Brett is very professional and immediately responded to my email and followed by phone calls - the most cost effictive suggesiton was proposed by him. A 3 years package was offered and we made a quick deal. A technician was despatched to our house 2nd day in the morning and installation was done in just about one hour. Then a demonstration and detailed explanation on downloading related Apps into mobile and usage of the system was given after that. A few days later, we found the alarm was triggered a few times while nothing occurred in the late evening after syestem being set to home stay mode. We called True Petotection and the next day the same technician came over for a through test and checking. Some old sensor was found malfunction and he replaced all for us right away. A follow up phone call was made to us the day after with apology of inconvenience caused and everything was perfect after that. Nice peoples and great job. We purchased our first home last month. Understanding that this is the largest investment we'll make in a lifetime, having a security system in place was crucial. It took no time at all for all of the big name companies to send out mailers. I like to do my own research and I liked what I read about True Protection. I sent out a Yelp Quote Blast and had responses from many companies within minutes. Brett with True Protection responded with a more lengthy message than others, answering many questions that I had before I could ask them. I gave him a ring and we were able to put together a customized "take over" plan for my home that had an existing, older system. He also emailed me what we had discussed so that I could show my husband and make our final decision. We gave Brett our thumbs up, we signed our documents digitally (thank you for keeping up with today's technology), and scheduled our installation. Ivan was our installation wizard. He arrived ten minutes prior to the appointment time with a smile on his face and a joke about my no soliciting sign that made me laugh hysterically - nice icebreaker and way to break that awkwardness whenever technicians are in your home. I showed him around our existing equipment and he explained, in detail, exactly what he would be doing. He was able to install our control panel in another location; we agreed that the old one was in a weird place that didn't make since. I don't know if Brett purposely scheduled Ivan for us based on our initial conversation and some of the things I had mentioned about pets and little tidbits. While Ivan remained professional, yet relaxed and not stiff, we were able to chat about common interests and help place motion sensor(s) because he, too, is a cat person. And cat people know how adventurous felines can be and perhaps trigger one of said sensors. Bonus points because Ivan games on Xbox and so do I. Don't care that this is unrelated to security systems...I'm writing the review and I decide that my installer was cool. It honestly felt like a longtime family friend was installing our equipment. After everything was handled, Ivan walked me through the many ways to access my system. His brief lessons made me feel comfortable using the system, enough that I could pass the knowledge along to my husband. I thanked Ivan, we shook hands, and I pointed him to some places to grub for lunch. Ivan, if you are reading this, I'm kicking myself for not ordering us lunch with Door Dash; I do hope you found somewhere good to eat! Everything is working as it should. I received a phone call the next day from the monitoring company to verify that everything was smooth and that they had our information correct. Bonus: The previous alarm company came by the day before our installation in an attempt to win our business, even left his card. Sorry buddy, I am confident that I chose the best there is! I have spoken with and have had a few different work crews from True Protection at my current and former residence.
