In the meantime I purchased a home red light unit to try out on my own. Decent results, so a couple months ago I called the clinic to ask when the package I purchased would expire. The clinic staff told me I had until November 1st to use what I'd purchased. I scheduled 2 visits with a cheery, helpful gal ~ one for today, one for Oct. 31st. This morning Danielle (office mgr) called me to say that the package I purchased expired 5 days ago and they were not going to honor them. Received cancelation texts following her phone call. Really? Just wow. A hearty 1 star review

Honestly...maybe I should be concerned LOL, but I am happy doing my thing and she comes home happy and Frisky, so who am I to judge.

I've belonged for nearly 2 years and love that my membership locks in low prices and sales for their services. Furthermore I take advantage of their annual Black Friday and New Years bonus gift certificates sales and buy myself chunks of bank for add-on's when I want them. So yes, a 90 minute massage once a month is maintenance, but if I want to add a sauna sesh and a HydroFacial - Done! Boom, I'm in. No worries and *discounted* from that pre-purchased gift card. I've also enrolled my husband and mother on my membership to enjoy the perks! What kind of other spa anywhere does that? I love the facility because it's compact, clean, efficient, tastefully decorated, has a fantastic red light sauna, and two gender neutral bathrooms. They have a lovely reception area with a wall-waterfall, essenced air misters, water, and tea. They offer a couples massage room with upgraded decor as well. I've gotten massages from Anna, Winnie, and Paul and I'm delighted by all of them. I get the free aromatherpay upgrade, and often will add on thera-gun or pay for hot stones when I'm super tight. Their estheticians are polite, gentle handed, competent and know how to help you relax. I love their HydroFacial and I think it's one of the best price offerings in the city. Whether I go online to book or call in to book, I know I'm locking in a great experience.

I had a hard time making an appointment on the website so I called to make an appointment. I was able to make an appointment over the phone and put my gift card on file. The next morning at 9 am, I walked in and was greeted warmly by the front desk. I filled out some paperwork and waited a few minutes before Karla walked out to take me back to the room. She was soft spoken and gentle, and she asked me a few questions before having me undress and get on the table under a warm blanket with a pillow under my feet. She had a medium to hard pressure during the massage, and she didn't talk much, which I liked, so that I was able to relax. I had a few knots in my shoulders and lower back, and she took the time to work them out. I had the option of aromatherapy for free and chose peppermint. At the end of the massage I felt relaxed and pampered. She had a glass of water waiting outside the room for me after I dressed along with her card to make a future appointment. The front desk checked me out quickly and let me know to look for emails for black Friday and Christmas deals coming up. I hope to be back in the future for another massage.

The staff was still extremely friendly and accommodating, and we never felt rushed or like our being a few minutes late threw off the experience. We booked the couples spa day, which included a one-hour Vichy shower, one-hour couples massage, and 30 minutes in the salt room with champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries. We started with the Vichy shower, which was the PERFECT way to start the day. It really set the mood and left us feeling so clean, smooth, and relaxed going into our massage. The massage was so relaxing that my husband actually started snoring! We finished everything off in the salt room with champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries, which was such a nice ending to the experience. The ambiance was exactly what I want from a spa day. They have a beautiful waiting area for the time between services that feels warm, inviting, peaceful, and comfortable. It definitely gives you the spa day vibes you expect when you're treating yourself. The staff was super friendly and professional. I also really appreciated that they didn't make you feel rushed, but everything still ran on a schedule and felt very organized. We seriously felt like new people walking out of there! We enjoyed it so much that we made a pact to make this a once-a-month experience. 100% recommend Natural Healing Day Spa, whether you're looking for a couples experience or just want to treat yourself to a day of relaxation. Before we even began the massage, he was taking a series of measurements and performing range of motion tests while asking me various questions about my habits and level of pain. He really takes the time to understand where your pain is coming from and knows how your body "should" work and how to get it there. It took awhile to relax and it can be a challenge to let go of your tight muscles, but the atmosphere is calming and I felt so relaxed and limber even after one session. It was as if I was finally able to stand up correctly after years of slouching and poor posture. I immediately scheduled additional sessions and I continued to improve my posture and my pain just melted away after a few weeks. If you struggle with any sort of chronic musculoskeletal pain I HIGHLY recommend getting a 2 hour session. You really won't regret it. It can be hard to get everything done in a one hour session especially if you haven't had a massage in awhile. He told me my lats felt like piano keys from all the knots I had in them. Courtland was exceptionally kind and caring. Every other massage I've gotten since then from other places just felt cheap and quick in comparison. Thank you Courtland!
