I'm not one to typically complain or leave reviews but the wait time at this practice is absolutely…read moreabsurd. I'm not sure what is happening behind the scenes with their time management, but it needs major improvement. Every single visit results in a 30min to 45min wait past my appointment time. What makes this especially frustrating is that a few months ago my 7:00AM appointment was canceled because I arrived at 7:05AM. Considering how common it is to be kept waiting far beyond my scheduled time, it was shocking and odd to me that 5mins was treated as a serious issue. So all of a sudden you have rules and being on time is important? Mind you, there are no visible signs in the office outlining this policy, no text messages, no phone calls, and nothing written anywhere. Even when I later called to reschedule, the receptionist seemed confused about why my appointment had been canceled. Her exact response was, "You weren't even that late." This makes the policy feel inconsistent and arbitrary. They pull it out of their behinds whenever they feel like it. Since that situation, I've made it a point to arrive early or exactly on time for every appointment. Yet I still sit in the waiting room for over 30 minutes every single visit. How are you holding patients to a strict (and quite frankly - BS) standard that you as a practice cannot even meet? When I've raised this concern with staff, the response has been dismissive. I don't know if they are accustomed to serving patients who have unlimited flexibility, but people have jobs, children, and other commitments. You simply cannot treat people like this. There have been so many times that I have scheduled an appointment around my work schedule only to be made late to work or be out of the office longer than anticipated because by the time I thought I'd be wrapping up my appointment, I'm just now being called back. I understand (and expect) a 10-15min wait at a busy office. But 30-45mins is incredibly disrespectful. I've been told the delays are due to procedures taking longer and the doctor needing to be careful. Then schedule your appointments accordingly??? Poor planning on the practice's end is not my problem. While I do enjoy Dr. Davis, the ongoing disregard for my time is making me seriously consider finding a different practice.

He is the reason why I am not in a wheelchair and/or bedridden. He is the reason why I retired with time instead of disability. He is the reason why I can watch my grandchildren and, I was able to travel to Japan to see my family. I had surgery years ago. The residuals are DDD and other back/hip/leg conditions. This capitulated the need for myriad amounts of physical therapy, prednisone, and other modalities that rendered short lived success. It was very depressing to experience what I thought was the end of my career that I truly loved, and the end of my quality of life, even though I am a positive person. I worked 50-60 hours (or more) as a civilian program manager for a Federal law enforcement agency. Not only was the commute grueling, I sat for several hours at my desk (and intermittently stood for 1.5 hours or more as I organized, created training materials, and provided training seminars). I would not have been able to successfully perform my duties without Dr. Balint. I found out about Dr. Balint via LEO's who received successful treatment from him whom I saw recover completely. When I could barely walk and I was, yet again, in incessantly horrendous pain, I made an appointment. I am so very glad I listened to them because they were absolutely right! Dr. Balint's epidermal blocks are always in point. After the nerve blocks, I almost forgot my cane!! I had not felt that great for years!! The nerve blocks last from 9 months to 1 year. I have grandkids and I am pretty active with them. Since I have retired from work, I try to help my daughters by babysitting & helping the grandkids with their homework. Dr. Balint and his staff have always been very professional, approachable, and always make my day brighter! I thank God for him every time I wake up and I am able to function. I don't know what I would do without Dr. Balint!

I've suffered from a combination of Severe Anxiety with Panic Disorder, Associated Depression, and PTSD since I was 10; I've tried nearly every medicine on the market and nothing has been able to really improve my quality of life. I'm a mom of three with an intense career and going through a brutal custody battle, which has made it so much worse. It's $500 per infusion but I'm using my healthcare FSA and plan to pursue reimbursement from United Heathcare as well. The office is calm and lovely with no wait. My first session, the nurse (Angie?) was an IV needle ninja and reminded me of a Chinese Ping Pong Olympic match but with the fastest, easiest IV placement I've ever seen. The team was so thorough even though I was SO nervous about the dissociative experiences I had read about. They preventatively gave me Zofran for nausea and Versed for anxiety; I had a super comfy chair and crazy soft blanket I really want to buy for my house; and while the experience was VERY WEIRD, it wasn't unpleasant but felt very healing. Having read about music and the role in the treatment I played the Lord of the Rings soundtrack with the ups and downs and it was bizarre how it guided me through processing both my good memories and feelings and bad, but sort of helped me feel like I could overcome (a la Aragorn?). Highly recommend something like that to listen to. In a very weird trippy way I could FEEL the mental healing and I really mean that even in my now clear headed state. It's amazing, truly. My appointment was at 11:00-11:45, groggy feeling passed by around 12:15, by the time I was home just around 1 I had no problem getting back to work "fully there". My boyfriend was SHOCKED because he noticed a difference immediately. That's from one infusion. It's incredible and I can't believe it. Looking forward to tomorrow's and on Thursday!

Please follow his advise and you will be back to living your life and being yourself again. Not all conditions and people respond the same way to medications and he works to find the most appropriate healthplan and medications that will work best for you. Dr. Greene is a kind soul and born to be a doctor. In this day and age with much regulations doctors have to monitor and this practice takes that seriously. I wish I had the right insurance or funds to self pay and be able to see him again. He's the best pain management provider I've been treated by. He also has a highly talented and educated staff working with him. I'm no stranger to pain. I was a heptathlete from age 10 to 24 and twenty plus years later have much arthritis throughout my spine knee and shoulders to show for it. I've survived 2 car crashes into my car and a moving truck collision headon into a tree during a bad storm in which I suffered broken teeth and severe soft tissue injuries, sjc joint dislocation and vertebral strains that took over a year to treat and still being treated. I've had about 12 surgeries over the years to include my back and knee. So I understand pain from patient's perspective very well and how it can take over your life. I understand pain because of my Masters degree in biology: molecular science. Dr. Greene knows how what to do to get you back to your goals. I hope you will get to be seen by Dr. Greene. He takes time with each patient and really listens to each patient. Dr. Greene continuously researches to find innovative and the best treatments for his patients. So if there was anything negative, be prepared to wait an hour to two to be seen. It will be well worth it. Hope this review helps you and to your good health.

You can imagine why. Anywho, I'm upset and annoyed that SFP stopped accepting insurance. My first reaction was to leave a one star review, but that would not be fair. I believe they have their reasons. Many insurance companies do not align with, or support the type of care SFP provides. I do. After reading the negative reviews, I noticed a consistent theme: people felt disrespected, inconvenienced, or emotionally frustrated. That reaction is understandable. No one likes wasted time, and appointments should be honored. Personally, I have not experienced delayed appointments. What has changed is that appointments are harder to get, and that is worth asking why. Some reviewers were upset about receiving results over the phone. I actually prefer that. Preferences differ, and that matters. Could bedside manner improve? Yes. I agree with that criticism, and I won't defend it. There is room for improvement. That said, let's consider the nature of this practice. Imagine a doctor telling patients that improvement requires an alternative protocol: supplements, timing, lifestyle changes, and long-term commitment. No magic pill. No instant results. Some patients respond with "that's too much," "that's too expensive," or "I can't do that." If a practitioner truly believes in their protocol and practices with integrity, it is reasonable to say: if you are unwilling to follow it, this may not be the right place for you. Health requires time, effort, and maintenance. Proactive care is very different from reactive care. That difference often separates one star reviews from five star reviews. So ask yourself: why do people choose this practice? Is the alternative better, or simply more familiar? Where do your values lie? Are you proactive about your health, willing to research and participate in your care, or do you expect doctors to have every answer while making you feel comfortable along the way? This is an alternative practice for people who are dissatisfied with mainstream medicine. It is not for everyone. No doctor, primary care provider, alternative practitioner, or specialist has all the answers. That is precisely why SFP blends approaches, though it clearly leans more alternative than conventional. Choose wisely. Do your research. Think critically. As for service: service is declining everywhere, not just here. Expectations are high, patience is low, and social media amplifies dissatisfaction. Criticism is valid when it is constructive, but perspective matters. This practice works for people who understand what they are signing up for. If you do, you may find real value here.

So now, you're paying out of pocket. But they are still trying to run like they take insurance. Ridiculous long wait times. Like insanely rude long wait times... online tele visits... Dr was over 30 minutes late and didn't even apologize. Every time I've been in that office, ppl are pissed, asking how much longer. You have the front desk girls loudly gossiping, then when someone gets upset about waiting they shift to talking in Spanish. They do actually take their time, you don't feel rushed, they listen... But I think they need a system and put the patient first, our time is valuable.... Our money is precious!
