENTS TRUE CARE. Can't wait for open enrollment to get rid of this unprofessional joke of an office. read more

Very excited about working with Dr. Ho Today I had my first introductory appointment with Dr. Ho. I was quite impressed with her Medical Assistant who took my background information. Beyond asking me about any allergies, surgeries or physical conditions, she inquired about my mental health and well-being. She asked about my feeling of food security and inquired as to whether I was experiencing any domestic abuse or violence. Maybe this is standard practice, but I was quite impressed with her questions and her demeanor. Next, I had a video chat with Dr. Ho. She followed up with a few more in-depth questions about the surgeries and asked about any current concerns. I was sent to this clinic for Primary Care and was set up with Doctor Jody Reifenberger. I am chronically ill, with many bodily pains. Im also mentally ill, however that was NOT the primary reason for my visiting. I began visits a little over three months ago, and it was because my body feels as if it is falling apart, and the pain has become too overwhelming to work, or even live and do at home tasks. I have been begging Dr Reifenberger to listen to me about my pain, but she continued to state that there was no reason to be worried, whilst demanding I handle my mental health before I get any more help. My mental health is doing amazing, and is NOT the reason I came to this doctors office. I am in PHYSICAL pain and can barely function, and Dr. Jody did NOTHING to help me. She looked at me like I was crazy and an idiot, because she didn't know what was wrong with me. I am currently working on my mental health, but due to the amount of helpless visits i've had to pay for with Jody, I am now unable to afford any further help. While she did refer me to physical and mental therapy, she also refused to refill my heart medication. This has lead to uncontrollable panic, body trembling, and stuttering that makes me unable to come in for an appointment. Now, Jody has refused to see me any longer because I disliked her "style" of handling patients. This has caused me two months of lost/decreased income, because of her incompetence. If you want educated care, I definitely would not suggest Jody Reifenberger. If you want someone who is kind to mentally challenged individuals, I would not suggest Dr Jody. If you want someone to listen to your struggles and pains, and hear your words and not your actions, Jody is not the doctor for you. Please, save yourself the pain and struggle, and find someone more equipped to handle complexities in the primary care world. You deserve better. read more

I started my medical care at True Care this past February 2024. I am very pleased with the front desk staff. They are fast and efficient. I have been there 2 times; once to meet my primary care doctor, Lisa Ho and for blood work. Dr. Ho was very efficient as well. She looked at my past medical record and referred me for the needed blood work. I am able to message her through my chart through True Care and she messages me back personally and I really appreciate that she writes back to me herself; with my previous doctor, the nurse would message me. If you don't want to be in the waiting room for an hour, I highly recommend True Care for your medical needs. read more

I have had The Worst time scheduling appointments with this office since I switched my primary care. They are also super busy bc they take on way more patients than they can handle. I don't think I have ever seen my actual primary care dr & the nurses have been extremely brief w/ me and Rude. I have been coming here for about 9 months now & that is 9 MONTHS TOO LONG. I went to ER yesterday for an ongoing problem w my shoulder. My own dr could not see me until October & thats just to read an x-ray. So Ghetto!!! The ER dr told me I was his 4th patient from north county health services Ramona (it was 11am). I think that says it all. Oh yeah, if you are planning on scheduling an appointment expect at least a 20 minute wait on hold. read more

I wish I could give a negative star but I guess that it is not an option. If you have insurance DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! My husband needed to get a tetanus shot ASAP for an incident and was told they are out of tetanus shots. When he pressed the issue, he was told they have tetanus shots but those are for people WITHOUT insurance. They were out of tetanus shots for people with insurance. How in the hell does that make sense? He eventually got the shot, mostly because they didn't want to deal with him. But to openly admit that he can't get the shot because We HAVE insurance is bullshit. Might as well cancel my insurance, it obviously does me no good when without insurance more options are available. read more

Not a fan of the dental office. My daughter has been told twice that she has a cavity, yet they still haven't filled it. I understand that not all problems can be taken care of on your first visit. That being said, when I went to make a follow up visit, I made sure to specify that it was going to be a cleaning and a cavity filling. Since the scheduler and I seemed to be on the same page (Um, she repeated back to me "cleaning and filling"), I made the appointment. Took darling daughter back for said appointment. A hygienist took her back, made me sit in the waiting room and brought her back out within 15 minutes. I said "Oh, that was a quick filling!". The hygienist said "She didn't get a filling, the dentist isn't even here." Really? I made yet another appointment (since everyone deserves a second chance) only to have it cancelled at the last minute. read more

If you are thinking of using True Care. Do yourself a favor. Due your due diligence. I have never been in a place like this. I literally have to do all my work if I want something done. Fr example, a referral means you NP will refer you, the referral dept. but they could not find one. It took them over 2 months to find a specialist, I had to go to my own insurance for them to help me find a specialist because the referral department could not find one. My insurance advocate found within a few days. My insurance took time to correct their mistakes and find a specialist for me. that just one example. So please do you due diligence before you join True Care. By the way we as patient are not able to contact our medical facility directly. We have to call the phone service and they themselves decide whether is important enough to transfer our call to our providers office. This phone service answers phones all their 7 offices. read more

The doctors, nurses, and staff are kind, professional, and very knowledgeable, and what's more, they seem to genuinely care. I do not handle very well and nobody in this office causes me any anxiety. What is also nice, is that I have always been seen on time, never left to wait for hours. Very well run establishment. read more

This is the worst place for medical treatment hands-down!! Dr. Young has had me waiting and waiting and waiting to get a pain management specialist referral!! It's been more than six months and I still have not been referred to pain management specialist... Dr. Young does not seem to care about my medical problem nor has she reviewed all of my medical record!! I can't believe she claims yourself to be a doctor but yet lets her patients suffer for months and months without caring about A patient's well-being... I have broken my back, titanium plate put in my collarbone because I shattered, I suffer from abdominal pains, severe brain injury and dr. Young laughed in my face when I asked her for A refill on my pain meds because I recently separated the AC joint in my shoulder and I'm still waiting for a surgeon to repair me :( I have never felt so uncomfortable with the doctor... Idk what to do... I have major health problems and this doctor does not seem to care at all whatsoever :( Due to my severe brain injury I deal with depression anxiety suicidal thoughts now but dr. Young is doing less than the bare minimum to help me.. read more

I have to say, I have been there at least 4x. Every single time they are more than nice. Very friendly to say the least. My wait time has been perfectly on time 3 out of 4x. Once I waited just a little bit (30 min) but that's pretty normal. Matt Kosel (PA) is very kind and very thorough, and the nurses are also very kind. I like it so much better than North County Health Svs in San Marcos. It is so much friendlier. Highly recommend, especially for those with no insurance. An office visit is $45, labs are cheap, and now everything is computerized. Dr. Kosel looked up one of my meds on Costco to determine which is the best cost for me, and sent my prescrip right over. I came here to get an exam bc I had concerns for my health and they told me - after I was already checked in and waiting on the doctor- that I couldn't have my exam done bc I wasn't 21 yet. Even though my birthday had been confirmed by 2 different staff members. The doctor who informed me that I couldn't be seen was obviously in a hurry and came off as rude. I recently went to get help filling out the health insurance application and Maria Ochoa was extremely helpful! She was just awesome, very patient, and explained everything very well. I dread taking my kids there!!! It's always the same story, waiting for F***ing EVER!!! I had taken my daughter in there yesterday for a 2:15 appointment, and she wasn't seen until an hour later!!!I Usually my daughter sees Dr. Young and she's pretty good (my daughter likes her and that's what's most important). The NP that saw my daughter was named Humenez, she examined my daughters foot and told her that she had an infection and would call in an antibiotic. When I got to the pharmacy I was told that her insurance didn't cover the cost and if I wanted to purchase it the cost was $131.00!!! Now I have no effin idea what medicine the NP called into the pharmacy because I was never given a printout after the appointment. I called the clinic when I got home and asked the NP to change the prescription to a medicine that my daughters insurance did cover. I got no return call the next day so I called the pharmacy and they told me nothing was called in for her. I was getting pretty upset by this time so I called the clinic and the stupid half whit that answered the phone transferred me to another freakin voice mail. I mean COME ON it's not a big place, just walk around the corner and get 1 of the 7 nurses I always see sitting at the nurses station!!! 2 F***ing days have gone by and my daughter still has no antibiotics!!! The clinic knows she's type 1 diabetic with an infection and they know what insurance she has, I'm so effin pissed rite now!!! Clearly they need to get they shit F***ing together!!! read more

I cannot speak for other patients, but I can for my former spouse, a woman I was still close to and whom I, her family, and friends cherished very much. Because of insurance restrictions she could no longer seek care at the local clinic and was forced to go to this clinic . When this year, 2016, her most essential medication prescription was allowed to lapse without notice I intervened, insisted prescriptions continue, and attended I the next few visits. It became obvious that the doctors did not understand agoraphobia, panic disorder, or PTSD, in particular one doctor was cold, adversarial, un-compassionate and insistent that a monthly trip to the clinic had to happen. Her supervisor was not so insistent. My former spouse was so traumatize that she could no longer go back, especially having to see that doctor again. I didn't hear that the clinic ever called to find out why. She had nowhere else to go and home care was not authorized. She had to wean herself off of her medications that were no longer prescribed and she suffered immensely. She passed away Saturday morning, July 2, 2016 read more

I like the current doctor that I am seeing now. He listens to me and acts on issues promptly. I've also been seen by another and he was by far the worse experience, does not listen to problems and acts like he's bored out of his mind while talking to you. This "Health Service Clinic" is exactly that. Fees being based on your income or lack of one. Mostly it is walk in sick people who can't afford to go any place else. I have lived up here 16 years and during that time prior to having good employment needed their services for myself and my young son. I always received good service and meds that I was able to afford. The sicker you are the quicker you are seen. My poor son used to get strep throat a lot. They also have a dental office upstairs that I had to use twice. While yes it is true you have to wait awhile at time because of emergencies that they deal with at other times you get right in. I think most the time people are as nice to you as you are to them. I was always treated fair. This is a super busy clinic and I am very thankful they have been there many times to help. If you want to be treated like a prima donna go pay big bucks for an office visit at another health care center that is not funded on tax dollars. read more

id give no stars if i could...the absolute WORST place to go for health care. not only have they treated me badly, the doctors ethics are questionable at best, the nurses (all but a few) are rude and rushed, and the front receptionist have such a heavy spanish accent that they are to understand. they have brought me the wrong test results not once, but twice. when i say wrong results, i mean they brought me a completle strangers test results, TWICE! one physcians assisstant accused me of being a drug seeker after i requested some tylenol with codeine after having a leg wound irrigated, surgically cleaned out, and repacked with guaze and a drain tube IN THIER OFFICE not 10 mins before i asked him, and he said "no, motrin should be just fine for the pain"... i had to go to ER that night because of the pain, and ended up having a staph infection that the clinic missed. this place is completley incompetent! just save yourself the trouble and drive down the hill... read more
