She brought out a glass of wine for me, and when I finished, she took me to the room where my facial would be. It was a pink room with soft lights and a warmed table with blankets. She had me change into a robe and put a headband around my forehead to push the hair back. Then, for the next 60 minutes I was pampered. She asked about my skin concerns, problems I wanted to fix, what I currently used, and small talk. I felt relaxed, at ease, and comfortable with her. She was gentle with my face and explained some of the products she was using. At the end, my face felt so good and cleared. I changed back into my clothes and walked out front. She explained what she used on me and offered different products to buy based on what I'm trying to fix with my skin. I picked out a Dermalogica exfoliant to help with brightening my face, and it was 20% off for the month of March. I decided to walk in and try anyways and was able to get seen right away! Let me tell you this place is beautiful! Every detail is brand new and so elegant and spotless. I love when all the polishes are brand new too. I got a pedicure by Anna and she did an amazing job! She cut my the sides of my nails that start to hurt when they grow out with care and did a beautiful job. She also did a great massage and the massage chairs were also amazing! It's hard to find a place that has all of the important things to me for a pedicure but they definitely do. I either drag my heels on using it OR I just never get around to using. My one friend frequents this spa and my husband had mentioned to her that I had a gift card. So here we are two years later, me using the gift card because I had someone to go with and force me to finally use the gift card. When she booked, she asked me what service I wanted. After looking at their menu, I had opted for the Tranquil Retreat, which included a scalp massage, massage, and body scrub. The day before the experience I wound up asking my friend a myriad of questions. She explained everything to me, and mentioned we should get there early, even though our appointments were until the afternoon, because we could use the pool. have lunch and drinks prior to our appointment. I got there early, checked in, and was shown to the locker room, given a robe and a locker, then made my way to the pool. The pool area was beautiful, with a waterfall in the pool, lounge chairs, and umbrellas. I met my friend and she mentioned she'd be ordering a drink, so when in Rome. I ordered a Poinsettia. They had a bunch of cocktails and champagne based drinks. It was nice because we got to relax for a few hours prior to our services. I will admit, it seemed very exclusive here. Service was great, there was always someone coming around to see if you needed anything. I also wound up ordering a strawberry champagne cocktail, which was very good and refreshing. For lunch, I opted for their fish wrap. While the wrap was good, I don't think it was worth the $25 price tag, since it did come with a bag of chips. I'm not trying to knock it, but for the price, I was expecting something more. Ten minutes prior to our service, we made our way back to their waiting area. Which is calm and serene. Draped fabric line the ceiling, and calm blue and cream colors are accented on furniture. Amber came out who would be doing my services and walked me back. She explained each service, how it would be handled, etc. I loved that the massage table was heated, since I always run cold. The massage and scrub were lovely, and loved the lavender lotion and scrub they used. Amber did a great job adjusting the pressure to my liking. I will say the one thing I disliked was that you could hear someone with a rolling cart (I'm presuming they were collecting towels), but it was so loud during the service and wasn't super relaxing to hear that during the service. After my services, I opted to take a shower in the locker room, which was great, especially if you're getting a scalp massage. I also utilized the steam room, which was a nice bonus. Pros: -Ability to be there all day -Beautiful pool area -Ability to have drinks by the pool -Amber who did my services was great -Beautiful interior and exterior -Attendants at the pool were great Cons: -Loud rollie cart during services -Super high price tag, especially for food and beverage Tips: They add a 22% service charge to all bills. Also, if you book a later appointment you can go in earlier and enjoy the pool area.
